Definitely an improvement

I live in South FL where the water is pretty awful. It comes out of the faucet a light yellow/green color so I know it drops color deposits in my hair plus all sorts of other chemicals and minerals. I installed this and had a plumber remove the water reducing o-ring and its perfect. Haven't had to change the filter yet, so can't commment on that. But my hair is softer and my skin isn't so dry. Naturally my husband can't tell a difference but he doesn't have long, chemically processed hair, lol. I think it was a good purchase but this is the first time I have used a water filter in the shower. Sidebar - i notice the glass shower door is now clear and doesn't get clouded up from the hard water deposits.

Makes my hair soft and if I skip a shower (because I shower every day) my scalp doesn't start to stink. Worth the investment. I tried to get cheaper ones at Home Depot but they would decrease my water pressure.

i'm writing this because this product has saved my hair and skin. i've had about 6 weeks now and it's made a huge difference. we moved to cali about 9 weeks ago and the water is bad. i was a pizza faced brillo pad hair girl and got desperate. this item has saved me! i'm dreading replacing the filter because of other reviews but i will deal when the time comes.

So before I moved to Hamilton Ontario three years ago my hair was in great health: shiny, strong, and soft. But after these past three years my hair became super unhealthy: it felt like straw, it was unbearable to comb and it was just a complete nightmare and any product I used to help fix it wouldn't work. So I did research on the city's water supply and I found that chlorine is being used...the main cause of unhealthy hair!
So I purchased this filter hoping it'll do the trick: and ...OMG!
Aaammmaazzzing! I got out of the shower and my hair was super soft after my first shower! And I didn't have the tight skin feeling either! I am very pleased with everything about this shower head! The pressure and the settings are very good and to unscrew the top half to replace the filter is pretty easy.

I purchased this product a week ago and I'm already in love.
After showering with this shower head, my hair (naturally curly, thick, and dry) felt much softer.
I've noticed my hair has more shine to it then before, and when I left my hair air dry it doesn't get as frizzy as it normally would.
I also noticed that my skin (face and body) didn't feel as dry and tight as it normally does.
Before getting this shower head, when stepping out of the shower, moisturizer was immediately needed or I would feel dry for the rest of the day.
This is no longer necessary.
I recommend trying this product despite the price.
If you feel it doesn't work, simply return it for a full refund.
However, I would recommend that if you don't notice a difference, try your old shower head before returning it.
Sometimes you don't notice the difference until it's gone.

After moving to Florida, I really noticed a difference in my hair due to the water. I am so happy that I purchased this filter because I feel more confident! Before this filter my hair was brittle and dull.. After I washed my hair for the first time with the T3 installed I noticed a tremendous difference. There was no water pressure change for me and I love all of the various spray settings the shower head offers.

Quick Take: true to it's description
I live in Katy, Texas- where not only do we have chlorine in our water, but formaldehyde too. Since we installed this shower head I have noticed a huge change in my skin and hair. My skin no longer smells like chlorine-- which even after lotion before-- you could smell.
It has improved my hair and skin....
As far as installation goes- took about 3 minutes. We love the varying flows....

Although, the main draw back in the decrease in water pressure. This shower head has several different settings for the flow, but all have a lot less pressure than the normal shower head. It is also quite big and bulky, but I that doesn't matter too much to me.
The positives outweigh the negatives I believe. All in all, I believe this shower head filter does do what it advertises as far as improving the health of your skin and hair!

I had to return this as the showerhead is so heavy it could not be adjusted (moved up or down). I had a few friends come over and try to fix it or adjust it, but without luck. I think it is an amazing idea, but the weight is a problem for some showers.

This shower head is fantastic. I noticed a difference in the way my skin and hair felt after one use (no more 'tight' skin post shower). I've had it for about a month now and I think the biggest change has been in my hair. I've had extremely oily hair my entire life and, because of this, it's usually weighted down and flat looking. I always try to go two days without washing my hair so I don't dry it out, but on the second day it would look like I had dipped my head into a pot of grease. Since using this shower head, I've been able to go four days without washing it and it still doesn't look disgusting. As some others have said, it feels like shampoo and conditioner both go in and wash out easier. My hair has had tons more volume and I love it! My skin hasn't felt any softer to me, but it has cleared up a lot. I'm not completely sure how much this has to do with the shower head, but I haven't changed anything else in my diet, shower routine, etc. I have always had a problem with acne on my back and have never been able to find a diet, body wash, or medication to help. Since using this shower head, my skin is pretty much completely clear.

liked the reults on my hair, the flow was too heavy no matter what setting it was on. Could not unscrew it to check the filter even when new. Had to return it. Even the manager of the store couldn't get it apart. Could tell she didn't believe me-until she tried to open it herself. Filter indicator is on the inside of the head!

I can not speak highly enough of this filter. T3 has caught on to something.... a lot of people live in Urban areas where water is significantly hard. We're so used to it, we don't know otherwise. As soon as you put a filter on your shower head, you will see a LARGE difference in the feel of your hair. I'm not sure how this shower head compares to others, because I've only tried this one... but after two hair washes, my hair was significantly bouncier and less weighed down. It used to always feel like I didn't get all of the shampoo out, and I read this is an effect of hard water. This showerhead saved my hair. Spend the extra money, you won't regret it. When I purchase beauty products, I always read the reviews and go by them. So whenever I decided to write one... it's because I highly suggest something.

I have been filtering my shower water for about 5 years now. I can tell the technology has been improving, but this is a giant leap! I was happy with my last filter, but when I read this was clinically proven, I had to buy it!
First off, its so so so so so much more simpler then privious filters. You simply replace ur showerhead. There was no purging of the water, no buckets to catch the first few gallons, no mess. I was floored with the way my hair and skin felt after the 4th shower.
I waited a while to write this review. Its been almost a month, and I still feel like im getting improved results! You have got to get this!

I have only had this for a couple of weeks but I can really tell the difference in my and my daughter's hair since I installed it. Much softer, less frizzy, and shampoo and conditioner rinse out much faster.And installed it in about 3 minutes.Highly recommend !
