Nice color
-05.22.13
Quick Take: moisturizing, flavored
Although its moisturizing, when it fades my lips feel dry so you have to keep applying over and over, which I don't have to with the bite products. The color is pretty opaque and really pretty.

Love
-05.14.13
Quick Take: pigmented, comfortable, natural
Yes it is sticky but I don't think it is a problem. The color reminds me of Dolly from bare escentuals. But it is all natural! The color is a nice subtle pink thati like to pair with a bold or colorful eye. I have bought several lipsticks from the line. I am always eating and always need to re apply so I love, love, love the fact that it is all natural and feels good. Plus it doesn't have the sort of medical smell that non natural glosses seem to have. Unless another comparable natural line comes out this line of products is what i am going to use for daily wear. I can see how the packaging and the viscous nature of this product could be an issue. But I've read because it is natural you can put it in the microwave for a few second. I'm thinking letting it sit in hot water should work just as well.

I love this!
-05.13.13
Quick Take: moisturizing, smells good, sticky, rich color
It is pretty thick and sticky but you get use to that
it smells great and it looks beautiful on my skin! I purchased the Gamay color.
I love the ingredients that are suppose to be good for you,
I'm not sure if this actually is true or not but I have noticed a difference in the appearance of my lips they usually are really flaky and dry and after using this they have improved. I also know that with other "natural" or "organic" lip products that I have used in the past, my lips get worse! they feel even more dry and I have to constantly apply! that is not the case with this lip gloss, it is very long lasting as well. I will def. purchase again.

Chianti
-04.30.13
Hmmmm...... notice how Chianti is sold out Bite Beauty? Chianti that just happens to be the closest thing to Vintage... the color that you discontinued??? Chianti is decent, the texture of the shine gloss is better. I find Chianti honey lip lacquer to be a bit more sticky and therefor a little less comfortable to wear that the shine gloss. Not unwearable, you just notice you have it on (which makes me smoosh my lips around more which means this gloss has less staying power for me). It is a good gloss and a nice wearable neutral color, but it gets 4 stars because the sine gloss was my HG lip product and this doesn't quite measure up.

Like it!
-04.29.13
I really like this Lip Lacquer. I originally ordered it in Chianti which ended up to be to brown a tone for me so I exchanged it for Valencia. Valencia is the right color for me, light, neutral and very pretty. I thing you could wear this over almost any lipstick shade. You don't need much, just a thin layer over you lipstick.

Awful product!
-04.13.13
Quick Take: tacky, dried out
It's horrible! It's very tacky and takes many applications to do anything to the lips. It's almost as if my product is already dried out. I'm so unhappy with it, I'm going to return it.

Long Lasting
-04.13.13
Like most lip glosses, this is a bit sticky but it lasts all day long. I only need to reapply after I've been eating or drinking. For a gloss, the color is really rich-much more opaque than any other glosses I've used. The smell is weird but not unpleasant. Would buy in more colors.

Gamay
-04.05.13
This particular color is one of the best I've encountered in a lip gloss; very flattering for a >45 year old woman, a nice pinky-rose and not too shimmery or shiny. It's a little sticky but it's not a deal breaker for me. I only wish the staying power was better, as it seems to wear off quite quickly. I wish YSL could make this color in their awesome lip gloss.

I never buy the same thing twice, but I cannot live without this product on my lips. I just coaxed the last trace out of the container in the microwave and am ordering two. Nothing else puts the right warm rose and glossy finish on!

feels like glue
-03.02.13
Quick Take: tacky
I bought the bright pink color. It is beautiful on, the right amount of shine and not too bright. However, it felt like glue on my lips! So tacky they were stuck together. Ended up.exchanging for a different brand. Too bad, because the color was beautiful!

Beautiful, rich color
-02.09.13
Quick Take: moisturizing, flavored, rich color, sticky
Love the color of "Aurora". Great rich red color, but not too harsh for a blonde/light complexion. Red enough for a stand-out color pop, but not a gaudy, take over your face brightness.
A little sticky...but I guess that's because it's made with pure honey...and I LOVE that's it's made with so many natural ingredients!
Very moisturizing, feels great on, with a little bit of sweetness :)

Aurora Apple Red- Fair Skin-Review vs YSL
-02.06.13
Quick Take: moisturizing, flavored, cute, rock n roll, pigmented, sticky, high quality, small
I purchased Aurora. I have very fair skin and was looking for a kind of Snow White contrast and scored! This color was great! A little sticky, but he pigment stayed on a long time. I will admit its not as great as the YSL version which lasts longer and is not as sticky (But much pricier).
There is also kind of a problem getting the gloss on the applicator as mentioned before (Same with YSL). You have to kind or turn the applicator around in it at an angle but you don't need much so its not too bad of a problem and also you have to press hard and turn to get it to spin closed properly, its a kind of hydraulic effect... However, it does have me worried how much product is actually in the container for the price.
The YSL version "Yves Saint Laurent ROUGE PUR COUTURE Vernis À Lèvres Glossy Stain" I purchased in "COLOR 9 Rouge Laque" Is a much brighter, sparkly red... Has an easier application, a more shimmery first application and a matte finish after it wears off. But this one has a better flavor, a darker more Snow - White like almost but not vampy color and also long staying power. Its also much cheaper. They are apples and oranges I suppose I love them both. I think I'm a bigger fan of the Bite Lip Pencil''s especially "Pomegranate" and will have to call YSL winner on the staining lip lacquer for now on quality...
But then again Bite is 99 percent natural... So its better for you and the environment. I guess its what your true preferences are. I hope this was helpful. Both of these gloss/stain containers are small for the price. I wish they came larger in a more mascara like size like Kat Von D's Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick which according to some people is better than these both. I'll have to try and see!

This is my new obsession when it comes to lip gloss/laquer. It's so rich, stays forever and comes in BEAUTIFUL flattering colors. I'm currently using Cardinal and its the perfect late winter color but will work great in the spring too!

-01.19.13
Quick Take: not worth the $, a pretty big disappointment
I liked the actual gloss, but it's impossible to get enough product on the spongy applicator, it's a prcess getting your lips totally covered!
