I bought this to try the shampoo and leave in conditioner. I was really impressed. The Phytomist detangles the ends of my hair without making it flat. The shampoo did give my hair noticeable volume and texture. I have always loved the Phytovolume spray... These are perfect sizes for travel.

I bought this set to try and give some volume to my baby-fine hair. It got great reviews so I thought I would give it a try. Well, the shampoo does a pretty good job and used in conjunction with the other two sprays included in the set, it isn't bad. It does give me some volume but I wouldn't call it dramatic. I also feel that it tends to dry out my hair by the end of the day and that is why I am giving it 4 stars. It may work for you but I probably won't be purchasing these products again.

Volume and shine galore

I have baby fine shoulder length blond hair. I have to be very careful with products as they tend to build up in my hair and make it limp. Most thickening or volumizing products leave it feeling "coated" but not Phyto. This combination has left my hair with shine, feeling very soft and lots of volume. This kit was a good way to sample what is a pricey product without too much of a hit on your wallet. I will definitely be going back for the full sized products and keep this one for travel.

Great for fine/ oily hair

Quick Take: good value, large sample sizes, great for oily hair, great for fine hair, smells good
I am in love with these 3 products! I had never tried Phyto hair stuff before, but I have rather fine hair and I'm always looking to try volumizing products. The shampoo caught me off guard because it's really liquid-y. It lathers up really nicely though, but I'm not sure it actually 'increases the diameter' of my hair... I think that's pretty tough to gauge. The spray-in conditioner is great, non-greasy, and so lightweight! The root booster stuff is also great, although I can definitely feel a bit of stickyness with it - but it's really minimal and does volumize my roots. I will definitely be buying a full-sized version of each of these products!

Quick Take: good value, worth the money, travel perfect, highly effective
I have seen Phytovolume Actif in Allure for years, listed as THE go-to product for volumizing, and I never really looked into it, as I assumed it would be way too expensive to consider. Recently I noticed that my very fine, colored hair could use some ooomph & I saw this set. I really just wanted a small Phytovolume Actif to try, but I noticed that the Phytomist spray conditioner has protective properties to protect from color change d/t sun exposure, so I thought it would be worth it. The shampoo I expected very little from, as I have tried many & have been disappointed over & over in the past by the others. ------ So, did these work, you ask? Yes, definitely yes! And worth it in every way. I'm back today to purchase the full-size because I was so thrilled with the results. I think the key is to use a smaller amount than you would think you need, as these are very concentrated & very effective. The Phytovolume Actif leaves my hair full & thick & gorgeous for 3 days (I don't shampoo every day.) The sizes are great, obviously, for travel, too. Perfection!
