Love the NEW scent. It baffles me how no one mentioned the re formulation. It's completely different from the 2002 addict This 2012 re formulation is excellent. Love it! Only has a few notes. Silk flower mandarin wood. Night flower and vanilla.

I love it, but husband did not like it

Quick Take: travel-friendly, good value
This perfume is very sweet and luxurious, but it is much too strong for my husband's liking, so I'm afraid I'll have to return it. But I love it - it has a very rich, deep musk to it, and it lasts on clothes for weeks (on the type of clothes you don't wash after every use - coats and cashmere sweaters.)

I love this!! It is my absolute favorite. Although I think it is a little heavy for day there is NOTHING better for night. I always receive the most compliments when I wear it especially men. They go crazy for it. I will always make sure I have a bottle on my dresser.

I adore the fantastic fragrance that Dior's Addict Eau de Parfum changes on my skin throughout the day. Even though I am fighting a critical illness, I still want to feel sexy, alive and like a normal healthy woman. It is a fabulous aroma therapy for me and I feel like my self before my illness. Loved it before and finally broke down and said to self, " Get it....feel fabulous again." I don't wear it every day, trying to use it on the down days....and it works. Thank you Sephora for the great prices. Let's me get my special treats on my budget. Addict makes you feel beautiful, sexy, and I'm 'dancing my way through my life fighting to stay that way.' Now that's power!!!! :)

I have been using Dior Addict for several years. It is/was my absolute favorite, but for the last 2 years I have not been able to find my Addict. They have changed it up and I am very disappointed. The new scent is gone within minutes of using it. Not happy with this newer version. Please bring back the old version, Please !!!

This is my favorite fragrance of all time! It's very seductive, and I've gotten a lot of compliments from men on because of it. The vanilla really comes through after it has been on for a few hours. A friend once told me that it smelled like cake on me. I don't find it heavy, but it really stays on. It lasts all day and into the evening. I have smelled it on myself the next day! Amazing fragrance! A Romantic and Seductive must have!

There is no perfume in the whole world to match it,... It is over powering, but it is like divine, and men loves it.. You want to attract any creature on earth, go ahead try this...you will feel like a goddess or queen or princess or whatever... who cares..
My god when I wear I can feel men drooling over me,... Trust me, unknowingly I wore it in my hair at night after washing, one of my friend who saw me at grocery store next day stopped me to ask what I was wearing and he loved it.. No one ever tells stuffs like that to me since I look too uptight for flirting. When I wear this, several men have complemented me.. I really love this.

This starts out very, very powdery and strong. After a half hour, the vanilla breaks through and remains throughout the entire wear. The powder with vanilla smells soft and coy, but as the powder gradually lessens, the vanilla becomes sweeter and stronger to the point of nausea. I end up keeping my wrist away from me just so I don’t gag over the sweet, sticky, syrupy vanilla smell.
Around the 90 minute mark, the sandalwood and tonka bean finally mix with the vanilla, making it warmer and alluring and, yes, sexier. It’s still smells sweet, but at least it doesn’t smell like syrupy vanilla. My nose doesn’t catch any of the floral middle notes. It’s like the vanilla just jumped forward, snuffed out and smothered any floral trying to pop out, and then had to wait for the other base notes to catch up. I do like oriental fragrances with a nice dose of warm vanilla, so I actually really really like the tonka bean, sandalwood, and vanilla mixture--very inviting and delicious! There’s something about the initial powdery opening that reminds me of JPG Classique (without the star anise), and there’s something about the vanilla/blackberry dry down that reminds me of Hanae Mori Hanae Mori.
Sillage is impressive, and maybe overly so! In other words, I would worry more about nauseating others around me before I worry that the scent trail isn't strong enough. It also lasts for several hours. Overall, I’m a fan of the dry down, but not the first couple of hours—too powdery and sweet for my taste. I think it is best used in cooler weather and evening. It’s warm, deliciously sweet, and sexy, but I'm not in love enough to buy a full bottle.

Love love this perfume, I was using TF orchid, but this one really stays all day. This is the perfect size for traveling and/or road trips. Its rich and great scent for all year round. I live in CA so this is a great perfume for office and going out.
