The Diva Pressing Iron Rocks!!!
-05.02.13
I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product! I have naturally coarse, thick hair and have tried in vain to find an at home tool that will tame it. The Diva with its pressing creme works great at giving me the straight smooth look I've been longing for. I highly recommend this product for those who are looking for a tool to tame their locks!!

Too bad.
-04.03.13
Quick Take: overrated, overpriced
I really wanted to love this... It's geared more towards black women, which I thought would be perfect for me, seeing as I'm half black. However, it did nothing for my hair. I tried it with different products and every time, it was mediocre, at best. Even the cheapest straighteners give me the same look. I had to go over my hair way too many times, and it still managed to leave some wave. It also snagged my hair on the plastic tip. Definitely NOT worth the money, over $200 for this... I was so disappointed.

This iron is for Ethnic, Curly, Frizzy Hair.
-12.29.12
Quick Take: not for caucasian hair, perfect for coarse curly hair
Do NOT use this iron if you do not have Ethnic, Curly, Frizzy hair. It is not intended for thinner textured hair. The Seductress iron is a much better choice for caucasian hair.

Love duh Diva
-11.12.12
I love love love duh Diva!!! Usually when I straighten my hair I have a hard time getting close to my hairline so you still see my tight curl pattern ( defeats the purpose of straightening my hair) The Diva don't have any of the plastic on the sides it's all plate so I get right up to my scalp. Hot Hot Hot in a great way!

awsome
-11.12.12
I go to my stylist twice a month to have my hair pressed, and at night I wrap my hair to keep the style looking fresh. A week before my appointment my hair starts to frizz which leaves me looking great one week and in need of help the next. Well all of that has changed for me now I bought the Diva iron because it looked like it was intended for my hair. I use the Diva to press my hair in-between my trips to the salon and no more frizz or sleeping with my hair wrapped.

This product was not any better than a standard iron. They still want you to use a comb as a guide. I returned mine.

money making diva
-10.17.12
Quick Take: amazing, incredible
im a hairstyist and i work in a multi cultural salon. i usually work on straight and wavy texteured hair with a few culy girls in between. i recently purchased the diva and i can truly say its the best money i ever spent! i have been able to start booking appointments for clients i would normally shy away from. i find for best results i use the diva creme and pre blow dry the hair and then the diva does the rest of the work. it has increased my money and decreased the hard work it takes to straighten the hair....thank u diva!!!

Straight with tons of bodybody
-10.17.12
Quick Take: fantastic
This pressing iron is fantastic, my very kinky baby fine natural hair has to be managed with lots of love and care. I finally stopped perming my hair and have kept it short while slowing cutting off the old perm and waiting to have a full head of natural hair. I finally have some length - chin length twist out and wanted to be able to move from a natural twist out style to a smooth sleek style for a change up. THIS PRESSING COMB gives me that freedom and the style lasts until I shampoo with minimal time and damage. LOVE IT

Life Changing
-10.15.12
Quick Take: incredible, flawless, sleek
I absolutely love this iron. All I can say is "life changing " My hair is extremely frizzy and coarse. I think as curly hair girls know it takes a few factors to get that sleek straight style. The diva combo is amazing. The diva cream felt awesome and kept my style straight for days. I love that the plates are curved because I get a little bend at the ends for a softer look.
I think the plates are genius because the provide a firm grip when you use the right amount of hair between them. I seriously have been wearing my hair straight forever and trail and error are two of my favorite words. I watched a bunch of how to videos and followed the directions and I am hooked. Now the Diva in me is always out.

BUYER BEWARE

The DIVA did not do anything that was promised. I would not recommend purchasing it. This was my first Sultra purchase, and my last.

Did not like this iron at all!
-10.08.12
Quick Take: awful, big waste of money
I bought this iron because it was rated highly and seemed like it would be great especially since the price was so high. Thought it must be fantastic. Well, it was such a dissappointment. The plates do not line up to the handles in the end so if you put too much hair in it when you pull down to straighten it pulls your hair. The plates are curved in too , so if you dont put enough hair in it there is no pressure from each side to straighten. If I worked at Sephora, I would never let this product be in my store. It is really bad. I am really surprised anyone liked it. Now I did take it back and exchange for the same brand in the 1" curl, wave and straighten iron and I absolutely love that. (just f.y.i.)

Amazing
-10.04.12
Quick Take: amazing
I now save over $300 dollars a month since using this iron. Me and my two girls no longer have to go to the hair shop every two weeks for a press and curl. After blow drying it takes me only only twenty minutes to press my hair with this iron and I get salon results. It takes me about thirty minutes with each of my daughters hair, their hair is really coarse but I get amazing results. Our hair even lasts longer with no frizz. I hope it stands up to the winter weather as well. I know it costs a lot but it saves money in the end.

SOOO NOT worth it!!!
-09.30.12
Quick Take: worthless
I was excited to see the iron was described to be created specifically for thick and curly hair as the humidity in New Orleans can do a lot to my hair. However, there is nowhere in the description that details the fact that the plates are concave, that only one side has the grip or that the plates don't even meet! I've never had a flat iron where the plates didn't come together completely - I thought that was kind of the point. Leaves my hair wavy at best and frizzy still. Same for my daughter who's hair is more coarse than mine. Very sorry I wasted so much money. WILL NOT buy from this brand, maybe sephora for flat irons, again!

Love, love, LOVE this!!
-09.22.12
Quick Take: heats quickly, long lasting
I was really excited for this after I read the reviews, so I had pretty high expectations and this set went above them all.
Usually, my hair is hard to get straightened, as soon as moisture hits it, it goes poofy and frizzy.
This set managed to get my hair REALLY straight (even the ends!) and it last for a long time. I live in Savannah (lots of humidity), and my hair stays straight and smooth until I go to wash it.
It is a bit pricy, but I think it's totally worth it.

W-O-W!
-08.23.12
Quick Take: multi-purpose, time saving, heats quickly
My friend had this tool used on her hair and it is incredible. She hadn't straightened her hair in 5 years because it took way too much work. The Diva made her hair soft and straight in less than 30 minutes. The Diva Creme made her hair was still perfectly straight the next day.
