A Big Surprise in a Tiny Package

Quick Take: pigmented, beautiful, soft, smooth
Kat Von D's eyeshadows are long-wearing and tough...tough as iron with a basic primer but I picked this cute-mini palette for 2 very special colors. The warm browns are lovely in themselves as a safe and classy neutral but the prize for me was that amazingly different wine red and yellow gold. Kind of out of the box pairing but works well to complement with other Kat Von D palette collections. The red wine color I thought was especially unique as I've not been able to find a dupe for it yet among my other palettes. This palette has a special home on my counter now for some unique makeup looks.

This was the perfect palette for me. I get many compliments. Funny thing is wore this for a night out, crashed on couch at home, woke up next morning and make up was still perfect (eyes were blood shot, but otherwise all was good). Used a primer (not Kat Von D, though) and her tattoo liner. I would buy items from her line again ... let's hope it doesn't go away any time soon.

This eyeshadow is true to its shades what you see is what you get. This shadow goes on creamy and smooth and blends very well. I love it.

I recently switched to KVD products, I was a die hard smashbox fan.
This was a Christmas present and I love every color in all of her palettes.
Good color payoff and even better with urban decays primer!

My 13 year old son purchased this for me for Christmas. After reading reviews, I've always been scared to order anything by Kat Von D. I'm glad my son purchased this for me. The red color scared me, but when blended with the gold above it, it really toned downed and made a nice sultry look. The browns are also very, very nice. I wore with primer. Didn't crease or do anything weird. It has become my go-to neutral palette.

Quick Take: amazing, bright, beautiful
I was reluctant to buy the Kat Von D eyeshadows, but when I finally did, I did not regret it! This set is absolutely beautiful. The colors are very pigmented and have great staying power. I was happily surprised with this set. I will be looking to buy more of her products in the future. :-)

I bought this palette on a random trip to sephora. I lucked out and it was on sale! I have many of her palettes and was not disappointed with this one. I love the neutrals and the fact that they blend together so well. I plan on continuing to purchase her eye shadow palettes and feel that they just get better as she keeps revamping her palettes and other products.

Quick Take: value, unusual colors
I just got this set over Christmas break. You can't beat the price, honestly. I got it for the red and gold and have been thrilled with the results. Goes on well, stays put with the eyelid base, and the color is outstanding. I, like other reviewers thought the red would be obnoxious but i actually love it! And the gold sets off my blue eyes. Haven't actually used the browns yet....

When I first saw this palette, I thought that the two bronze colors would be the same. One is darker and shoes up on my mocha skin. The colors are AWESOME, and it is my favorite everyday color palette to wear! I'm happy I made the purchase, while there were still some left!

I half-expected it to apply in skipped color and I'd need to reapply, but this shadow is so silky and the colors are as true in the pan as it is on your eyes. Lovely. I love her (Kat) make-up look, anyway.

Great Pigmentation, rich beautiful colors! Ive been looking for a red shadow for a while that isnt too bright and clown like, the red in this palette is perfect. Saw this On sale and my fiance bought it for me as a christmas gift, its perfect. I Love it!!! :)

not as great as i expected

Ordered this because the colors are beautiful and when it arrived, the colors were just as beautiful in person...When i used it, the colors are not highly pigmented and do not transfer the color onto the skin with the intensity I'd expected...very transparent...not too happy with it....
