Was looking for a lip exfoliator and decided to try this. Im loving all tarte products im trying! Tastes really good and lips feels ho hydrated! I usually get really dry lips at times so im really pleased with this one. Definitely a keeper!

Quick Take: hydrating, exfoliating
So I really like this product but I dont love it. I was thinking it would exfoliate and leave my lips soft and smooth. It does the job but I wish it did a better job of really exfoliating and removing dead skin. My lips tend to get chapped often and this def helped, just not exactly what I was expecting.

I've only used the product once, so after prolonged use I may change my mind. However, off first impressions, I think this is a nice buy. Not astounding, but OK. It was nice a sweet and has that Tarte signature peppermint touch. Very nice. After reading the ingredients, I realized I could've made this myself, or at least a DIY version. But for only $16 you can't really beat the price. It would probably cost that much or MORE to buy just one of the essential oils. All in all, nice product, but left one star off because I'm unsure if I will buy again.

This is good for on the go, because you don't need to rinse it off. It tastes good, and leaves your lips covered in kind of a lip-balm-esque moisturizer. I like the sweet, minty taste and smell. A little bit goes a long way. I use it about every other day.

Quick Take: winter/summer appropriate
The raw sugar does a good job of exfoliating gently, the oil keeps your lips moisturized after exfoliating and the minty flavor is nice. I carry this with me ion my purse during harsh weather so I can use it on the go. I probably get a lot of looks as I am vigorously rubbing my lips in public, but darn it sometimes they get chapped.

This is a very exfoliating scrub and imparts a small amount of maracuja onto the lips for a repairing treatment, I'm not a fan on the mentholaneum like smell, but it certainly does the trick!

This scrub may be hard to come by in stores, but it's worth it! Invest in this for smooth lips. A must pre-lipstick for smooth application. Just a little bit on the lips does wonders. The can will last a long time. And since it's sugar, it's edible after the scrubbing is done.

I love this lip exfoliant. I massage it on my lips, let it sit for a second, then gently wipe off with warm, damp washcloth. Your lips are left feeling moisturized, but I still follow with my favorite lip balm and my lips are flake free, and look "juicer", for lack of a better term. Once that sets in, lipstick or lip gloss goes on beautifully and lips look plump and younger.

Good exfoliator

Two things: first, unlike many other reviewers who said their product separated and had to be stirred, mine has not done that at all. Second, I bought this not as a lip balm, but as something to actually exfoliate my lips. I think it does a fine job of that. I honestly can't imagine wearing this out in public - the sugar grains are big and a little rough. I use this every night and leave it on when I'm sleeping so I can wake up with soft lips!

I am absolutely addicted to lip exfoliants. I've tried all kinds, and I'm usually pleased. This one was definitely different for me. The scrub is very fine, which means it takes more work to really make it exfoliate well; however, it tastes good if you get it in your mouth on accident, and this is one of the more inexpensive options. Fresh's sugar lip scrub is still my favorite though.

I was so excited to buy this but a tad disappointed with the results. I like the texture of it, but when I scrubbed my lips with it, I was hoping for my dry parts of my lips to scrape off and leave my lips smooth... it didn't really do it for me. I find using a wet cloth and scrubbing your lips is actually better... but it does give moisture.. just doesn't do the job that I thought it would. Maybe I should put it on a wet cloth to scrub with instead of just my finger...

I was really excited for this product when I first got it - but it just doesn't work for me. I don't like the texture nor the scent and it doesn't help to keep my lips moisturized or anything. In fact it leaves my lips irritated.

All this time I thought my problem was the lip balms/chap sticks I was using. I got to the point where I was applying at least 50 times/day and my lips still looked flaky when I applied lipstick!! It was driving me nuts. This little pot of magic finally fixed it all! Couldn't be more pleased. You get a nice amount for the price. No complaints here!! Does not dry out your lips either, which is definitely a reasonable concern.

It took me a while to get this. I had been in the market for a lip scrub for the winter but the 3 main ones sold online all seemed so similar. I asked the ladies at my local Sephora and it came down to this or the Sugar lip polish. The reasons I chose this one was 1) the price 2) the Sugar sugar seemed a bit too course for my lips. The Tarte scrub has a finer consistency and I like that it has a bit of menthol in it. The tin is super cute and a little dab goes a long way. I have only been using it for about a week but I love how soft my lips feel afterwards.
