No impact / Waste of money

This product did nothing for me: didn't moisurize, didn't tone down redness, didn't work as a smooth makeup primer.

Genius and effective primer
-10.26.12
Quick Take: lightweight, evens out skintone, fast-absorbing, effective, lasts all day, great for sensitive skin
Koh Gen Do has become my go-to brand for all things beauty and skin care, and this product is one of the reasons why. As other reviewers have mentioned, it does leave your skin looking slightly pale, but used in a targeted fashion (aka, don't just schmear it all over your face, really focus on the spots that are red) it is brilliant. I use it in combination with the yellow toned primer for a base that is flawless and beautiful. The green tone goes on the most red spots, the yellow primer goes everywhere else. I use KGD Aqua Foundation on top, and the result is beautiful, pure skin without any troublesome redness. Beautiful! Rather than using a full coverage cakey-makeup look, the green and yellow primer allow me to even my skin while maintaining a natural, sheer glow.
In addition, there are no irritants in the product, which is essential when you're using it on fragile/sensitive red skin! I use this to prime my eyelids, around my nose (always red in the winter) and around my mouth. Strongly reccommend!

Quick Take: thick, creamy, effective
This is quite thick, and left my skin a bit pale and green after applying, so you definitely need to apply a foundation or tinted moisturizer over it. But it's actually effective at masking redness unlike other products I've tried.

Different color but works
-09.02.12
Quick Take: lightweight, evens out skintone, fast-absorbing
The first time I tried this primer/concealer for my rosacea, I didn't like it. Its color changes from green to a pink-lavender as you apply it to your skin, and initially I looked like someone with rosacea and a sunburn. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to wash my face and start over, so I put my foundation over it and went through my day. To my surprise once the primer had settled on my skin and my foundation was on, my facial redness was reduced and my skin looked better. It isn't a concealer that you could wear alone, but as long as you plan to put foundation over it, it works well. It also helps absorb oil if you have oily skin; my makeup has been noticeably less separated on my face by the end of the day. I may still try some others but I would buy it again.
