I use this for travel sized, fit well in my purse, the mineral veil and brush are perfect for my purse, and who doesn't need more prime time anyway

This is a great little set. The primer is half of a full size and I like that its in a tube rather than the pump (that clogs). The mineral veil and brush are nice travel sizes that fits easily into my train case. The mini face brush works great when applying the mineral veil over my tinted moisturizer. Good value since you get a travel brush and a travel veil for a couple of dollars more than the primer alone ($23 for full sized primer).

LOVE this set! The primer makes my skin feel like silk, and the powder with the uber soft brush makes my skin glow with just the slightest bit of shimmer to fade redness and make my skin look flawless!

Quick Take: good value, travel size
This is a really tiny product, but really good. The primer really made an immediate difference. The finishing powder is light and airy and does exactly what it's supposed to do. The brush is small but very soft and good enough for the price.

Quick Take: travel size, small, insufficient
i really like the primer and the mineral veil. i am running out of the mineral veil, but it isn't sold alone on sephora.com, so i decided to buy this. in comparison with the bare minerals starting kit, the primer in this set is the same size but the mineral veil is tiny. the brush is also very small. i might use it for contouring, but there is no way i would use it to put on foundation. overall, i was disappointed by the incredibly small amount of the mineral veil in the set, as that is the product that i actually wanted.

This product seems very affordable and it comes with the mineral veil (which is not a concealer, you put it on after all of your makeup and it gives you a luminous airbrushed look) you could use a bisque powder as a concealer, which has worked well for me and / or their foundation is great. It also comes with the brush if you buy them separately it would definitely cost much more.

Quick Take: travel size
I was really excited when I found this product because I've always wanted to try bareMinerals. I have large pore and some acne and I decided to finally try a primer. This primer made my skin feel extremely soft but had no effect on my pores. I've tried other primers and they have worked a lot better. The powder didn't really do much either. I'm really disappointed with this product. The only positive side is that it kept my face from getting oily throughout my day.

The kit give you a lot of primer, it comes out of the bottle quick though so watch out! The brush is okay, I would've preferred more of a circular brush but it's okay. I haven't tried to powder yet, but it's a very good sized jar for taking to school, purse, etc.

powder & primer are GREAT. The brush, however, isn't. It's a little abrasive. I would think a company that's been built on brushing faces would design a softer brush.

I wanted to try Bare Minerals products for a while now. The primer is OK. . not great. But the powder is beautiful! I get such a beautiful glow finishing and setting my makeup. I will definetly purchase the mineral veil again.
