Quick Take: good value
I held off on getting this palette as long as I could ... I have the other one and absolutely love it. These are colors I won't wear as often, but then to my surprise when I got it I found that they are gorgeous and I will wear more than I had originally thought. Kat's products have been exceptional - all of them! I didn't want to like her line, but have to admit that I love it! What can you do? LOL

Classically Beautiful Smokey Eye

Quick Take: beautiful, pigmented, long wearing
Gorgeous mini-palette collection. Like the rest of Kat Von D's eyeshadow collection, these are long wearing and with primer last all day for me without fading or creasing. I love this smokey color patterning. The colors all complement each other well and the packaging is so small and beautiful that it's a delight to pull this out of my purse. I highly recommend this particular color palette and am sad to see it put in clearance and sold out but hope they repeat these colors in a larger palette because Scandinavian and Oceansize are just so lovely and I ADORE Ville. Make them come back, Sephora. Make them come back!

Quick Take: sophisticated
Bought this on sale. I was prepared for very dark colors and was pleasantly surprised when the colors were softer & lighter than I thought, but the pigments are still very rich. Glad I bought it.

I've purchased quite a few of Kat Von D's products and always love her color choices. This is no exception - the soft blue is amazing on my eyes, and the purple is vibrant, but not over the top

Quick Take: perfect on the go, handy dandy, high quality, pigmented
This eyeshadow quad is the perfect on the go little palette. It has beautiful shades that are pretty flattering on anyone and they shadows are highly pigmented and have a velvety feel. They are better than the big Kat Von d palettes and I defiantly want to try out the other mini palettes.

Beautiful colors, even for "more mature" eyes

I didn't really understand the reviews that mentioned "a lot of pigment" until I purchased this palette. Now I understand: a speck of shadow delivers a lot of color! The colors are beautiful, rich, and blend nicely with each other. I was hesitant to purchase b/c I thought the shadows might be too bold/youthful for me, but I don't think that's the case. You can go as timid or as bold as you want, really.

Quick Take: sexy smooth silky
When I first opened this eye shadow I thought the colors would be to dark, but these colors go on smoothly and you don't need much. They look great, I have been using these every day. I love that there is a mirror and I love how the compact looks. I would buy again.

I got this on sale, just giving it a chance. I was nervous about how pigmented everyone was saying they are....which they are, but the colors are so perfect it's not a bad thing at all. Now I'm interested in other Von d products.

Love this palette , however I find all of the Kat Von D. eyeshadows to be fantastic so that is nothing new. I love the pigments , I love how smooth they go on , how long they last even though I am old school and refuse to wear primer ... and I also am a fan of the packaging even though I would have really enjoyed a eyeshadow brush or some other form of device in the compact to apply the shadows... do I have a set of brushes ? sure I do ... does that stop me from wanting a brush provided in a palette ? no it doesn't ... But going back to what I like, pigments ! fantastic ! The plum is sexy as F ! The cool blue is great for the office , the other two shades are also useful for highlights... Kat Von D really knows how to pick some fun colors ! Huge Fan !!!
