I have quite a few compact mirrors so I was not really looking for a new one. However, I went to a Sephora and saw only one left so I grabbed it. It is very pretty but I am afraid to carry it everyday. I actually looked at the sample one in the store and have left the one I bought in its packaging for now. I would recommend this more for special occasions like prom or a wedding.

I got this mirror back in October when it came out. I wasn't aware that Sephora had partnered with Disney to make a Cinderella collection. I was browsing the Sephora site for a compact and that is how I came across this compact. As soon as I saw the picture, I bought it. And it was the best purchase I've ever made! The compact is STUNNING! Definitely a great buy considering the low price it was set at! I gladly would have payed a lot more. The intricate detail and beautiful design just takes my breath away. I could stare at it for hours! And i've had a ton of people ask me where I got it. The quality is amazing and I really love the little inscription inside. This mirror is a must have for anyone and would make a perfect gift. I was so excited when I found out the next collection would be from Jasmine. As beautiful as Jasmine's mirror is, in my opinion, it can't even compete against the Cinderella one! This will totally bring out the inner princess in every girl! A truly amazing product!

Cinderella is a great classic movie and this clock looking mirror is amazing. I wasn't able to purchase this item, due to it being out of stock on Sephora. Luckily I was able to get one for my daughter, from a different site.... anyone that wants any upcoming Disney Princess mirror, better buy it quickly from Sephora. Or you will either have to pay a ridiculous price, which I really don't think it is fair for fans of this collection to have to pay more than the actual value of the product. Anyway, this is a great mirror and my daughter just loves it and the Princess Collection. ^__^

I adore this mirror I couldnt wait to get my hands on it and now that i have it i love it... its just BEAUTIFUL the pics do not do it justice I'm so excited to see the next princess they release in this collection... If you get nothing else from this collection get ALL the mirrors... I also just bought the brand new Jasmine one i can't wait to see that one either.

Love this compact. It is very well made and has a beautiful, intricate design. A bit on the heavy side, but not so much to be a real issue. Very sophisticated. One does not need to be a fan of Cinderella to enjoy. Especially love the look of a pocket watch.
In response to a previous review, the use of "IIII" instead of "IV" is not an error. Many grandfather clocks and pocket watches do have this notation.

Pretty but flawed

Quick Take: heavy, attractive
Pretty mirror but I have two problems with it. First, it's very heavy for a compact mirror. I find it too heavy to carry in my purse so I only use it at my desk. Second, I can't set this mirror opened to a viewing angle on my desk. The side with the regular mirror is heavy causing it to flop down to a fully opened 180 degrees. The side with the magnifier can sit up at 90 degrees but anything beyond that causes it to open to 180 degrees -- hinge is very loose after using for just a month. Of course, this mirror is fine if I simply hold it in my hands.

This mirror is SO pretty when you have it on your hands. It's a bit heavy and bulky I can say, but it's only because that the clock/castle had a 3d coat of "glass" over it. Inside of it, it's written "time for your moment" and I love it. It's so pretty and looks so precious!

I in no way needed a travel mirror (I have one that's quite functional, small, lightweight, and cost about two dollars), but my inner Disney Princess would not let me pass up on it. It's very hefty, and doesn't look as cheap in person as you might expect. It's very 'grown-up' in a Disney way. However, I can see where if you carry it regularly, either the mirror could damage other items in your purse (because it's quite substantial) or other things in your purse could damage your pretty, collectible Cinderella mirror. I save it for clutches-only use and when I know I won't be in danger of losing my purse at the end of the night--not for late nights out on the town, but good for date nights and girls' night dinners.

I was going to get this online and then I saw they were out of it which made me want it more! I called my local Sephora at JC Penney and they had it. I really wanted something from the Cinderella line, but I already had more eyeshadows than I knew what to do with, so this seemed like the perfect keepsake. I'm so happy I nabbed one it is so pretty!

I'm not into makeup accessories as they have never hit the mark design wise but this was a must have for me! Wonderful piece of design that is classic in style and not a trace of tacky glitter in sight. Looking forward to seeing the rest of this line!
Cinderella Castle's "IIII" is actually based on a more traditional form of Roman numerals and can also be seen at the original castle clock in the Disney film.

I love this mirror. I got it for my mom for Christmas. She is a huge Cinderella fan and she spoke at my Grandma's funeral about how she was similar to her. I can't wait to give this to her. I know it will have so much meaning :)

This is an absolutely gorgeous compact. I already have a nice one, but I'll be switching it out for this one. The only thing is, whoever designed it obviously doesn't know what the roman numeral for "4" is. That's still not going to deter me though!
