not as expensive as you might think
-06.12.13
Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, helps exfoliate with niacinimide
Have you noticed that this creme is 2.71 oz? Most are 1.7 oz's, so you get at least an extra ounce ! It is not that more expensive if one thinks this way. I have used Retin-a since my early twenties, I am now almost 43 years of age. While I liked the consistency of this creme, it just was not thick enough for my dry/dehydrated skin. It also has Niacinimide as the third ingredient. Since this helps with the sloughing off of dead skin cells, my Derm. said I did not need both, and that is probably why it was not hydrating enough. Still, I used the rest on my decollette, and it does look better. I would recommend this for persons with oily, normal or combo skin more, and if you are on a Rx product ask you're derm first.

I have tried many others, and this moisturizer has everything in one product. Very creamy yet light. I live in a dry environment and SK-II keeps my complexion feeling smooth and healthy.

Quick Take: luxurious
This cream does what it says it will do! I'm smitten! I have sensitive skin with rosacea ( the worst! ) and this calms & de-flakes me. Pricey I know, but worth it & lasts a long time. I will get a job to afford it if I have to!

My skin is glowing
-04.21.13
Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, intensive, firming lifting, gives skin significan glow
My skin is oily but dehydrated, acne prone and sensitive. And this SK-II has been GREAT to my skin. It's not greasy, but moisturizing, never irritates skin nor causes acne. Plus, make-up usually gets pretty messy at the end of the day because of oiliness, but that too has been better!
On top of that, it is really firming and lifting. I had enlarged pores on my cheeks due to sagging, but they are now much less noticeable. And my cheeks are saggier than other women in my age group (I'm 36 years young) so this has always been my main concern, but my skin has been visibly getting tighter and tighter.
Also, a few days ago, my friends were surprised by the picture from some party I attended because my skin was so radiant it stood out in the crowd! I was the oldest out of all the girls on the photo (there were about 10 girls age between 25-35), but my face have the most significant glow (not from oiliness!). I didn't put glitter, brightener or anything that night, but my skin looks like celebs on the red carpet that I find in a magazine and always envied.
Believe me, my skin had tons of issues when I was younger. My acne was so bad that I had to go see a doctor when I was in collage. And it is still sensitive, unstable and break-out prone. I was never ever a girl with great skin that people praised. But now? A guy at some shoe store told me yesterday that I had nice skin. Even if that was his kiss-butt move to make me buy something, he wouldn't say that if that was totally far from truth, right? FYI, I have been using it for only 3 weeks.

Not impressed
-03.07.13
Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
Cons:
1. Did not provide adequate moisture to skin esp. sides of nose, chin and around mouth area
2. My $5 drugstore facial moisturizer works better therefore this is not worth the money for me
Pros:
1. I have very sensitive skin (even some hypoallergenic things make me break out) but this did not cause redness/irritation/break-outs
2. Lightweight

This stuff is truly amazing!
-03.04.13
Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, intensive, evens out skin tone, amazing!
Although it comes with a hefty price tag I am so glad I bit the bullet and bought this because it has transformed my skin. Plus I figured if it did not deliver the results I wanted I could always return it. Well I'm hooked... This cream is very lightweight, almost between a gel and a cream, absorbs quickly which is great for my oily/acne prone skin, and my skin feels refreshed and revived everytime it is applied. I have used this cream a.m. and p.m. everyday after the SK II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion (toner) for a little over a month now and have had no breakouts, oily skin is now normalized, acne scars below my jaw line and around my nose has faded almost completly, skin tone evened and feels soft like a baby's bottom, and pores shrunk! What I am most excited about is that I can actually walk out of the house without makeup on now if I wanted to. OH and my husband actually commented on how soft my face feels and he usually NEVER notices thing like that. I say if you are on the fence about this.... try it and worse case scenario if you don't like it, you can always return it.

SK-II

Quick Take: amazing
I am a fan of all SK-II products. I use the eye cream and the skin essence in addition to the moisturizer. The products are pricey but I have very dry skin and they do the job for me.

I adore Sk-II products, and I'm a skincare junkie, so it's a match made in heaven. I received this as a gift a couple years ago, and I fell in love.
I'm a big believer in prevention (I'm still young at 24, however I'm not getting any younger at the same time). I take care of my skin, I stay out of the sun, I use sunscreen (or products with SPF) year round, and most of all use the right skincare products.
My face is still naturally dry, but with this cream (along with only a couple others), it makes my face feels like a baby's bottom. I love the feel of this cream as well, so luxurious and fluffy (but still with substance to it).
The other thing I like about SK-II (along with the superb quality) is their packaging. Although they're not completely uniform (they're not all the same colour/theme), their products always look sleek. Basically I wouldn't feel embarrassed if someone found it on the counter in my bathroom (I'm a sucker for packaging, but I won't buy a product simply because it's nice to look at).
Overall, this cream is worth every cent. A little goes a long way, so it will last you a while. I am definitely going to repurchase soon.

I have a very funny skin type..
Whenever I use a product after few times of use.. it gets dull and itchy ..
however, this product really does not do that.
It is very comfortable and it keeps my skin hyderated!! :)
Thank you for this wonderful product again!

Awesome! New skin!
-12.03.12
Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, intensive, facial like results every time
I got this as a gift many years ago and had great results. i didn't buy again bc its expensive. I went on to other night creams. But as I got older I was less and less happy with the night creams I was using. I kept on remembering that the only time i ever felt like a night cream gave me amazing results was from this sk-ii cream. And as reference I have tried lancome, la mer, philosophy, etc. So I finally bit the bullet and purchased this again and WOW! I am getting the same amazing, new baby skin results i remember from years ago.

Simply amazing stuff...
-11.01.12
Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, intensive, does not feel greasy, very light fresh scent, worth every penny
I did a TON of research online and tested several trial sized kits (brands from all over the world) before deciding on a new skin care product for myself... SK-II was the winner of my trials. I am now 38 years young, and I started noticing my face was kinda flaking in some areas, a bit red and bumpy on my cheeks... they felt inflamed or something, warm almost, plus my pores felt larger, and I was starting to feel oily in the late afternoon... I am sure this is mostly normal aging/changing of your skin... but I didn't like it :) I'll be perfectly honest, I didn't 'want' to spend this much hard earned money on a face cream... but this stuff is amazing. In one month it has changed my skin texture, lightened my complexion, smoothed my cheeks almost back to normal, even reduced the redness I was starting to get, reduced my pores, I am no longer oily late afternoon... I literally feel like my skin from my 20's resurfaced. Right now on my vanity I have this moisturizer, the SK-II Essence, and the SK-II Facial Lift Emulsion. The Skin Signature eye cream was a bit too powerful for me, but in no way disappointing. Bottom line... you get what you pay for... and I would rather spend a bit more money for any SK-II product and get great results!
