Quick Take: scented, absorbs quickly, light, natural scent
I picked this up on a whim and it's now my new favorite body moisturizer. It smells amazing! Just like grapefruit. The scent is light and feminine, and like the description says, uplifting. And it doesn't have an overpowering chemical smell like a lot of moisturizers do.
The texture of the moisturizer is also great. It goes on light and is gentle on my skin. If you're looking for a good summertime body moisturizer, definitely give this one a shot.

What a mistake!!!!!

I actually bought this based on the reviews of others but FOR ME it was a mistake. I don't like the fragrance at all and that was why I bought it. I have had it for several months but have never used it because I don't like the smell. I don't live where there is a sephora store so I couldn't return it. I realize this is very different from other reviews, but wanted to let others know . It is just mising the citrus grapefruit scent that I love.

Really an amazing cream

The scent is not for winter thats why when I ran out I bought the ginger one instead. But the smell is great, and the cream it self really just rejuvenates the skin. It made mine glow, I love this cream so much that this is the only product beside my Lancome eye make up remover that I would buy again and again.

Quick Take: scented, rich, lifts your spirits
I bought this for one of my best friends for Christmas because she was experiencing the "winter blues." The smell immediately lifts your spirits-- she absolutely adored it and uses it constantly. The consistency of the lotion is great too, a nice whipped feeling, not too heavy or too light. It's really perfect. An added bonus, the price at Sephora is incredibly reasonable. I checked for it at Amazon and it was nearly double what I paid here. Excellent, excellent buy!

Lately I have been on an Origins binge because everything that I've tried has been wonderful. Pictured below is my product sample and have been putting this on before I go out. I receive so many compliments on the scent and I have even recommended to others, guys and girls, what the product is. That doesn't happen a lot to me, but with this product it does!
The scent really does make me happy, it quickly absorbs, and doesn't leave my skin or hands feeling greasy.

Returned to store, scent was disappointing

I ordered this online, despite the ridiculous price, because I love grapefruit scent & the scent got rave reviews here, and because 6.7oz is not a super-tiny amount (though still probably not $29 worth, unless it had been the delicious smell I hoped for).
I received it today & took it back Sephora after the first use. While the cream itself was fantastic, the scent was not at all as I expected. It smelled nothing like the crisp, fresh grapefruit scent I wanted, instead smelled like cheap orange candy, like a kid's product from Limited Too or something. Really gross, and even the Sephora girl who did my return clearly agreed when she smelled it after I mentioned my reason for returning it! Too bad, because it spread on my skin reallly nicely. I often prefer to apply rich creams & butters after bathing while my skin is damp to make them easier to spread/absorb, but this went on evenly and absorbed quickly anyway, leaving my dry skin happy, if reeking of creamsicle flavor Pez or something.
I don't know if I'm just smelling this differently then all the people who were so happy with the scent, but it just smelled SO artificial & candy-like, and not at all light or crisp like I'd expect something called Gloomaway Grapefruit to smell. At least I got free shipping, and got my $30 back in the end.

This product is so fantastic! It is now my new favorite over my other favs! Can't get enough-but use less for more effect. Look forward to moisturizing part of my daily routine with this magic body souffle-really delightful!

Gloomaway is SO awesome. It smells so wonderful. I have had more compliments than I can count. I've had spa employees ask me to pick up some for them. I've had guys follow me around a store. It also makes a wonderful gift. I wish they made it in a bottle pump and also a spray oil. I will use Gloomaway as long as they keep making it!!!
