T3 Featherweight 2

What it is:A professional, Tourmaline-infused hair dryer that delivers lightning-fast drying and healthy, beautiful results. What it does:Boost your hair health with this dryer clinically proven to retain moisture, reduce frizz, and dramatically amplify body and shine. A proprietary infusion process emits negative ions into the hair and the gentle, wide airflow delivers a greater volume of ionic infrared energy to heat the hair from the inside out. Get the job done 80 percent faster, without overdrying. Strands are left smooth, shiny, and silky soft in no time. What else you need to know:This dryer features two speeds and three heat settings to provide greater styling versatility for all hair types and styles. Weighing in at less than a small bottle of water, the dryer's state-of-the-art components are lightweight and quiet for effortless styling. The Cool Shot button provides a burst of cool air that locks in any style for a smooth, sleek finish. Research results: A test performed by a third party laboratory comparing this tool to air drying and adhering to the five properties for healthy hair as defined by the Society of Cosmetic Chemists reported the Featherweight 2: - Dries hair 64% faster than other dryers - 73% reduction in frizz - 86% increase in body - 19% increase in shine - 33% increase in comb-ability - 48% increase in style retention

Horrible, not worth the price.

would not recommend this hairdryer. It did not cut the drying time in half and left my hair super staticy. Definitely returning it and going back to my old $20 hair dryer.

I've had this dryer for about a month and really like it. It is NOT lightweight or quiet. However, it is powerful, dries my hair quickly, and has helped reduce frizz and oil. If you're looking for an investment dryer that won't fry your hair, this is worth it.

So far so good
-05.06.13
I recently purchased this dryer so I only have used it about 4 times. It does seem to cut down drying time. I do find that it does eliminate frizz. I don"t regret buying it.

This is THE dryer,
-05.03.13
This was the fourth dryer I tested and it is by far the BEST one. It does everything it promises. If you want the look of a salon quality blow out at home get this dryer! I have lots of fine naturally wavy healthy hair. This dryer was the only one to quickly dry my hair at a lower heat setting (about five mins) my hair had volume shine and smoothness from root to ends. If you are going to spend $200 on a dryer get this one you won't be disappointed !

Great hairdryer
-04.10.13
Overall, I am pleased with this dryer. It is amazingly light and does dry my hair quickly...slightly faster than my Chi. As for taming the frizzies, it works as well as my previous Chi dryer. Definitely worth the money!

BUY THIS HAIR DRYER
-04.09.13
Quick Take: speedy, manageable, an investment
I had a Chi before the T3, and the difference is amazing. The attachment works really well and my blowouts are almost always flawless. I'll never buy a cheap hairdryer again. This one saves me so much time - and time is money!!

SO good!
-04.03.13
Quick Take: amazing!
I have the original T3 featherweight dryer, and have used it literally every day for the past 5 years and it is still amazing.. This is the best hair dryer that has ever dried my hair, and since it still works so well after 5 years, I can't justify buying the new one yet!
Although a different model, I think this review is really a testament to the brand and the quality of their products. If my dryer broke tomorrow, I would purchase this one in a heartbeat!

Not blown away.
-03.26.13
Quick Take: mediocre
I had very high expectations for this blow dryer mostly due to the price but also because of all the great reviews. I have very fine hair but it holds water--it takes me just as long to dry my hair as my $40 dryer does. Plus, it didn't come with a diffuser-- it was missing from the box.

Quick Take: overpriced!
Purchased the T3 and for the price, was surprised at how cheap it felt. That day I researched other ionic/ crystalline blow dryers and came across the Sedu. Not only was it less ($130), it got stellar reviews. I returned my T3 and after receiving the Sedu, was so glad I did. It felt sturdy and far more powerful. Left my hair salon straight versus the T3....felt weighed down.

Okay, but....
-03.17.13
This dryer is okay, but it doesn't hold a candle to the previous Bespoke Labs version. It is a little heavier. However, I do like having 3 temperatures to choose from with this model. Not sure that it dries any faster than my Babyliss Pro model that was much, much cheaper.

Quick Take: high-quality, makes hair shiny, fast
I have wavy hair that I blow dry and curl. This blow dryer keeps my hair shiny and healthy looking and doesn't frizz my bangs when I blow them out straight. I love this blow dryer so much that I have told all of my friends about it.

Fantastic
-03.07.13
There are a few things you should consider before purchasing this product:
1. Air Temperature - I prefer to use cool air on my hair, (I believe) it's less damaging, and the coolest setting is semi-warm, not cool. There's a cool button, but it must be held down, which is fine, but I would've definitely preferred to have a cool button switch that didn't need to be held down.
2. Drying Time - I have very dry, damaged, long, coarse, thick and wavy hair. It takes me anywhere between 30-45 minutes to blow dry my hair (on the semi-warm/cool setting) with a regular, no-name hairdryer, and it takes me anywhere between 30-45 minutes with this hairdryer. So I'm not sure why everyone else is saying it dries their hair so quickly, this hasn't been the case me for. I do enjoy blowdrying my hair, and I don't wash my hair everyday, so it's not too much of an issue for me. However if you do wash your hair often, and have a tight schedule, perhaps it's something you should consider.
Those are the only cons, and they didn't outweigh the pros:
1. The Air Quality - The air feels smooth, and pure. Most (non-salon brand) hairdryers have a harsh, rough, stale air. It's somewhat like comparing fresh mountain air, with city smog. And you can DEFINITELY feel the difference in your hair, the T3 leaves my hair feeling smooth and lush.
2. It's Pretty - Some people care about packaging (I'm unfortunately one of them) ..and I just love the sleek, white style.
3. The Weight - It's impressively lightweight!
4. Hair Health - I can't really tell if it's hair-healthy, but it says that it is, and that definitely makes me feel a little more at ease. Some hairdryers have left my hair feeling burnt, and crispy. The T3 leaves my hair feeling soft and supple, and a little less frizzy, I don't feel like I'm damaging my hair by blowdrying it anymore.
Overall, I would repurchase this the T3 Featherweight 2 in a heartbeat. :)

Took some getting used to...
-03.05.13
I was very close to returning the blow dryer, but with a change in my technique I think this may work out to be amazing. I have fine, frizzy, curly hair and live in the deep south. My first week or so of using this blow dryer returned miserable results. I had head that the dyer "coats" your hair and I did in fact find do that, but made my hair very unmanageable. I was using the same blow out technique I have for years of dividing it into sections and drying each section with a boar bristle round brush. I finally decided to try something different and that was to blow dry it "free style" until it was about 80% dry. I then sectioned it off and finished drying it using my original technique. This doesn't leave my hair feeling like it's "coated". My hair is bouncy and soft. I discovered this trick during a cold spell with dry weather. So the next test will be when the air gets humid again and seeing if I still have positive results.

Not great
-03.03.13
I have the older version of the Featherweight hairdryer that I purchased 3 years ago. For a hairdryer that costs $200, I don't think it was worth it. The hairdryer isn't very powerful. If you are looking for something that will quickly dry your hair, this probably isn't it. I have fairly fine hair, so I didn't really have a complaint, but if you have thick hair it may take awhile to dry with this product. After 3 years of daily use, the dryer stopped working. It only has a 2 year warranty...so not great for a $200 purchase. I've now purchased a new hairdryer, and it's not a t3.

Does what it says, but not right for my hair
-02.26.13
I'm dissapointed that this doesn't seem to do for my hair. I have fine, curly, frizzy hair and live in the costal south. I started using this blowdryer last week and have found that while yes it does make my hair quite shiny and maybe does dry the hair faster, it also makes it incredibly unmanageable. There's a "coating effect" that I assume is from the tourmaline. And while I would think that this coating effect should be awesome, I can't get my hair to do anything I want it to do. When wearing it down, it feels very knotty and I struggle running my fingers though it....a problem I've never had before. I think I will return the dryer and try something different.

Blown Away By This Dryer!
-02.13.13
Quick Take: lightweight, glamorous, powerful, perfect temperature
I had a Babybliss prior to this. It was just as powerful as this T3 Featherweight 2 and sounded two times louder than it! Every morning my boyfriend would complain about the "monster" that would wake him from his sleep. My Babybliss only lasted a year and for as sad as I was the day it threw sparks at me and gave in, I'm so happy to have found my new T3. It's lighter and quieter. It's powerful and doesn't burn my scalp. It leaves my hair silkier and cuts my drying time significantly. Before it used to take me 45 mins to dry my nearly waist long, color-treated hair. Now it takes me 25-30. I love this T3, and might I mention the tiny rhinestone accent on the back? It's a nice and classy touch.
