Quick Take: foamy, smells like roses!
Like the smell and it works great with my Clairsonic. I have oily/crazy/dry/rosacea skin. It's gentle, but it cleans nicely and doesn't exacerbate my rosacea.

Quick Take: foamy
Foamy rose-scented cleanser that works really well with a cloth, but not as well with my clarisonic. Can leave skin a bit dry if you don't rinse really well. Pricey, so use sparingly.

Awesome, but expensive!

I got this as a sample. I LOVED it. It made my face feel incredible. Smooth, soft, calm, and just perfect! It smells like roses, which I like. It wasn't overpowering, though. I have been using Revaleskin for rosacea and acne and I love that product line. However, they have discontinued their line, so I might try this as a new cleanser. It IS very expensive, but so is Revaleskin. If what one of the reviews above is true about it lasting a very long time, then it would definately be worth it.

It's a cleanser...

I use other SK-II products and my expectations for this were pretty high. It's a cleanser. It didn't do any great and wondrous things for my skin. It didn't hurt anything, but I didn't notice any skin improvement for using it. For the price, I would expect more even skin tone or something, not just the ability to remove make-up.

This cleanser was a real disappointment. It made my skin really oily and gave me red splotches. I have an oily T Zone and this really made my skin look bad. My husband tried it and the same thing happened to him: big red splotches. I returned it. This probably is good for dry sking but definitely not for combo/oily skin.

I have acne-prone, sensitive, combination skin and I can say hands-down that this is the best cleanser I've ever used. It feels so good to use that I've come to really enjoy washing my face. It removes any and all makeup gently and feels wonderful against my occaisionally angry skin. It's clearer and softer than its ever been. From someone who has tried almost everything on the market for her problem skin, this comes really highly recommended. My skin has never been or felt better.

i'd give it 5 stars were it not for the price...like others say, there are sooo many other worthy cleansers out there which do just as well for the fraction of the cost of this...i got a sample for promotion with an order, was so glad to have experienced this cleanser, loved it after one use, left my face feeling very fresh, hydrated, healthy...glad i have a few more uses in this little sample which i will truly enjoy, but i have to stay with my current good cleansers as a budget rule...

Got a sample. Works just fine. Has a definite scent of old rose potpourri. If you don't care for an old rose smell, don't bother purchasing. I won't be.

This is a gorgeous cleanser. It is amazing for my sensitive, combination skin. It has a nice scent, requires only a small amount, and applies very evenly, smoothly and with a delicately creamy texture. I used it with my Clarisonic and it glided over my skin like never before. it rinses off very well.
My skin was left very clean and amazingly hydrated, without feeling oily or heavy. I was glowing and fresh. I highly recommend this cleanser. It is the nicest cleanser I have ever tried.

This is the most expensive cleanser I've used.It's really gentle which cleans the skin without irritation or dryness.But it's not foamy,even though I use a lot every time,so I don;t think it can last a long time.If you can afford it,it's a good cleanser.But if you can't spend much on the cosmetics,I think you have many other better options.

This is one of the best cleanser out in the market and thank goodness Sephora now carries SK-II! This cleanser has lasted me over 1.5 years and I still have 1/4 tube left because you need very little of it. It is hydrating and cleanses my combination, sensitive skin to a perfect balance. My skin does not feel tight after cleansing but still have that fresh clean feel, unlike some cream cleansers that may require some pre-cleansing to produce the same result. I typically skip the toner step ang go straight to the Facial Treatment Essence followed by the Skin Signature cream and eye cream and my routine is complete. For dryer winter days I may use the Cellumination mask-in lotion to boost the moisture followed by the FTE and Cellumination serum. Of course the routine can be an expensive habit but if all you are looking is a good cleanser then this is it. I shared some with my girlfriend because she was looking for a new cleanser for her tired skin and the next day her skin looked absolutely radiant! All she used was the cleanser and her normal moisturizer.
