Not what I expected

So my experience wasn't too great. It did dry out the break outs I was having at the time but it made my face feel very tight and dry. Around my mouth and chin area I started getting rough patches, they went red but I could definitely feel it. Face felt very tight and uncomfortable.

Quick Take: good value
This product is great! I had mild reoccuring acne and I just couldn't find a product that worked until now. It is gentle enough for my semi-sensitive skin but strong enough to protect for future breakouts! I bought the travel kit to test it but will be purchasing the full size going forward.

Today makes it 2 weeks since I purchased and began using this kit. I felt/saw drastic changes in my skin within days. My acne reduced BIG time and the oil control is out of this world and the texture of my skin has smoothened out .

I started to use this kit, after my acne came back after stopping using birth control pill.
After 1 day and half my skin started to be irritated and flaky !
It's like a sun burn...
I Bought this, thinking it will be good for my skin problem.... today it's worst and this product should be taken off the market !
It is very DANGEROUS !

Quick Take: good value, travel-friendly
This is my experience of this amazing product, it may no work for everybody, but oh am I glad it did for me! So, I'm light skinned Asian with combination skin that changes with the season. Also from time to time I get bad break outs because of my unbalanced hormone. Anyway, I went into the store to try out the Acne Spot Treatment and oh my god, I was sold right away. My pores shrunk within seconds and by the time I was done and bought the kit to try out at home it was not as visible. I was also torn between this other brand but because this was more around my price range of trying out something that will help me control my break outs, it was a deal breaker. I was not too fond of the smell, but its not noticeable when you put it on. It kind of gives you that sticky feel on you face, but only because you skin is still absorbing it and still drying off. I think it was the toner, it'll sting a bit around the affected areas, but don't freak out it'll pass after 10 seconds. After that, its like your back in your own skin and no one would know you put anything on your face. That is another factor that I am most impressed with. Some reviewers said "a little goes a long way". So don't feel defeated after seeing the small bottles and thinking how this could possibly last you a month like they advertise. I don't need a lot on my face, just a dime size and there's instructions in it that will show you the morning and night routine. I've only used it for 2 days and so far the results are good for me. This kit will also give you a good feel on how their Acne line work for you (I'm saying it again, a pretty good deal.). I will give another updated review after two weeks!

Did not work for me at all

I suffer from adult acne and I bought this kit wanting to love it. I used it religiously for two months. The first month my skin purged, the second month it went straight back to normal everyday outbreaks. I didn't see any improvement at all. None of the individual products stood out to me so I will not be purchasing any.

Quick Take: good value, great price to try something new, good for oily skin
I have tried numerous products to help clear my skin. Proactiv, Cinique, Neutragena, and Oxy to name a few. I've been using Clean & Clear to prevent breakouts, but it doesn't clear my skin. I decided to try Murad because for trying something new it was a good value and that's important to me. I don't want to waste a lot of money on something that doesn't work. Let me say, I am so glad I tried this product and it is my new skin care regiment.
The first thing I thought when I opened the container was "These bottles are tiny. No way will they last 30 days", but boy was I wrong!
I decided to be committed and use the product according to the instructions: twice a day for 30 days. The first thing I notices after only a couple days was how amazing the oil control mattifier is. I always moisturize, but have a problem with oily skin. I used to be shiny by lunchtime. And not the 'dewy sexy shiny', more like the 'I need to wipe this off' kind of shiny. With the mattifier, even by the end of the day I was still practically oil free. I have recommended it to every one I know.
I really love the cleanser. It makes your face feel refreshes. It has a very nice cooling sensation when you use it. I am on day 20 and I have noticed a difference in clarity. I have had 3 or 4 pimples, but no breakouts. I used the acne spot treatment and they cleared up. My pores are noticeably smaller.
I have not tried the clarifying mask yet, but I plan to soon. If it works like the rest I know I won't be disappointed.
I would recommend this product to everyone. No only because it works for me, but because when you want to try something new you don't want to feel like you wasted your hard earned money. For less than $40 it's worth giving it a shot, even if it doesn't end up working for you.

Quick Take: travel-friendly
I'm two weeks into using Murad, and it is BRUTAL! My skin has never, ever been this broken out. I'll stick with it, because I've read this purge is normal, but I do not recommend this for anyone sensitive about their skin/appearance. I'm well past my high school years, but I would have to say my skin was even better then than it is right now.

After reading many reviews, I expected this system to work, but I saw very little results. I used this system religiously everyday for the entirety of the bottles. It took almost 4 weeks to see results, and by the time I was done with the bottles, I saw very little improvement.
I have combination skin, and I don't have too much of an acne problem, just a few breakouts here and there. I was surprised to see this product didn't clear it. On a positive point, I did like how the cleanser made my skin feel. It was kind of a minty fresh feeling.

Ive began using it 9 months ago after a Sephora consultant recommended I stop using ProActive because its deteriorating my skin (which I totally agreed with but I had nothing better to try). The first 2 weeks- I CRIED!!! I was at my lowest with acne full blown, in places I never had it before... but I stuck with it, in hopes that something had to give and this product is just initiating the cycle.
SO GLAD I DID! Currently the only blemishes i get are 1-2 weeks before my cycle begins and the blemishes are because i cant stand seeing my face w even a single spot on it now, so i mutilate them. I recommend 100%. It took 2 months to see 70% clarity... just STICK WITH IT, its worth it.
PS it makes ur overall skin complexion healthy and glowing, it has firmed and made more pores nearly invisible too, and at 32 my skin looks young again.

So when I got this I was so excited to try it because I had heard so many good things about it!! Let me say my skin purged for THREE WEEKS!! I was almost about to give up on this, because it was just break out after break out after break out!!! I was freaking out because I was betting so much acne, and I was mad because I thought this was supposed to be amazing!
But soon after that third week I kid you not my skin looked so good! There was no more acne and it was so awesome! I was so pleased and I'm so happy that I didn't give up on it! Sure there were some acne scars, but it was noting I couldn't handle. Trust me this stuff works, just give it time!!!
btw: this product lasted me two months except for the SPF moisturizer, that I had to buy a separate one for. And another thing is that once I stopped using it my skin still looked good. Wow I was impressed.

I used this product in desperation because my skin would not clear up! I tried proactive, clean and clear, jafra and nothing seemed to work. I went to Sephora and tried this because my friend recommended to me. My skin cleared up in a week of using it!!! I still get occasional zits but my itchy, red, severe, acne is under control. Love this product!

I absolutely love this product line. I suffer from cystic acne (hormone related) and with the help of a low does bc and this product, I'm almost breakout free. I still have a few acne scars but I can't remember the last time I actually got a pimple that lasted more than a day. I have normal/combination skin and I saw that some girls had problems with this drying out their skin but mine was perfectly fine. Definitely worth a try...I've spent way more experimenting on drug-store products and for $35 my skin is clear.

Disappointed

I have been using this kit for over a month now and have seen no improvement in my skin. If anything, I feel that I have more frequent breakouts than before. Very disappointed by this system.
The one thing I do like, and will probably order full size of, is the moisturizing lotion. It doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy, which a lot of moisturizers do.

I get acne mostly around the time of my period, so it's not often. But man, it's annoying when the pimples pop up overnight without warning! I had been eyeing this kit for some time, but I waited until I could use a coupon. I finally did, and I wish I bought this sooner.
I have used Proactiv (too harsh on my skin), prescription antibiotic gel (works but not good for the long-term), and many other facial washes aimed toward acne control. They work, but not as effective as the Murad kit. I have been using it for about a week now, and my skin is looking a lot better than before. My skin tone is even, and I'm not dry at all. Nor am I oily. The acne spot treatment is VERY strong; I overdid it the first 3 days and the skin was peeling around my pimples. I learned my lesson and eased off of it a bit.
Another great thing about this set is aside from the treatment gel (that one smells like glue to me), the rest of it smells pretty nice. Most acne gels and washes smell awful to me, but overall the set has a nice light scent or no scent at all, depending on what you are using.
I don't like spending a lot on facial care, but I think Murad is worth it.

I just got this in the mail yesterday. I have only used it twice but so far I love it. I used it last night before bed and when I woke up my face still felt fresh. You can feel it working when you use the cleanser. So far so good.
