Quick Take: brightening, evens skin
I don't write reviews often, but so far my experiences with the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare has been amazing. I have extremely sensitive, olive skin with hyper-pigmentation and acne scars. I've felt my complexion has been dulling in my 30's. So I purchased his sensitive skin daily two step peel and got this as it recommended this for after the peel. I am amazed. My skin has been so even, I've stopped getting the cystic acne that's been plaguing my skin, and my skin has a glow again. I will seriously never stop using this product. Well worth the $$ and it's lasted me quite some time. Try it!

I followed this product's instructions to the letter, and my skin absolutely freaked out- itchy, burning, red, bumpy. I had to go into damage-control mode and even resorted to regular old calamine lotion. Perhaps it was an allergic reaction, or perhaps my skin is just too sensitive for this, but I paid way too much money just to have my complexion ruined for two weeks.

Good...but expense

Quick Take: hydrating
I have used this product since December 2012.
First off, I have not noticed ANY difference in my scars (I have a small on on top of my lip). Also, it has not faded any of my sun spots either.
On bright side (no pun intended) it does brighten my complextion and it absorbs nicely.
I am not sure I will repurchase, as I think there are better products out there that do what they claim to do.

This solution has really helped even my skintone by fading dark sun spots and blemish scars. It also doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It's a bit pricy but worth it. My skin looks fresher and brighter.

My skins has more of a glow since purchasing this serum! Have definitely noticed a difference in my acne spots/freckles. have also noticed that it has diminished my fine lines as well! will be purchasing again and again...

The only reason why I am giving this product 4 stars is because i have only been using it for 2 weeks so obviously I wont see major change but I have. I am a avid user of Dr. Dennis Gross products. They do work and this is NOT a lie. I have olive/medium skin and at times I suffer from acne which leave dark spots or scars. Because of my usage of Dr. Dennis Gross Extra Strength Peel combine with this I have seen a vast improvement in my complexion plus I barely breakout. My dark spots are fading and my skin looks so much better. I highly do recommend this product.

Quick Take: amazing, effective, easy to use, multiple good ingredients
Dermatologists recommend that you pair three ingredients to improve your skin, retinol, ferulic acid and licorice. This has all three and adds in a few extra goodies for good measure. Retinol is one of the few ingredients actually proven by good science to be great for anti-aging. It is also effective for gradually lightening blemish scars and for clearing up acne. But there are a few things to remember when using it.
1. ALWAYS USE SUNSCREEN. It will actually not work if you don't protect your skin from the sun. Instead of reversing damage, you may make it worse
2. Don't use it during the day.
3. Understand that it takes a lot of time for you to get results. It is the closest thing there is to a magic ingredient, but it does not work overnight.

I have been using this product 2-3 times per week for a month, and my skin is really looking flawless, brighter, and clear! Even before applying any makeup my skin looks amazing! I have also been applying this over my Proactive without any sensitivity! Love it and this product seems like it will last quite a while!

This product works ok. I've been using it twice a day for about a month.
The good - it absorbs well and helps with fine lines.
The bad - it causes more breakouts.
I will not be buying this again...... instead I will go back to Glow by Dr. Brandt Overnight Resurfacing Serum as it helps with breakouts so much better than this product does.

I've been using this for about 2 weeks, twice a day. I have a very oily skin but this serum absorbs really quickly and it doesn't make my face greasy. I haven't seen any improvement on my post acne dark spots yet.

Based on all the reviews of this product (and the fact that it has retinol) i purchased it for the purpose of FADING my acne spots/scars. Unfortunately after over FOUR Weeks of twice daily use, my acne scars are exactly the same (I even took before & after pics and compared them extensively). It also DID NOT prevent future break outs as a lot if others said it did. The one thing it did which I am NOT mad about is NOTICEABLY fade/ diminish my fine lines greatly woohoo! I would give it 5 stars but basically like i said it didnt fade any spots or prevent breakouts but it DID FADE FINE LINES (especially in my forehead) for sureeeeee!

Quick Take: expensive
I have been using this product twice a day for two weeks and I don't notice anything different. The spots on my skin have not faded at all and I don't see any improvement on my skin's texture or fine lines. I hope that it just takes more time since I spent so much money on this product. I can't understand why this product got so many great reviews, it really misled me.
The only good thing I can write is that it did not dry out my skin and did not cause an allergic reaction of any kind.

Quick Take: brightening, correcting
I'm 41 and very fortunate to have always had great skin. But I started noticing a few dark spots from sun exposure and just starting to get the slightest wrinkle around my eyes. I started using this product and within a week could tell a difference. The dark spots are fading and it's almost like it made the wrinkles stop before they started. Awesome product! Makes my skin feel incredible.
