Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant
I got this Beauty and the Box eye shadow quad in the In the Buff colors last month and have been loving it. I have always worn these shadows with a primer and they last all day; from about 8:00AM-11:00PM without fading or creasing. The shadows are highly pigmented and blend with ease. I also have experienced little to no fall out with these shadows, and the shimmer is present but minimal.
I love pairing the middle 2 colors together for a radiant glowy look. I use all 4 shades in this quad and I haven’t had any problems with the shades mixing together which I was initially concerned about. Even my large shadow brush fits just within one color.
This is a great quality little quad that can be used to create simple or smoky looks. I recommend it to anyone.

Best color quad I've bought in a while! Brewed Awakening & Just Deserts (on the cooler side), great buildable colors, not too shimmery but just enough. Did crease without primer or with tinted moisturizer as a base. Definitely will buy more colors!

I got it in the Buff colors. I love this! I have sensitive skin on my eyelids and usually have an allergic reaction to most eyeshadows. I often feel "stuck in a rut" with having to wear the same brand all the time and usually I am scared to try new eyeshadows for fear I will have a reaction. This is great! Long lasting, didn't bother my eyes at all. I will for sure buy more products from Tarte and I recommend to others.

Great with Brushes

The pigments are great and they blend really well with my brushes. I have used other eye shadows from Tarte in the past that I thought didnt have very strong pigment. These shades can be soft or bold. They still crease on me by the end of the day but I have really oily skin and even with blotters by the end of the workday my makeup has had it. Still they hold up well and look great. I wish there was just a little less sparkle in them. All in all a wonderful eye shadow set with great ingredients.

These shadows are so smooth and pigmented, not powdery at all (like the UD Naked palette). They last all day and don't crease. The box is sooooo travel friendly, and as far as eye shadow I don't have to take anything besides this with me.

I purchased this product because I have very sensitive eyes and although I have only used it a few times, I like it and I can tell it is a very good quality. It goes on like silk compared to some other eye shadows I have used.

Quick Take: excellent pigment
I bought the Secret Garden quad and love the four shades of green. The shadows have great pigment and go on smoothly. I don't need to keep layering to get good coverage. This is my first purchase of Tarte shadows and I intend to purchase more in the future.

As for product, it's great. I use my urban decay primer potion with it and it just give the most awesome look. It is very pigmented but a little goes a long way. My only problem that i have is the way it's packaged, it's hard to get all size of brushes in there but not to be lazy i found a way around it. It's a great travel size of amazing colors. There is minimum fall out. I would like to eventually own all of them.

Quick Take: velvety, long-lasting
I bought this quad in the Secret Garden shades, nervous about whether I'd like it or not. Needless to say, I love it! I wear mostly neutral colors, so wearing greens with my blue eyes made me a bit uncertain, but these shades are perfect. While they are green hues, they have enough golden tones to keep them soft and natural. Plus, when paired with a great primer, the colors look fresh all day. My favorite is to use fern on the lid, with vine in the corner, then finish it all off with dark bronze eyeliner. With the cute packaging, fantastic shades, and incredible price, I just may try out another set of shades!

These are good colors for my green eyes. The reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the packaging. A little on the cheap side, I think, but then I guess that is why the price is more affordable. The colors also last all day for me.

I am becoming obsessed with these Tarte boxed shadows. They are compact easy to apply non greasy and very easy to blend. I love the designs of the packaging and the shades they come in. All are east to wear and can be blended for multiple looks day or night.
