Buying this set was a nice way to try a few colors, unfortunately I only ended up with one which I could wear, the other 2 were much too pale for me, especially against my pale skin. But nice quality product I would purchase again. The color lasts a long time and the product feels very nice on your lips

Quick Take: not as pictured, creamy, good quality, saturated
i bought the bite lip layers in the bold colors and i loved them so much when i saw this trio i knew i had to have it. i have the bite lip library so i compared how the lipsticks would look to the shades in the books and ordered them. i was so excited to get these lipsticks and then when i tried them on i was soo dissapointed. restina and cava gave me that zombie look that others on here have talked about. pepper was amazing. and the quality and size is great. but i dont want to have spent this money for just one lipstick. im really let down by this product but i did give 2 stars for quality, size, and value. bite is a great company but i will be sadly returning these this weekend.

Quick Take: easy for all to wear.
These colors are true to the description. All skin tones can wear them. Also, you can easily alter the color with a lip pencil. Glad I got them. They're a great staple for any makeup bag.

Quality at an amazing price

I may come back to add the 5th star when I wear the lighter shades with Spring and Summer make-up color schemes. Right now in Winter, Pepper is a perfect shade. Bite is creamy lipstick with no funny perfumes or chemical taste. The caveat is that it needs to be reapplied frequently, but I prefer that to parched lips with remnants of color. Even when the color wears down, I noticed that you get none of the orangey stain. The color remains true (as a lighter version) when faded.

If you're a neutral lip stick girl then these colors are great! It's not moisturizing so be sure to apply something to your lips a couple mins before you apply the lip color.

I absolutely LOVE this Bite trio! I am the envy of all of my friends with the stylish colors. My lips appear much smoother since applying this line... an anti-wrinkle lips dream!!!!!! 5stars!

Beautiful, Moisturizing Shades

Quick Take: amazing value, creamy, nude
I love Bite lipsticks. They're incredibly moisturizing. This trio with colors Retsina, Cava, and Pepper is not for everyone. Both Retsina and Cava are really nude colors. I have fair skin with pretty pigmented lips. In order for Retsina and Cava to show up, I have to nude out my lip by either using a flesh colored liner or a pigmented lipstick to nude out my lip before applying Retsina or Cava. All in all, if you love the look of a nude lip and are willing to work for it a little bit, this is a great trio at a great price. My only con is that I don't find Bite lipsticks to be quite as long-lasting as some other brands.

Quick Take: nude
If you like to wear lipstick that no one can see then this would be a great match for you. If you think that lipstick should be seen, don't get this lipstick pack. I have other colors from them and like them. They do last 3-5 hours tops.

I LOVE Bite Beauty products so I got this set. Pepper is my FAVORITE of color that they offer since it's perfect day or night. The other two are really light, but if you like nudes they're great! This product is extremely creamy and definitely does not dry out your lips

I gave this set 4 stars because I absolutely love this lipstick and there is absolutely nothing negative to say about it. For me, however, the two lighter shades were entirely too pale and made my lips look pasty white. The "darker" shade, Pepper, is a perfect everyday neutral shade and I will be ordering it separately.

I had originally purchased the small sample pack of lip sticks and instantly fell in love with retsina. I've been trying to find a replacement for a Victoria secret lip tint that they stopped making and this is a winner! I love all the colors but cava and retsina are by far my favorites. Goes on smooth and really lasts. Can't wait to try more products from this line. Love the fact that its all natural and safe ingredients

Quick Take: worth the purchase
First, these lipsticks are every bit as amazing as I hoped they'd be, based on reviews. They're tasteless, moisturizing, and heavily pigmented without looking matte.
Second, The set is not exactly as pictured or described. It's referred to as "luminous," and the image supports that; the indication being that there is some sort of mica or shimmer/luminosity in the colors. Instead, they are creme type lipsticks, not at all metallic, which was disappointing. Also, the Retsina color is pictured as a peachy light brown, but really it is an intensely pale nude, every bit as pale as Cava, but more golden.
Third, the pepper color is really worth buying the set for. It's a gorgeous rosy neutral that would look good on pretty much anyone.
Finally, Cava gets a bad rap because of its lavender hue, which gives some people that zombie look. Not so with we fair-skinned folks. I wear a level 1 or 2 in most brands of foundation, and about a level 20 in Sephora brand, have level 6 light brown hair and grey eyes, and the Cava looks fabulous on me, especially when I wear charcoal grey and add a charcoal grey eyeliner.

Quick Take: tiny, overpriced, disappointing
The quality of the actual lipstick is fair. The lipstick goes on creamy at first and for 10 minutes feels very nice. However it seems to get dry quickly and becomes uncomfortable on the lip. The saturation of the color does not last long. Also the miniature size of the sticks is laughable for the price. I have never in my life bought such tiny lipsticks for this much money. The brand itself has a negative stigma with me, I'm scared to purchase another product from them.

I can definitely see how these shades might not be flattering to everyone, but I lucked out! I have a hard time finding lipstick that doesn't look horrible on me. All three of these shades look great. Cava is a cool nude with purple/blue undertones. Retsina is a neutral nude, warmer than Cava, but cooler than Pepper. Pepper is warm and rosy, and probably the most universally flattering shade. All three are super moisturizing and don't irritate my lips like other lipsticks. I'm tempted to buy a backup set at this great price, since I'd happily repurchase all three colors.

Cava is a bit cooler and purple-toned than I had expected from the photo, but I swatched in the store and was happy with it. This is a great deal and these lipsticks are wonderful. Now i have 4 total (the other being Cin Cin and I've used a friend's Apricot a few times) and I can say I'm in love with the brand. I'll keep using up other lip products I have, but everything from now on will be from Bite.

The colors were not as pictured and I definitely would not call them "universally flattering." Most of them had a purple or grey-ish undertone. I agree with another reviewer that these made her look ill - my boyfriend said that I looked like I had died and immediately returned them. However, I gave it 2 stars because I could tell that the lipstick itself was good quality. I would buy other products from this line but will be trying the colors on in store and won't be buying online.
