A complex of bay leaf oil and rich, natural actives helps keep the scalp clean and inspires healthier hair growth. Enriched with a botanical complex of fennel seed extract, this formula increases micro-circulation and oxygen flow to the root for deeper penetration of the nurturing bay leaf oil. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens- Sulfates- Synthetic Fragrances- Synthetic Dyes- Petrochemicals- Phthalates- GMOs- TriclosanWhat else you need to know: This product is ideal for those concerned with oily or dry scalp and excessive product build-up. Helped my scalp and hair feel better.
-05.12.13
Quick Take: easy to use, quick results
I normally have problems with my scalp itching and flaking but since I have been using the Ouidad Exfoliating Hair & Scalp Treatment, it seems to help. My hair feels less greasy at the roots and the itching scalp and flaking have seemed to dissipate. I am very happy with this product

Flakes and Itch Gone
-05.06.13
Quick Take: quick results
Purchased this for my husband who was having issues with large itchy flakes and red patches on his scalp. He felt great relief after 1 use. His hair was soft and flake free, and his scalp was no longer red. I thought the smell was pleasant too.

Makes a big difference!
-04.29.13
I was living in the mountains this winter and my normally manageable dry scalp became unmanageable. I had never spent any large amount of money on looking for solutions, but my head and shoulders was not cutting it and my scalp was becoming unbearably itchy and flaky. I bought this product, thinking it was a shampoo, I was slightly disappointed to to find out that its just a scrub in between shampooing and conditioning. However, after just using it once I could feel and see a big difference. It is kind of pricey, but I would say that it took care of a good 55-60% of my scalp issues. To me, the money I spent is worth it. Combined with my head and shoulders I would say I can see a difference by 80%.

hard to apply!
-04.28.13
Quick Take: hard to apply
this product is very difficult to apply. i try to apply it to my scalp but when you hair is wet that's hard to do. i just end up with a bunch of grit in my hair. i got a deluxe sample of this and i've used it for about 3 weeks now and i havent seen any effect on my hair (or hair growth). however, i guess that could be bc i'm not applying it correctly.....

Gets the job done...
-04.26.13
Quick Take: quick results
This is a perfect "in between" treatment that helps to get rid of all the build up. I don't use a lot of product so I use it bi-weekly and I have noticed my hair is healthier; although, it does not seem to growth at any different rate. Four stars because it has an strong fragrance and requires a few washes to get all the "exfoliant" out...a couple of hair washings.

Really like it

I love what it's doing, I gave 4 stars primarily because it can be a little time consuming to work down into your scalp. I wash twice a d do this in between. Glad I gave this a try, it's helped balance out my itchy, oily scalp!

Amazing product, conditions my hair with out leaving residue. I use in between my shampoo and conditioner. This product really helps my hair grow and gives it the moisture it needs!

Smells good and that's it.
-04.18.13
I received a sample of this and found that it made no difference in my hair. Due to my super thick hair it was difficult to distribute this product evenly over my scalp. It doesn't really lather so I had to use quite a bit. I went back to my own recipes: apple cider vinegar to remove product build-up, tea tree oil for dandruff, peppermint oil to stimulate faster hair growth, rosemary oil to strengthen, and avocado or almond oil to repair damage like split ends. For finer and/or shorter hair this product would probably work well, I suppose.

Use in Combination with Horse Shampoo!
-04.17.13
I have lots of thick hair. However, over the past two months, I noticed that my hair seemed to be growing less densely above my temples: I could see my scalp showing through my hair.
I went to my local Sephora, and the Sales Associate there recommended this Ouidad treatment. She said that washing my hair with horse shampoo, then massaging the treatment into my scalp and following up with conditioner would help grow more thick hair. So I picked up this product and then went to a local drug store to get the horse shampoo. (It was located in the human shampoo section and can be used by humans, as well as horses.)
I've been using this treatment along with horse shampoo once a day for the past two and a half weeks. I am really impressed with the results. I am noticing lots of new baby hairs growing at my hairline and at the top of my head. I also cannot see as much scalp showing above my temples.
Once the scalp above my temples has filled out with more hair growth, I plan on using this treatment only once or twice a week for exfoliation.

Great for dandruff prone scalps
-04.14.13
Quick Take: easy to use, quick results, pleasant smelling
I suffer from pretty unsightly dandruff and the usual dandruff shampoos and treatments available in drug stores and supermarkets offered little relief. I finally decided to splurge on this product and I am so glad I did! After using it twice (once a week) I have seen a significant improvement in my scalp's health. I don't need to use a lot of the product and I can target the areas where I get particularly dry patches. I would also note that i have color-treated hair (blonde highlights on medium brown wavy hair) and so far this product has done nothing but make my hair look healthier. I will definitely purchase more when I start to run out.

Not what i expected
-04.10.13
Quick Take: smells bad
I was looking for a good treatment to promote hair growth and thought this would be good. It claims to be a clarifying, gets rid of build up, and to improve the moisture in ur hair. However it has a horrible smell, almost like hair removal creme. It did not make my hair grow faster and ive been using it for 2 months and i dont see any difference it just makes my hair smell bad. Overall i dont think its worth it.

My hair is naturally really dry and curly, and I use a lot of products straightening and mostiurizing. This product does a great job clearing away build up. I'm not giving it 5 stars because I was actually looking for something to help exfoiliate my dry scalp and its doesn't do that.

Mix feelings
-04.05.13
Quick Take: gentle, nice smell
I have mix feeligns about this product. It's definitely cleans the scalp of product built-up and i like the smell of bay leaf. However, it de-volumizes hair dramatically. After i use it my hair is completely volumless and limb and nothing helps.

Quick Take: effective
I use this a few times a week for my oily, flaky patches on my scalp and it certainly diminishes them. My only complaint is that it makes my hair kind of flat (although very soft).

Quidad Medit Bay Leaf Exfoliating hair/scalp
-03.19.13
I was disappointed in this product, especially for the hefty price tag of $36.00. My problem with my scalp needed more professional help than the product gave me, so I decided to send the scalp treatment back to Sephora. It did not work for me.

This is probably my favorite hair product of all time. I love how it cleans my scalp, eliminating any flaky skin. It also makes my hair soft and smooth. It feels great. Definitely worth the money.

My scalp and hair seem healthier since I've been using this. I love how this smells and how clean it makes my hair feel. I'm rating this four stars instead of five only because I feel like I have to use a lot of it to really cover my scalp, and it's a bit pricey for how much I have to use.

Must have
-02.26.13
Makes scalp/hair feel light and extra clean. Conditions hair to be smooth and shiny. I do believe using this product has accelerated my hair growth a bit- using massaging action itself increases blood flow to the hair follicles and adding this product helps to exfoliate buildup. The smell does not bother me at all I think it's nice. I use it once-twice a week and it is now essential to my routine!

Good for scalp, not for curls
-02.26.13
I have had severe dry flaky scalp this winter and needed a product to exfoliate my scalp. This did what it said and left my scalp exfoliated and hydrated. However, it weighed down my curly hair a lot and my hair looked greasy after a day. I still use it, because it really does a great job with my scalp issues, but wearing my hair down after using it isn't an option, as the top 4+ inches of my hair lie flat and limp against my head.

Quick Take: quick results
I had a really itchy scalp with dead skin coming off, especially after shower, my head would be full of like white dandruffs. But after using this, I especially concentrated on giving that massage, it did improve. However, if i don't use it, it'll be back to that mess again. But this is a good start to fixing my scalp:)
