Atelier Cologne Trèfle Pur Cologne Absolue
Trefle Pur, a landscape of vitality, surrounds violet leaves in green woods, freshly cut grass, and dewy earth. Complete with a handcrafted leather cap and a removable pump that allows for splash or spray use, this cologne brings to mind moments of enlightenment and happiness. “He had a good feeling about it. My disclaimer: I'll begin by saying, I ordered the entire sample collection directly from Atelier Cologne (the Sephoras in my area don't carry the line). As a man, I am always apprehensive to order a unisex fragrance...most of the time, they are way too feminine for my tastes. I'm working my way through each one to help me decide which one (or ones) I'll be ordering from sephora.com.
When I read the description of this fragrance I wanted nothing to do with it. I didn’t want to smell like grass, clovers or “dewy earth.” Honestly, I set it aside and didn’t think twice. After initially smelling the other ten fragrances from Atelier Cologne, I decided to give it a sniff. It is a decidedly green fragrance but there was something I really loved about it. After about an hour on my skin, there was this warmth and sweetness to the fragrance. The grassy and clover notes gave way to the woody undertones that lasted all day. I got compliments left and right while wearing this fragrance. Also, it’s one of the two most masculine fragrances by Atelier Cologne (the other being Oolong Infini). I’d say this fragrance has made it into my top 5 all time favorites. LOVE!

Quick Take: travel-friendly, good value, reusable
This scent is perfect for spring/summer. Its green, fresh, effervescent and airy. It last quite a while also and perfect for the daytime wear. Highly recommended!

Compliments Galore

Ill start this off by stating that i only wear mens colognes. I cannot fathom the powdery, fruity, floral and ridiculously sweet scents that are catered towards women. I am a fan of citrus if done right, and this cologne is all kinds of right and then some. From the beginning crisp basil note to the name sake clover heart note(which also includes violet leaf) & the soft spice & wood dry down while managing to keep the citrus flowing, this cologne gives me everything i want. Not to mention the never ending compliments i have been recieving for the past week, (at work, in the subway, line for lunch and at a night out....got everything covered). I have bought and tried the other colognes from this line but this is by far my favorite. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
