What it is:A toning complex that gently removes dead surface skin cells to help minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging. What it is formulated to do:This clarifying toner helps visibly decrease the look of pore size and smooth out rough skin texture. It effectively removes excess oil, dirt, and sebum, and restores skin to its natural pH allowing skin care products that are applied afterwards to penetrate better. Allantoin, chamomile, and aloe vera help soothe and protect skin from irritation, while sodium PCA leaves skin lightly and naturally moisturized. Formulated with glycolic acid at 10 percent, lactic acid, citric acid, and witch hazel, this product helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, leaving a healthier, younger-looking complexion. I can't believe Sephora doesn't carry this in my local store anymore!!! This is the best toner I have ever used. It does not dry, does not strip, and kills the spots that are trying to develop (can you believe that still happens at my age?!?)
I really recommend this product - a standby in my cabinet.

Quick Take: refreshing, acne treating
My skin started becoming oily and small blemishes were breaking out. I did a lot of research to find this product and it was worth it. My skin is completely baby soft and smooth again, non-oily during the day. It is worth the money. Wasn't over-drying to my skin but I always use a serum and moisturizer afterwards.

I read all the reviews and I decided to give this a try, I needed a toner and just recently started PTR line. I used it just now and it "tingled" there was some discomfort but, bareable. When I finished I looked at the cotton ball there was oil, dirt and my favorite part there was 3 whitehead on the cotton ball!!! I'm loving this so far...I will update this in a few weeks with results.

This was not too harsh for me, BUT I have been using harsh chemicals on my face for quite some time already. Thanks to those products, my skin is in pretty good shape, but I'm using this toner for the minimize pores, since that is what Jennifer Aniston's facialist says to do ; ) The only thing I don't like is how the product is dispensed, it comes out very quickly and works best with a cotton pad rather than a cotton ball so you can catch all the liquid as it comes out.

I did not like this product because it was too harsh on my skin. I have used Glycolic Acid toners before for everyday use but this one I could barely use twice a week. It gave me red patchy dry patches in several areas of my face. I stopped using it after 3 weeks because it did not agree with my skin. It may work better for someone who has dry flaky skin so that it exfoliates the dead skin off, but my skin is normal/sensitive.

Love it! I bought this toner after reading about the benefits of glycolic acid for keeping your pores clean. I've been using it daily on my face and chest for about 2 weeks; it has made my skin visibly healthier and smoother. It has also minimizes breakouts and clears them almost overnight. It is drying & does cause some peeling, which is fine as long as you moisturize & don't overuse it (a little goes a long way, 2x a day is probably too much). I love that my pores look smaller and my skin overall looks so healthy!

I believe that everyone should use a toner that suits their needs. With age prevention on my list, I love that this toner has all of these wonderful ingredients that help me maintain a healthy glow. It's great with exfoliating and keeping blemishes at bay.
I do get light peels and facials every 6-8 weeks, and though I've only been using this product for about a month, my esthetician is amazed that I have been able to maintain such great skin in between appointments (I had my latest appointment with her just last Fri).
This product can sting a bit. This has happened to me when there was water residue on my face after cleansing it. But I find that the best way to prevent this from happening is to wait until your face has dried after cleansing.
I would buy this product again.

Quick Take: effective, acne killer
This is definitely my favorite toner. Honestly, its probably not your everyday toner but, it definitely prevents breakouts and makes your skin super smooth and exfoliated. It kinda reminds me of the Proactiv toner but, this seems more concentrated. even though it isn't advertised as an acne product, its an absolute blemish killer!

I bought this along with the cleanser and moisturizer. my skin did seem to have a glow at first and I was loving these products but I can not handle the burning. My face still burned hours later! I have been using for a few weeks now and it is not getting better. I had to cut down to once a week. I probably will not buy again. But will repurchase the face wash.

I was hesitant to buy this because it seemed expensive but I can honestly say I'm surprised how much I love this. It's completely worth it! II'm prone to hyper pigmentation from exfoliating and this allows me to skip that. It exfoliates wonderfully. My skin glows, is really smooth, clear and best of all it's evening out my skin tone. My skin looks amazing! I can wear less makeup and still have flawless looking skin. I cannot say enough good things about it.

this thing is amazing. its the only thing that i bought from sephora that has really amazed me. within a week of using this the pores on my nose were not clog anymore and the pore size actually minimized. It does tingle on your face but nothing bad.It will last you a very long time so its worth the money! Luv this and would buy again!

Quick Take: non-drying, skin-brightening
I used this toner for a year or so when I was in college, and then it was suddenly no longer available, even from the manufacturer. I have been searching for a decent replacement ever since, and have found nothing quite as good as this PTR toner. I was ecstatic to find out this was back! I've been using it for the last 3 days and I can already see a major improvement in my skin. Yeah, it burns a little if your skin is more sensitive like mine is, but that's a small price to pay for the benefits.
My skin is brighter and smoother, my pores are smaller, and my fine lines on my forehead are all but gone. In 3 days. This product is fantastic. I would highly recommend it for anyone who is noticing or worried about signs of aging, even very small ones.

I have oily, acneic skin and I could say that I'm not very sensitive to most products. I am on day 2 and am loving this toner. I feel like the lactic and glycolic acid is like a mini peel. I can already tell it's neutralized redness in my skin and will be evening out the skin tone and imperfections. I only have 4 stars after first impressions, but hope it continues to impress. I only use it at night, let it sit for a few minutes and follow-up with a moisturizer like the SA suggested to neutralize the acid.
