As someone who isn't into foundation but wants something to even out my sometimes-spotchy and uneven skin, I absolutely adore this tinted moisturizer. Lasts me about two months (maybe longer?) but still quite the investment. However, the coverage is even and it adapts to my skin tone, plus provides easy SPF protection and a good amount of moisture -- haven't found anything better than this product! I typically cut the sponge in half immediately to get the most use out of it, but have to use at least 1-2 other LM sponge halves, purchased separately, before I run out of product. I'm always nervous to try to LM products because I know they are going to be the best and I'll be paying the money to keep it in my regimen indefinitely.

Using it but still not sure about it. It's very creamy, does provide coverage. My nose has been breaking out a little bit since using it, so I'm not sure if its the cream, or my own hormones ;)

I wasn't sure about something so sheer, however it is smooth and easy to wear. Great option for an errands and stuff, but a little too dewy and lightweight for my usual look.

Quick Take: sheer coverage, lightweight
I love this product! I do not have smooth, even skin, and do not like to go out without at least a bit of coverage. This product gives me a nice light finish, without looking like I am fully made up. But it really does cover flaws! I use it for days when I am just running errands, or doing other low-maintenance activities. I do not believe that it contains an SPF, so I use a good SPF sunscreen first.

I use to use her loose powder.. but started feeling kind of flacky. The girls at Sephora tried this on me and I fell in LOVE. BEST TINTED COMPACT EVER I WOULD NOT USE ANYTHING ELSE. Worse part sooo many people use the color sand they are always out so I go from store to store looking for it I do not mind because I love my POINTS ha!!!

Quick Take: lightweight, great coverage
I got a small sample of this and it sat with my others samples unused for months. I finally tried it and couldn't believe how amazing it was! It seriously doesn't feel like you have makeup on at all. It has amazing coverage, as good as most foundations I've tried and it feels so much better on your skin. I didn't want to pay the full price for a full size one once I ran out, but I finally broke down and did. The full size one is very big, and since you need so little product, I think it's going to last me awhile. I don't put anything over it, except at my lunch time oily skin touch ups. Bottom line it is pricey, but since I can cut out two products (foundation and power) it mostly evens out cost wise. I will buy this again when mine runs out.

I was told by friends to get this but never really got one until I received the trial size. This product goes so smooth and I always get compliments. I am Asian and extremely oily with acne every now and then. I never had a problem with this moisturizer, in fact, I am on my second compact. I just love it!

I upgraded to Laura Mercier's Creme Compact from a Loreal product, and I have no regrets! This lovely compact provides beautiful, elegant, and flawless coverage. It's a bit pricey (think $40/month), but totally worth it for perfect skin.

Bought this for business travel as I try to get as many non liquid replacements as possible. I didn't expect the same results as the liquid but I hoped for something close. While this provided good coverage, it left my face looking like I had a bunch of makeup on. Not a look I like at all. Too bad as Laura Mercier is usually top notch.

I received a sample size of this creme moisturizer AND FELL IN LOVE with the product -- I received compliments on how great my complexion looked. So, I splurged and purchased the compact. First off, for $45, the compact itself is CHEAP - first disappointment -- I'm talking, I can't throw it in my purse because it's so flimsy, it will break. Secondly, the formula is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than what I sampled (what the heck?!). While it does have great coverage for a tinted moisturizer, this left streaks that were completely unable to blend (I think the color was even a little different) and is way too thick in consistency for my oily skin. This is NOT a lightweight product!
What was in that sample, LM? Because that's the product I want! In the meantime, I like LORAC's tinted moisturizer in the tube, and THAT is worth the splurgy pricetag.
