Living Proof Nourishing Styling Cream

What it is: A styling cream that smooths, conditions, and eliminates frizz by blocking humidity without weighing hair down. What it does: Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream is the first new anti-frizz technology in over 30 years that doesn’t rely on silicones or oils. Instead, No Frizz derives performance from Living Proof’s “miracle molecule,” PolyfluoroEster, to create a weightless shield on hair that blocks humidity absorption, smooths the cuticle, and repels dirt. The PolyfluoroEster shield is established over the first five uses of the No Frizz regimen, so it becomes stronger, the longer you use it and can be maintained with consistent use of No Frizz products. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens- Sulfates- Synthetic Dyes- Petrochemicals- Phthalates- GMOs- TriclosanWhat else you need to know: No Frizz Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-in create a healthy foundation and help block humidity, while the No Frizz Stylers complete the shield to stop frizz in its tracks. By using the complete regimen, your hair will be so protected it will block humidity and stop frizz even on the days you don’t wash and style. Stylers deposit even more PolyfluoroEster because they are leave-on versus rinse-out products.

Love this stuff
-06.15.13
Quick Take: lightweight
Really, really, really works. The first product I have used that keeps my hair smooth and without frizz even in the heat of New York summer. I use my regular shampoo and conditioner, the while hair is still wet, rub tis cream in. Keeps my bar smooth for 2-3 days! Highly recommend it!

It actually works!
-06.15.13
Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
I live in San Francisco - the land of perpetual fog. I have long wavy, curly hair (that I flatiron) that will frizz up at the drop of a hat. Let me say that I had a healthy skepticism with regards to this product. Celebrity endorsement aside, I can't tell you how many products I have used to tame my hair. I was tired of the silicone feeling that I would get after using other products.
I used this product, as directed, and was stunned. At first, I didn't think it worked, but as I started to flatiron my hair, the frizz went away. For the first time in eons, I could duplicate the straight and frizz free look my stylist gives me. The real test was the fog in SF. No frizz, no fuzz. I am thrilled to pieces. I'm pretty sure this is too lightweight to stand up to the moisture of a full-blown rain storm, but it worked wonders with my hair in the fog. That works for me!

What a great styling creme! It's lightweight, not sticky and really does control the frizz. My hair doesn't take any longer to dry, it styles easily and feels soft all day. Love it!

Not worth the rave reviews
-06.12.13
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use
I read all of the rave reviews and expected this to be the best smoothing product I have ever tried. It was not. Recent weather in NY had been rainy and humid, and I needed something strong to combat the frizz. I tried this on a rainy day and it was no better than the product I had been using. It did help the fly aways on the top of my head from new growth, but didn't do much for the rest of my hair. My ends were still full of static and my hair overall didn't look much better. I tried it again and used more product and got the same results. I tried it again 3 more times, on sunny and hot days, and it was the same. I'm returning it because it's a fair product, but does not merit the price for the results it provides.

Great Frizz Fighter!
-06.10.13
Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky, a little goes a long way
I got a sample size of this product and have used it 3 times. It keeps my shoulder length, wavy/curly hair completely frizz free! You don't have to use a lot of product, so it seems like it would be a great deal for the price. I'm definitely buying the full size product!

I added this to my hair regimen and it is awesome. My hair is smooth, soft, and isn't frizzy. I love that it doesn't weigh my hair down and isn't sticky.

Great hair product!
-06.06.13
Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
A great product to soothe frizzy and untamed hair without making it greasy. It feels and looks greasy upon use, but when it dries it goes away. Has a strong floral scent at first, but lightens up as it dries. Still smells great though. When they say use it liberally, they mean it. You have to use a good amount to get it doing what it needs to do. So that is the only real downfall to this product.

What Happened?
-06.04.13
Quick Take: lightweight
As a previous poster had mentioned, I believe that the formula has changed. I have thin, curly very porous hair. A loonie sized dollop of this product and I still have full poofy, undefined curls. It used to love my hair. Sadly I will be returning this.

I used living proof in the past and was happy, but I believe the company might have changed things up. This product did nothing for me I wont buy it again that is for sure. All it did for my hair is make it feel very heavy and hard to style.

I was having trouble keeping my hair looking good in Hawaii, so I visited Sephora for help. This was suggested and worked very well. There was a dramatic difference in the way my hair looked after the first use. Worth every cent!!

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
I have an arsenal of bumble and bumble serums, de-frizzers, smoothers, oils, serums, gels, you name it..sitting all alone under my sink. After buying the straight spray in the beginning of may and getting a sample of this nourishing serum I ordered the big bottle of it because it replaces the 50 I once used. I put the serum in then spray the straight spray to my wet hair and blow out glorious smooth bouncy hair. I don't even need a flat iron to touch up a frizzy piece because there are none. I live in Atlanta where its100% humidity all of the time and my hair does not frizz. No need for a smoothing serum or shine drops when done. So when I pack for the beach this year I have only 2 styling products to bring. And I didn't use it with the no frizz shampoo... Yet. Real simple perfect hair.

My favorite thing.
-05.29.13
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use
Once I found this I did not need to look for any other hair product. I have been using for over two years now and it works great. My hair is processed and fairly frizzy. Once I put this on, it settles right down. But my hair is also fine and fairly thin - it does NOT weigh it down. I recommend for all hair types.

this stuff really works!
-05.29.13
I have the curliest, most unmanageable hair and so when I straighten it (which takes like two hours) I literally have to hide it from any type of humidity or moisture. I applied this to my wet hair and then proceeded to blowdry & then flat iron it. I stepped out later in the day, & it was unfortunately humid & I didn't have anything to cover my hair with. I thought it was going to frizz up horribly, but it didn't! My hair still looked shiny & SLEEK! I cannot wait to try the entire Frizz line.

This stuff helps!
-05.29.13
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use
I was initially disappointed with the No Frizz shampoo and conditioner because it didn't even come close to taming my frizz on a humid, rainy day (of which, we have had many). BUT, I did get a sample of this product and with another grey day looming I gave it a shot.
First off, it didn't weigh my hair down (and I put lots in!) and when I finished drying it I was so pleased - looked great! I've been in and out all day in the rain and humidity and while I wouldn't say it's a life saver, my hair is alot less frizzy than it could be - it is certainly helping!
I'm happy overall with the results and I will keep using it!

Lives up to the hype
-05.28.13
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use
I have very dry, frizzy hair and I like in a very humid climate so I was excited to try this stuff out. You don't have to use much of the product at all and it gives great results. I find that my hair stays smooth even when outside. I am hoping to get these same results once the summer gets here. So far so good, though.
