Shampoo and conditioner only dried my frizzy hair even more. Didn't like this stuff at all. The oil is great though

Quick Take: hard working
got this as a trial size kit just to see how it worked. I was surprised at how soft and manageable it makes my hair. I don't use it every shampoo, but using it once a week has definitely helped my frizzy, out of control hair

Quick Take: good value
Never has an "anti-frizz" product delivered results like this! My little fly-aways are greatly reduced without my hair looking greasy or weighed-down by product (as I worried an oil would do). I still ended up with the slight wave in my hair that develops as the day goes on (from resting on my shoulders and being tucked behind my ears), but with minimal frizz. I bought the full size oil a week later, and will consider the shampoo/conditioner when I am out of my current supply.

I was looking for a good shampoo and conditioner for my hair so I tried this. The products are great they made my hair look so much better, I just received the regular sizes today in the mail. This will now be a staple for my hair!!!!!

Great travel pack - especially for humid regions

I really like most of the Alterna line of products. I have used the Alterna Caviar line, and I absolutely love it. But, I wanted to try the Alterna Bamboo Smooth line - just to see if it's as nice. And, it is. Smells great. And as I like to say, "it gives good hair!"
Would definitely recommend this - even if a bit steep in price for what you get. (I thought the bottles would at least be 1.0 oz.; but they are only .50 oz.) Even though you only need very little of this product each time you use it...it would be nice if they'd include a bit more for the $15 price they ask.

I love my hair now!

Quick Take: good value, amazing product
I never ever write a review this early. I did a no-no the other day. I colored my hair then washed ( you are suspose to wait 24 hours). I have coarse, curly hair that frizzes. I love this combo so much I'm going to buy the full size. The shampoo cleaned my hair and the conditioner made it so soft and managable. After I used the Kendi oil It took only 16 minutes to blowdry my hair and not 45 minutes. I would recommend using this product.

Thank you sephora for being generous with your samples; travel kits; trial sizes. It really helps consumers like me make decisions about all the money we spend on our beauty products and this was no exception. I love in Florida ..humid hot. This truly DOES control and reduce frizz. My hair is soft silky and moisturized. Many compliments. I will be buying the full size products soon"!!!

My hair is hopeless, nothing works. But the Bamboo Smooth Anti-Frizz Shampoo, Anti-Frizz Conditioner are really average as far as a anti frizz goes. Love the Kendi Pure Treatment Oil

This combination of products really works! If you would rather just buy the oil, it is a miracle worker. I can forego the flat iron and I have curly hair and live in an extremely humid state.

Smooth & Shiny

I am a fan. I will be ordering full size in all 3 products. I have very damaged, highlighted, coarse hair and this system tamed my mane. The shampoo made my hair feel kind of tangled. However, when I applied the conditioner I used a wide-tooth comb and distributed the conditioner while in the shower and that helped. I also used the oil on my wet hair to tackle any residual tangles and it worked like a charm as a de-tangler. My hair was so smooth and shiny after using all 3 products. Not greasy at all. Products are amazing!

I bought this for a weekend trip. If you wash your hair once a week, it's fine. Otherwise, the shampoo/conditioner will not last more than 2 maybe 3 washes. The oil is a very good product, my favorite, and will last longer since you only use a drop or two. In any case, the sizes are not worth the price of this kit. And the pouch's zipper broke, so I had to use a ziploc.

It is a very tiny trial size, but a little goes a long way. The shampoo isn't very sudsy. My hair is thick so I feel I need a shampoo that will froth a bit in order to saturate my whole head. The conditioner didn't really detangle either. I'd say the best part of this set was the treatment oil. I have frizzy flyaways that were tamable by the oil.
Smell is okay too.

Made my hair so soft and sleek!

I followed the instructions using the oil as a treatment, wash condition, and a tiny bit more oil before blow drying. My hair came out so shiny and smooth--I kept feeling it all day because it was so soft! I normally have straight hair, but it is not that smooth due to constant blow drying. I felt like I had given my hair the pampering it deserves after using this trio! Oh, and it smells wonderful!

You want a travel set that will get your hair CLEAN this is it. My hair literally felt lighter. Like all of the built off product was cleansed off. When I brushed my hair I could have sworn it made squeeky sounds like a clean window does after cleaning. The scent is gender neutral and not overpowering.
The treatment oil did weigh down my fine hair. I won't use as much next time. A dime size rather than a thumbnail size.

great to moisturize hair without leaving it oily

I really ended up liking this products. I've been starting to use oil as a leave in conditioner on my hair and fell in love with pequi oil from color couture. When this one was on offer when I was traveling, I decided to try and this is also quite good.
