Great shadows/blush..... the rest is just ok....
-06.06.13
I really wanted to love this palette, unfortunately I just kinda "like" it.
Lets start with the packaging: When you first receive it, the palette is beautiful! The colors are all in tact and the protective plastic "dividers" wonderfully protect its contents. Over a few uses, the plastic protectors stop fitting and the palette magnets start to lose grip. Also, after a few travels, the cardboard case started to lose it's shape a bit. With such valuable contents, I wish the case was made of something sturdier (maybe something like the UD Naked Eye palettes metal casing?)
On to the contents of the palette:
-The eyeshadow colors/pigment quality are fantastic! The colors in this palette are suitable for all occasions, neutral for daily use to bold looks for evening. The shadows are rich in pigment and wear very well. The same goes for the blushes.
-Both blushes look great with basically all of the eyeshadow colors and look great when combined as well.
-The highlighters are great however all three are SO similar. It would've been nice to have had a bronzer in place of one of the highlighters.
-The glosses/lippies are good enough for basic use, but beware....if the palette is somewhere remotely warm, they will melt and smear your plastic "protective" divider.
-The eyeliners can't really be used as eyeliners as they don't really stay on. These "cream colors" are probably better suited as shadow bases. When used as actual liner, I found that they creased almost instantly. At first glance, I thought they were gel liners, but when I tried to apply it with an angle brush, they weren't opaque enough to be a suitable eyeliners.
All in all, I would probably recommend this palette to the makeup user that is looking for something that contains a little bit of everything. It's a great value for the amount of product and variety of color options that you receive however the makeup expert will definitely want more in the eyeliner/lippie/complexion arena.

Meh...
-05.30.13
I'm not super impressed by this palette. Maybe its the terrible chemical smell of the packaging, that left me with a bad first impression? The product in the palette seems about average, and the colors are not unique or new. If you have a lot of makeup you should skip this, someone who has no makeup would probably appreciate it a little more. I suppose if I did a lot of traveling and wanted to just take one thing... nope not even then, as I would choose a few higher quality favorites.

Worthy Investment
-05.21.13
This palette is worth every penny. It doesn't matter what your skin tone is, or eye colour, or your skin type; this works for all. This is one of the reasons why I love Smashbox. They aim to create palettes that is universal.
I have used all of the colours, the two blushes are very pigmented and blendable, and I'm happy that it has different shades of highlighters that I need to make my cheekbones pop. The lipglosses are sheer, smooth, and not sticky. The eyeliners are amazing and you can even use them as cream eyeshadows or primer to magnify the colour intensity. If you travel a lot then this one is your soul mate.

Better value than other palettes!
-05.04.13
Quick Take: good value, travel size, pigmented, creases
Awesome color pigmentation, awesome selection of literally everything. I just bring two brushes, my primer, and this with me when I'm traveling (I don't use foundation most of the time) and it has saved me so much more space!
The only reason I give this 4 instead of 5 stars is because I have noticed that even with primer, sometimes the colors with the eyeshadows do crease after just a few hours and because the cream eyeliners aren't my favorite.
However, if you are looking for an all in one awesome deal package, it is this right here!

Good kit
-05.01.13
Quick Take: good value
I first saw this kit when a friend came out to visit and brought only this and her foundation. I was hooked! For the most part, it has great, wearable colors. (Of course, as with any palette of any size, there are colors that will go untouched.) I bought one, and for the most part, adored and used a lot of the product. However, after about a week, mine began to warp in a way that the magnetic closures no longer worked or "met," and it stayed open all the time. Since there are lipsticks, glosses, and cream eyeliners, I knew it was only a matter of time before they started to smell and collect bacteria, so I returned it. (The big, bright pink blush is REALLY bright pink, too. And my typical blush is Bobbi Brown Pale Pink, so that should say something!) If yours stays closed, it's a good kit for the money. Loved most of the colors.
Great idea, Smashbox, but improve on the packaging.

Great quality, just not perfect
-04.27.13
Quick Take: travel size
Smashbox's makeup has a reputation for good quality and this is an excellent palette. However, I often find myself reaching for something else. (Keep in mind, I'm a brown-skinned African American girl)
-The shadows mostly go on dark. They are very pigmented, which is a good thing! But they are only suitable, IMO, for going out. I wouldn't wear them every day - I stick to my Naked and Primal Instincts palettes for that, and play around with the Smashbox eyeshadows for going out looks or if I need a bold color. The eyeshadows also feel heavy on your eyelids, if that makes sense.
-The eyeliners are kind of dry and hard. They don't go on smoothly with an angled eyeliner brush. It's a nice assortment of colors, though. I would never buy silver or teal eyeliner (or not good quality silver eyeliner anyway).
-I actually really like the blushes. The peachy color is a warm apricot and gives me a nice natural wash of color. The more reddish-pinky color requires a careful hand on my skin, but it can look really pretty. They are also very pigmented and go on pretty well. I'm satisfied with them.
-The highlighters are, IMO, the best part about this palette. Highlighter is another thing that I would never buy on my own. However, now that I have this set I've been using it, and I really love the dewy look it gives my face! It actually motivated me to get a brush set with a fan brush in it.
I don't really use the lipsticks.
I think if you do a lot of bolder eye looks or want to experiment a bit and have a full set of makeup in one palette, then this is the ideal way to do it. It also travels well, as it's quite thin and can be easily slipped into a suitcase.

Patience
-04.19.13
Quick Take: not worth the price
Patience is what you will need when using this palette. I purchased this as a way to pack less makeup when I am traveling but needless to say, I will be sticking to my regular products.
The lip-glosses, blushes, highlighters, and eyebrow colors are all good and would get a B. The eyeliner gets an F- because it was dry and quite frankly even with stirring it was not helpful. I have tried to use this product three different times and none of them worked. The eye shadow would get a D because if you try to use any of the dark colors it doesn't matter if use a sponge applicator or a brush you cannot get it to go on evenly.
Would I purchase this product again? The answer is No...

wasn't for me
-04.11.13
I returned this palette as the blushers were way too dark. It was also larger than I had expected. I planned on using this for traveling and was worried that the glittery shadows would break too easily.

Useful, but not great
-04.08.13
My foolproof go-to is definitely the Naked palette. I use this on days when I need a change from the routine. The colors are more muted and less flashy than the Naked, and I feel that the end result is a bit muddy.
All the products are OK, but the eyeliners are useless for my Asian monolid eyes. Way to greasy and runny.

Love the Blush, Light Eyeshadows Not So Much
-03.31.13
I'm not a blush-wearer, or wasn't until I got this. The peachy color looks great on my lighter, freckled skin. The dark eyeshadows have great pigment, but the light eyeshadows barely show up and you can't distinguish between the different colors once they are applied. I haven't really bothered using the creams because it's just not my thing. The lip glosses work well, but I don't use them too much because I like portable lip glosses I can throw in my purse.

Worth it for the price
-03.19.13
Quick Take: versatile, good value
I was definitely satisfied with the value of this product. I'm a SMASHbox fan, and while the eyeliners are a bit dry and the lip glosses are just okay, the eye shadows, blush, and highlighters are wonderful. The fact that this was so reasonably price makes it almost 5 stars. Had I paid double, I probably wouldn't be thrilled, but for $50, this is a great, easy, and convenient kit!
*Tip: Mine didn't seem to close all the way, so I use two binder clips (the kind with the silver tabs that fold up/down for convenience) and that seems to keep mine shut nice and tightly.

I'm thrilled with my master class palette!! I love that the shades are laid out in case I'm not feeling particularly creative in my blending. It's also fabulous amount of product in one convenient package! I love that if I'm traveling I really don't need to bring anything other than my brushes and foundation!

-03.16.13
Quick Take: good value, travel size
Wow. I just got this palette in the mail and I am in love. I have wanted to get this palette for a while now but I've been hesitant do to the price. However I got it as a gift from my fiancé and I think it's the best gift I ever got. The packaging is really nice and it is very convenient for travel. It is not too overly big and it can fit perfect in your purse or suitcase. The overall product inside is amazing. The eye shadows are of great quality and you get so many of them. Lots of different looks you can achieve. The pigmentation is excellent. Love the eyeliners, blushes and lipsticks. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. :)))) Love Smashbox
