Quick Take: soft bristles
GREAT WAY TO PUT ON YOUR BRONZER without PUTTING ON TOO MUCH. Glad I gave this brush a try, you will be glad too. Tarte has great products also.

Quick Take: synthetic hair, natural hair, soft bristles
I really wanted to try a fan brush because I love applying powder highlighter and thought this would help me apply it better and more naturally. I love Tarte and I love that they're cruelty free, so I bought this one, but I've used it three times and I'm returning it now. The bristles are SO soft, but they're so soft and delicate that they don't work for a makeup brush. A few of the bristles have fallen out already, and like I said, I've used this only three times. The brush is so wide and the bristles are so thin that it's very hard for the brush to pick up makeup. I have to almost squeeze the bristles together to get any makeup on the bristles, and then they only get on it in a concentrated part in the center of the brush. I've used this for applying highlighter, blush, and finishing powder, and literally nothing came off onto my skin. All of the makeup stayed on the brush. It definitely gives a light touch, but there's no point of wearing makeup if only 1% comes off the brush and onto your face. If you want to apply blush lightly, I'd stick to a slanted blush brush and learn to blend well, or use a very sheer blush. This isn't worth $29.

An excellent brush for light application of blush or finishing powder. The texture of the brush is soft and it is sturdy and durable. This is a must have. Enjoy!

Quick Take: soft bristles, great quality
While shopping at Sephora, Tarte's make up artist introduce me to this wonderful brush. I like to wear very subtle color in my cheeks and this brush is perfect for that. It gives you just the right amount of glow. I can't think of going back to the regular brush.
