I have tried every mascara.. This one gives me the most Dramatic lashes. I don't wear it daily... I will wear Benefit, but when I want my eyes to look sexy amazing, Hypnose Star is my go to mascara..

Quick Take: volumizing, clumpy, thick, heavy, irritating
This formula is even heavier than Hypnose, it's simply too thick for fine lashes. I guess I see the Betty Boop connection... I looked like I had 5 big cartoon eyelashes, clumped together. Also the most irritating mascara I have ever used. My eyes were still puffy and burning the next day. I'll give it a couple stars because it was well pigmented and didn't flake, and someone with coarse lashes might appreciate the thick formula. If you have fine lashes, go with a lighter formula like Definicils or Precious Cils.

Quick Take: volumizing, lengthening
I have tried almost every mascara Sephora has to offer and other than Nars Larger Than Life, this is my favorite. Its black is bold and rich and it volumizes and lengthens. I use an eyelash curler before applying and this mascara holds the curl. You can't not love this mascara!

I really like this mascara because it is has a nice curvy volume. My eyelashes are short so I need a mascara exactly like this, making the eylashes longer, with more volume and curves.

Nice one, but it makes lumpy pieces on my lashes, I have to keep brushing to remove them.. thick one comparing to other Lancome mascaras

Love Lancôme, but this wasn't what I thought it would be.... For me, there wasn't anything magical in comparison to any other mascara. The other bummer was that it would flake off my lashes into my face, and I don't even wear that much!

Quick Take: volumizing, lengthening, holds curl
I've used many mascaras, including Diorshow, Benefit's They're Real, etc, and I like them all. But I LOVE Lancome's Hypnose Star! It gives great volume and length, which can be hard combo to find. What sealed the deal was how well the curl holds! I curl my lashes at 8:30am every morning (I'm party of the 9-5 routine!) and they still have the same shape by happy hour. I recommend giving it a try. I doubt you'd be disappointed!

I love this mascara. People always ask me if I have fake eyelashes on when I am wearing it - it really extends your lashes that much and makes them thicker. I also love the brush shape.

I just received this mascara as part of a gift with purchase and I love it. Super lengthening and volumizing, and it does not bother my sensitive eyes. I bought doll lashes but I will purchase this one instead next time.

PROS:
1) Good lash separation and definition.
2) Good pigment.
3) Doesn't make lashes look spidery.
4) The mascara's somewhat build-able.
5) Makes lashes look thicker and longer,,but not in an extreme way...if that's what u are looking for. It's quite similar to the Hypnose.

CONS:
1) It smears under your eyes before mid-day. I would expect more from a $28 mascara, without having to resort to the waterproof version. For this smearing reason, I will continue to search for a better mascara.

I'd been struggling to find a good mascara, one that doesn't clump, but still darkens the lashes enough, and curls, as well. This one does it for me, very nice brush design, darkens lashes easily, but no clumping. It's a winner!

Quick Take: a waste of time and money
I think that te brush design was unique, but there was way too much product left on the brush when removing it from the tube....perhaps the inner chamber could mimic the brush shape...anyway, it took fat too long to clean off the excess. Even so, it left clumps. I returned it.
