Clinical Smell, No Noticeable Difference

The title of my review says it all. This thing smells like chemicals. The smell is so strong that I am actually concerned about inhaling it. I don't know if this is supposed to be used with another Perricone pore treatment product but as a standalone I can't say I've seen much of a difference in my skin since I started using it. Very disappointed. It definitely tingles when you put it on and I think that may be the only thing that makes me pores look slightly smaller. Definitely does not have any visible effects and I think the "intensive" part of the name must be in reference to the pungent smell it has.

Quick Take: mattifying, correcting
I really like this product. I use it under my make-up and it mattifies beautifully. It also comes in a darkly tinted glass pump bottle - perfect for keeping the product at its optimal level.

I went in the Sephora knowing that I wanted a pore minimizer . I have oily skin and my pores are pretty prominent
I've been using this pore Treatment night and day for about a month and have already noticed the difference. My forehead is tight and dewy . my cheek area is getting there . But most importantly when I have makeup my eyes dont go to the pore area it is now smooth and less of an issue
When dabbing on the skin you can feel it working ( there is a refreshing tingle )
Try it ! you wont be let down

I've been using this product for approximately three weeks and have noticed a significant improvement in my skin tone and texture. Last night, a friend said, "Your skin is beautiful. What are you using?" That is the first time in my life I've ever been told that I have nice skin.

This may have worked after the first application, but I was on the phone w/my bff after the second application telling her "It worked!" My pores were smaller and looked less strectched out. Thanks to a Sephora Rep who gave me a sample.

I've been using this along with the pore minimizer and what I've figured out is that if I use this every morning before putting on my makeup, there is "less pore" for the makeup to seep into, so that when I clean my skin in the evening it is so much cleaner to begin with - if that makes any sense.

It is not a miracle worker, but it did shrink my noticeable nose pores by ~50%. I've used clinique, M2 and dr. brandt before for my pore problems, with zero success. This is the only thing that has shown any sort of visible difference. It's pricey but you don't need a lot to cover the problem areas.

Didn't do what I had hoped

Unwilling to accept that my visible pores are here to stay, I sprang for Perricone's IPT. I contacted a member of their staff asking if this treatment could address the discoloration of my pores (they're not clogged, though). She said that this product would work. Now, I'm old enough to know how to read through marketing, and even microdermabrasion hasn't worked, but I went ahead and ordered it with hope. I will say that my skin does feel very matte, but it wasn't greasy to start with. I haven't noticed any difference at all to my pore's appearance, though I'll continue to use it since a) I bought it and it's a hassle to return and b) I feel that products need quite a bit of time to really work. Do I really think this will make a difference in the discoloration when even my dermatologist is out of ideas? No. But I'm giving it 3 stars because I do think it works to mattify the skin, and that may be enough for those who have greasy skin that magnifies their pores. Just hasn't worked for me.

Quick Take: exfoliating, strong, not for sensitive skin
in my quest for a truly pore minimizing and clarifying product, I decided to splurge on this based on the reviews. However, I was not able to use it as directed because even one application would cause my skin to peel and flake as if I had a sunburn! I'm 49 but my skin is still oily, and normally I am not sensitive to products, but the peeling was so noticeable people were commenting on it....I would almost rather have the huge congested pores! It also has a medicinal smell which produced a sort of "skunky" odor when combined with my normal skincare products.

Sorry, just couldn't get past the smell, had to return it. Pretty surprising for me,actually, since I've raised two kids and been a nurse most of my life; but this stuff smells rotten. Just cannot put it on my face.

I bought this after reading an article in Oprah, by her beauty expert Val. After a single use, my face was devastated with breakouts. Oh it narrows your pores alright. It closed them so tightly that nothing could get out! I'm glad it works for others, but not for me.

So I broke out because I used a chemical sunblock ( I learned this from my derm) I usually buy anti-aging products from Dr. Perricone and I know they work so I figured he has to have something for my breakouts. It felt really strong at first with a little bit of tingle but went away and so do the pimples! I like what it did to my pores on my nose too...which was exfoliate and improve the looks of them a lot. I will keep this in my arsenal!

I was looking for a quick, all-in-one night treatment for my skin, but wasn't in any particular rush. But, after four different Sephora associates raved to me about this product after expressing my needs/what I was looking for, I finally caved and put down the $75 + tax on this thing..
Didn't care for the smell, nor the texture, but continued using it. One pump at night - saw no difference. Two pumps a night, no difference. Then I just wanted to see if the damned thing actually worked and stopped being stingy with the product, and starting applying two pumps, day and night.. and saw absolutely no difference... If anything, my pores have been more clogged than ever, although I am not going to attribute that to this product necessarily.
In any case, this did diddly-squat for my skin, and thank goodness for Sephora's return policy. RETURNED.

I couldn't tell any difference at all for my T zone. For the price, I thouught it should have a more pronounced effect. Maybe it does for some, but certainly not for me. Returned.

My skin is super oily, and full of blackheads and enlarged pores (don't I sound attractive?). I thought I'd be done with this at my age. I have tried nearly everything out there--seriously, I hate to think about how much money I've wasted on products that didn't work or were too drying.
I started using this 3 days ago, along with the pore minimizer...and talk about night and day! My skin looks amazing already. I can't wait to see what happens next. I don't remember the last time it was so smooth. Blackheads are rapidly disappearing, pores appear much more refined...even the oil is way, way, WAY less than usual. I'm super impressed, and though this is pricey...I think it's worth it, especially considering all the $ I'll save by not buying more useless products! :* Thank you, Perricone!! You rock my world!!!

I am loving this new product from Dr Perricone. It has a fresh scent which blends into the skin in moments. I use it day and night after the Intensive Pore Minimiser . My pores look better and slowly my skin is becoming less oily. If you have always had oily skin like me this is a wonderful product that helps in keeping your skin more matte throughout the day. My pores look HD ready!
