Quick Take: synthetic hair
I love the brush. The lid stays on the brush but it doesn't stay down like its suppose to. I have another one of the bareMinerals travel brushes but the brush is rounded. I have no problem with it. Thats why I chose to buy another one of this brand and not the sephora brand. I have a kabookie that I love but didnt want spend that much and its too big for my purse.But sephora has the same problem with its brush lids. The lil nipple needs to be bigger to keep the lid in place,it would be a really easy fix,if they just paid attention to it. Manufacturer defect I guess. Maybe by writing this they will get the hint.

Quick Take: i don't know
I like the brush a lot, I bought it to carry in my purse,that's why I bought one with a cover. Well the cover doesn't stay snapped down. Just like the Sephora brushes. I have another one from BareMinerals that does stay closed so I gambled and ordered another from them .... Well it doesn't stay in place but other than that the brush is great... I love the slant ....

Love this for Travel

I have been using this brush for a few weeks now and I really love it. It holds a lot of product, which makes it easy to get good coverage, but it blends very well so you don't have to worry about your makeup getting cakey or too heavy. The bristles are soft, and it's the perfect size for everyday or for travel. As many others have noted, the retractable part of the brush is a bit flimsy, but I don't expect it to break. I really enjoy this product.

Love the brush, but the handle is a little weak.
Have to be careful when using the brush as it holds alot of foundation powder. It is very good at evening out makeup.

Works but not for me

I bought this by accident thinking it was the retractable powder. I had just purchased the loose powder formula. It CAN be used for it but after returning it and getting a kabuki i realize that the kabuki is so much better for loose. I bet it is great for the ready foundation though

Quick Take: convenient
I have both the retractable and the full size precision face brush and they're both good. The retractable one is less full and fluffy, but it still does the job. Plus its a lot more convenient to carry around if you travel or need to store your brushes in a tight space. I keep this one in my purse for touch-ups and leave the full sized one at home.

While I like how it stores for travel and to keep the bristles protected, I find this brush to be too soft - it doesn't pick up enough powder. Definitely not worth the money.

I brought the brush because it's small and portable...However, I was very disappointed because its rather flimsy and cheap. The bristles are already bent, and the handle is moving around as if its going to break (I've only had it for 3 weeks).

Quick Take: synthetic hair, it's very soft
This brush was recommended when I purchased the new pressed powder Bare Minerals foundation. It works ok. It's very compact and easily used. The only problem is that it took a long time to get the makeup on my skin. I switched back to a small bookie brush that worked much quicker.

I love this brush! Although I do understand that it doesn't "feel" right like one of the reviewers mentions (compared to the full size brush) it does it's job. It's suppppppper soft and travel friendly. Highly recommend if you just want something to small to travel with and yet gives greatcoverage.

I bought this brush because the full size brush was sold out. I had planned to use this and then replace it with a full sized one. This brush is so soft and applies the make-up flawlessly, I won't be replacing it.

Quick Take: soft bristles
I added this to my collection of BE brushes and must say it's the first one I just do not like. It doesn't "feel" right in my hand and is nowhere near as nice as other BE retractable brushes. I ordered online and took it right back and bought the same brush with the regular handle. That one feels like it's more dense and plusher than this one--and much nicer quality.

Not as great as the full sized brush, but it's definitely worth having in your purse! It's still soft and dense, with a nice cap so it doesn't get dirty on-the-go :)
