Not what I expected

After reading the description and reviews I was sold. But when I recieved the product and spritzed alittle on my wrist I was taken aback. This smells more like a man's cologne than a woman's perfume. Perhaps I missed that it is unisex??? It is a clean smell. It settles to a light peppery musk. The staying power was approx. 1 hour. Glad I did not pay for a full size. I will not purchase again.

My Signature Scent

I have been wearing this fragrance for almost 10 years. I am so happy it is now available at Sephora!!! This fragrance starts out as a crisp, sweet (yet not overwhelmingly sugary) berry scent with a slight peppery flair. The sweet notes linger as it mellows down to a pleasing, almost woodsy musk. Overall I would describe this fragrance as elegant, sensual, and deep. I find it appropriate for all occasions. This is the most unique fragrance I have found in my decades long search for the "perfect perfume." This is it!!!
I have tested all other fragrances from L'Artisan Parfumeur and was impressed with each one. Hopefully Sephora expands this small beginning collection to include the entire library of L'Artisan products. Marvelous!

I am so happy that sephora will now be carrying this fragrance. L'artisan makes more than one scent that I repurchase regularly, but Mure et Musc is by far my favorite perfume ever. This is sexy (and sophisticated) and becomes more alluring throughout the day, but its not the least bit obnoxious. Lasts all day.
