I tried the original smashbox primer, and it made my skin oilier than it already is. This one is so great, and makes your make up look flawless. It thick but doesn't go on heavy. It's just over all great.

I was hoping this would be more luminescent, but I have liked it the best of all the primers I've sampled lately. I have used That Gal by Benefit in the past and I loved the way it soaked in my skin vs. sitting on top of it, but I wanted its luminizing effect to be more pronounced. That's kind of the same situation with this product. It's a richer product, but it fills my pores a little better than That Gal. Hmmmm . . . I'm glad this came in a smaller option so if I didn't like it, I wouldn't have spend a lot of money on it.

I had high hopes for this primer but was let down. I'm glad I only purchased the small $19 bottle. I should have listen to the other reviews when they said it was thick. This was definitely a thick creme and when I put it on it felt clumpy and didn't evenly distribute. Although my face feels smooth to the touch like there's light baby powder it also feels SUPER DRY! I live in a state where it's always dry so I need moisture. My foundation didn't go on as smooth either. I'm going to finish the bottle and never use this again! There are other primers out there that's cheaper and way better!!!

Quick Take: evens out skintone, lightweight, smoothing
This is my favorite primer at the moment. I use it prior to my Givenchy foundation and it last all day. Sometimes I need to blot in the middle of the day, but so do I when using other products. It doesn't break me out ether. I noticed my skin is really smooth after using it (especially in comparison to other primers).

I have tried countless primers, and this beats them all! i'm always switching around my foundation and my primers to see what works this best and this is definitely my favorite. i have incredibly dry skin and i find this doesn't make me too matte, or cause flaking. my makeup literally stays on all day, no matter the foundation i'm wearing. it's light weight, and has the consistency of a moisturizer. i don't quite have fine lines or wrinkles yet so i'm not sure if it works well as a filler or not. a little bit of this definitely goes a long way! ask for a sample if you're unsure before buying; you'll fall in love!

I was more than excited to try this product but was ultimately disappointed. I have very dry skin and this product only made it dryer. It caused my foundation and powder to settle in the creases in my face. I would not recommend these for those with dry skin.

I use all Givenchy products, and this product is a staple. makes skin look like velvet after foundation is applied. I have sensative skin, this does no harm. MUST try, I got it in the small size and ended up getting full size within a week. soooo beyond worth it!

I love this primer because not only does it help my foundation stay-put all day, but it actually moisturizes my skin so the foundation looks better. It also smoothes fine lines and evens out my skin so I get better results from my makeup. I love this! I bought full size and a small Beauty to go size to keep in my purse. :-)
