Living Proof Weightless Styling Spray

What it is: A smoothing styling spray that eliminates frizz by blocking humidity without weighing hair down. What it does: Living Proof No Frizz Weightless Styling Spray is the first new anti-frizz technology in over 30 years that doesn’t rely on silicones or oils. Instead, No Frizz derives performance from Living Proof’s “miracle molecule,” PolyfluoroEster, to create a weightless shield on hair that blocks humidity absorption, smooths the cuticle, and repels dirt. The PolyfluoroEster shield is established over the first five uses of the No Frizz regimen, so it becomes stronger, the longer you use it and can be maintained with consistent use of No Frizz products. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens- Sulfates- Synthetic Dyes- Petrochemicals- Phthalates- GMOs- TriclosanWhat else you need to know: No Frizz Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-in create a healthy foundation and help block humidity, while the No Frizz Stylers complete the shield to stop frizz in its tracks. By using the complete regimen, your hair will be so protected it will block humidity and stop frizz even on the days you don’t wash and style. Stylers deposit even more PolyfluoroEster because they are leave-on versus rinse-out products.

Incredible product!
-05.11.13
After trying many frizz control sprays and going to countless outdoor occasions with a frizzy 'do, I've found a product that ill use for life. This is totally weightless and does wonders for frizz- so much so that I immediately jumped for joy after using just once! Try it and you'll never turn back

Actually Works
-05.09.13
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use, lasts awhile
This is honestly the first anti-frizz stuff to actually do anything for my hair. It's not a miracle, so really humid days are still ponytail days, but it gives me a fighting chance on normal days.
In addition to smelling good, it's not greasy and doesn't flatten my roots. Actually, it doesn't do anything at all except keep the fuzz under control. I'm on my second bottle and see no reason to stop.

Great for Frizz and Humidity
-04.03.13
Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight
I have very wavy and frizzy hair, especially when it's humid. This spray helps really helps smooth everything out, so I hardly even need to iron my hair after blow drying.
It does have a strong fragrance, which took me some time to get used to.

love the whole line
-02.18.13
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use
I used to have Japanese straightening done but can't afford it anymore. This is the best compromise I have found. It still takes a long time to dry and iron my hair (as opposed to the effects of Japanese straightening), however, I find the results long lasting. I even have found it easy to restyle and keep straight post workout and I sweat a lot!! I use the Weightless Styling Spay on almost dry hair, blow out, flat iron, then use the no frizz styling cream after my hair is dry and flat ironed

nice curl, hate the smell
-01.28.13
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use, super stinky
I've only used this once - and so far it's great. I have a chin length bob and my hair is super thick, coarse, wavy and tends to get frizzy. I wash my hair at night and figure out what to do with it in the morning. Today, I dampened it in the am, sprayed on this product, and scrunched a bit. My waves were lovely and stayed all day. My hair is soft and touchable.
But, I hate the smell- it totally conflicts with my perfume (vanilla) and is chemically and perfumey. Living proof - make a non scented version - please!

Great stuff!
-01.23.13
This works very well on my curly/frizzy hair. It is not sticky nor does it give me the wet mousse look that I hate. I've tried a million and one professional and drug store products, and this is my favorite. I'll buy cheap when I can, but this is worth the money.

This product did absolutely nothing to my hair. I wasn't able to test the humidity blocking properties as it's January in Maine so no humidity! Living Proof has lots of other products that are wonderful, this just isn't one of them.

Exchanged for Styling Cream
-12.30.12
Quick Take: better for finer hair
This is a very good product for managing frizz if one prefers a spray. It keeps frizz at bay, but, I agree with others that the smell is chemically, particularly in spray form, thus the four stars. I was intrigued by LP's business model after reading about it in the WSJ. However, I found the descriptions of it's product line confusing and the interactive toolbox in the product description to help consumers choose the right products did not work on my browser. So, given that I have hair issues addressed by both the Restore and No Frizz products, it was not easy choosing the right products for my misbehaving hair. Long story shorter, I contacted the company and was advised to use the Restore products for shampoo, conditioner & masque to "restore" damage, and then use the No Frizz products for styling so that my hair is protected from the South Florida humidity. Since I have a ton of hair, the LP adviser felt the No Frizz styling cream would be easier to use in terms of getting adequate product onto every strand of hair, and she's right. This is why I exchanged the spray for the cream. I hope my experience, although confusing, may help others with hair issues that fall in-between LP's present categories: frizz, damage, volume, etc. navigate the very good and innovative product line.

Overrated

This smells good (same as rest of line) but doesn't appreciably reduce frizz, even using most of the rest of the line. Save your money.

Works well if you want a light hold
-12.13.12
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, less effective
I use this and it does help with my frizz. I have fine hair that is slightly curly that I straighten. This does not have any hold to it, but I notice a difference with the frizz. I just wish it was a little more of a difference with smoothing the hair follicle and softening for the money. It seems like I've had better. I'm going to try another product next time.

the best!
-12.04.12
This is the best stuff by far for fine hair!!! I have battled frizz for years with no luck because everything else weighs my hair down too much. This doesn't at all - plus it keeps my hair looking good 2-3 days after washing.

miss the wave making version
-11.26.12
This is the replacement to the "wave making" version and I prefer the old over the new. I currently use both-one at home and one at the gym-and I know I will be sad when I run out of the old stuff. I just seem to get better body and fullness-I will continue to use this product though as it is the best I have found so far.

love it!
-11.25.12
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky
I can't believe some of the bad reviews on here so I had to write my opinion. I have fine wavy hair so I use the Full shampoo & conditioner. I live on the hot and super humid South Carolina coast, so frizz is almost inevitable. I have used all kind of anti-frizz serums and none are comparable to this product. This stuff makes my hair so silky (but not weighed down) that I don't even need to flat iron most of the time. I have even sprayed this in and let my hair air dry and it was still frizz free. I'm on my 3rd bottle. Can't live without it!

Good stuff
-11.02.12
Quick Take: good for a light hold
I liked the spray when I need a light hold but if it's windy or the weather has moisture in the air it looses it's hold. The smell isn't exactly my favorite but it wasn't horrible. My frizz usually is under my hair not on top and because I curled my hair before I used it I felt like my frizz had disappeared a bit.

Best No Frizz Product so far!
-10.04.12
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use, simply the best
I've used Living Proof No Frizz since I first heard of it on the Oprah show in 2009. Best product yet! I have used many others, both drug store and salon recommended. I always come back to LP!

This product did not work for me. I tried using it both with other Living Proof products and with other products I already owned and it simply made my hair very dry - thus frizzy when it was humid. I do not think I will be using it again.
