Quick Take: buxom passport collection
the eye shadows are great, all coordinate well. ordered the kit because of the blue, and it didn't disappoint. i always use a primer, and they last all day. blurd id s pretty, neutral color. haven't used the gloss or mascara yet. would definitely recommend.

Quick Take: sexy
Got this on sale and love it. I tend to think if things are on sale they aren't so good but this set is awesome. Color are a must for brown/hazel eyes. Liked the mascare and blush and the brushes don't hurt. The lipgloss is sexy and good quality, I top it over a lot of lipsticks. The light grey color is the only shimmery one, the rest are more matte.

Great colors

Quick Take: travel size
I absolutely LOOOOVE the colors. There are so many palettes where I only use a few, but these all go great with each other. The case is really cute, but the plasticky pallette pan was a bit tacky and cheap, esp for the price- and the mini brushes didn't come with mine. No matter, I wound up cutting out the plastic portion so that I could fit my own brushes, lipsticks and eyeliner in the "passport" as well (see pic below. I really hate when they add travel brushes though, most of them suck and are just a waste of space imho!) Overall, pleased the the product

Quick Take: good value, travel size
A nice selection of universally flattering colors that should work for almost anyone. The eye shadows have a good texture and color payoff and are easy to work with. Very pretty blush. The brushes are mostly useless but that is usually the case with these compacts so I was not surprised by that. I had a lot of difficulty removing the lip gloss and mascara from their assigned slots. They were wedged in so tightly I had to pry them out with a screwdriver! I solved that problem by moving the lip gloss to the larger mascara slot and then used the lip gloss slot to carry a few mini eye liner samples. I also found the lip gloss to be too pale for my taste but that was easily corrected by using it over one of the Buxom lipsticks. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

Quick Take: good value, travel size, good mascara
Sweet little case that holds an amazing amount of makeup and tools. The blush is a universal color as are the shadows. Of course, this is one of the best mascaras out there. Not a mascara that builds to incredible lengths or volume, but rather a natural looking mascara that doesn't flake or smudge -- not water proof, but that makes removal easy. The little brushes are handy too. This is just a good deal.

I have been a faithful consumer of Bare Minerals products for many years now and I bought this because I was looking for that shade of eyeshadow but also needed the mascara and lip gloss as I was running low. I use the makeup clutch in my purse as it is a good size to carry around - but I emptied it of the makeup pallet. Normally I do not spend this much on a kit (with the exception of the get started kit) when they have so many other great kits that are more reasonably priced. I typically also like their individual shadows better than the pallet ones.

So many products, so little time. Firstly, the colors are all expertly coordinated. The shades all go perfectly together from the eyeshadows to the blush to the gloss. It takes the thinking out of choosing your shades & it's a perfect companion for a trip as you can go w/a smoky eye for the evening & use the lighter shades for the day. Also, I love the gloss, it tingles & plumps & I'll be buying full-sz versions of it in other shades as well. I wasn't super-impressed w/the mascara, but it's not bad & the eyeshadows have to be touched-up rather frequently, even w/the use of a primer as it seems to fade rather quickly. The blush is lovely, though I had to touch that up once midday as well. Overall, it was a great way to try some buxom products & I would recommend them!

Love the Compact for traveling

My makeup bag in the past has been so full, but now with the new compacts, I can reduce to bare minimum of a couple of compacts. This covers cheeks & eyes and I have another which is the makeup. And the colors are great. I like the eyeliner the best as it is a perfect color for me. The other colors are neutral also which goes with any outfit. Really good buy.

Exactly what I wanted

I bought this for an upcoming trip. I wanted something that was easy to grab and throw in my carry-on, and would be good for day and night just in case there were any problems with my checked luggage (where the rest of my make up will be). This set is truly perfect for me.
The colors are nice and soft for a day look, but the navy shadow can be built up for a more dramatic look, without even needing a liner. I used the shadows over UDPP and the pigmentation was good. The blush is also great and I could imagine it looking very pretty on many people. It reminds me a little of Nars Orgasm, but without the sparkles. I already liked the Buxom mascara, so no worries about paying for products I wouldn't use. The only cons are the brushes, but I expect that with brushes in a set. The gloss is almost clear, which some might not like, but I didn't mind. All in all, I was a bit reluctant to get this because of the price, but I see myself using this a lot and looking for the individual shadows and blush when I eventually run out.

This is a great idea for traveling, but I wish it had a second layer for foundation, mineral veil, concealer and brushes. Even with this I would still have to pack a separate makeup bag of other essentials. So no point in paying this much when I can just put what I have all together.

Not compact enough for me

Quick Take: too large
I was looking for a compact kit for an upcoming Europe trip where I will attempt carryon only. I was excited when I saw this online. This collection's colors were good, however, there is quite a bit of wasted space with the plastic that holds the makeup. Returned to store. I'm able to fit more in less space by purchasing compact shadows & blush & using a Lancôme mascara sample size & placing these, along with my foundation & concealer in a small makeup case. With this I would still have to carry another case for those items.
