Quick Take: scented, easy to use, natural looking
Was hesitant to use a dry shampoo for fear it would be globby or leave visible residue on my hair, but this is fabulous! Gives me a great one or two day extension between washings, my hair looks good and has great body, and I really like the scent.

LIke this product much better than the Caviar Dry Shampoo, which is a powder and is very messy. Works well and is easy to use in spray form.

This dry shampoo did make my hair look less greasy so I can't fault it for that, but I hated everything else about it. It definitely is not translucent as it says, fyi, and it gave my hair a weird texture. It also must have flaked as it was drying and made me look like I had dandruff no matter how much I tried to brush it out - in the time I spent trying to make this work I could have just taken a shower. I've only used it twice but I'm going to throw the rest away, don't waste your money on this.

I wash every other day to prolong my color. Hoped dry shampoo would buy one more day without washing, especially when wearing my hair up . Instead, it seemed to add more dirty, waxy texture without absorbing oil. I tried varying the way and amount I applied and even brushed and shook the can longer... always ended up with results more like a molding paste. On the upside, it smelled fresh.

I've tried quite a few dry shampoos. Use the product about 3-4 times per week. It leaves hair soft, scent is pleasant and disappears after a few minutes. Perfect for dark hair.

I have to start by saying this is the first and only dry shampoo I've used so my review is obviously biased. I don't know if it's all dry shampoos but I did not see or feel much of a difference after using it. It actually felt like I had product in it. and I hadn't had any in before.

I'm new to using dry shampoos, so I'm still looking for a great product to use in between washes. This shampoo sprays on more dry than the others I've tried (a good thing). It only needs a few moments to clean the hair before it is brushed out. It definitely absorbs oil and leaves a fresh ( somewhat heavy) scent. My biggest complaint is that it causes so much build up that it changes the texture of my hair, but it also dries my hair out and makes it flyaway. The added texture is great for putting my hair up in styles that stay put, but sucks if I want to leave my hair down. Overall, a good but not really great product.

I do not like to wash my hair everyday as I think it strips my haircolor and makes my already thin hair flat and lifeless. I have quite an oily scalp and those in-between days I was always resorting to messy buns and ponytails. I was looking for a really good dry shampoo to extend my newly washed style while not weighing down my hair or making it feel like there was a ton of product in it. Behold! Alterna Bamboo Style Cleanse Extend dry shampoo! This shampoo applies very light and has a very pleasing scent unlike most dry shampoos which have a very chemically smell. This is so light and completely gets rid of any oil or residue that is in my hair. It also adds a ton of volume! A welcome addition to my fine hair. I love love LOVE this dry shampoo!

This by far the best dry shampoo I've ever used! My hair definitely looks clean and oil doesn't come back after a few minutes like the local drugstore brands. The only problem is my hair is very dry after using this product. It's great for when I need to put my hair up in a bun and don't need touchable hair. My hair is naturally fine and very silky so using hair pins or a Barrette usually slide right out. A small squirt at the pin site keeps it in place all day.

I loved their Caviar powder "shampoo" however this spray really dried out my scalp and made it flakey. I tried to use very little - and though it gave my hair nice friction, it made it dirty feeling.... very disappointed.

This is only my second attempt at a dry shampoo. After my first attempt left my hair looking dull and powdery, I read the comments carefully on all the products and decided to try Alterna. It works perfectly. When I need to get an extra day out of my style before washing, I spray this on my roots, wait a minute, then brush. There is no residue, no stickiness or stiffness and it doesn't look powdery or dull.

One of the best dry shampoos I've tried

I have pretty thick hair and haven't had much luck with dry shampoos, but this one has been working pretty well. I've been using it regularly EOD for the past few months (I shampoo EOD). It has a nice scent that helps refresh my hair, but isn't too strong a smell that I have to worry about violating the 'scent-free' policy at work.
With this product, my normally kind-of-greasy 2nd day hair can make it through a second day no problem, plus it gives it a bit of body. Will buy again.

I have tried a few different dry shampoos and this one tops them all!! It is pricey but well worth it. It actually gives my hair some volume after using it. I have thick, long, strawberry blonde hair for reference -- I don't see any residue after rubbing it into my roots when applying. Try it -- you won't be disappointed!!
