Quick Take: good value, high price but worth it.
Price is high, but worth every penny. I have used many over the year's but finally broke down and purchased this one. It did not dry out my hair like others did (how do they do that? heats without drying out the hair?) It left my hair soft and shiny. Claims are that this actually conditions the hair everytime you use it?..that remains to be seen. For right now..I just LOVE my hair. It made me feel so good about myself. Try this..you will love it. Thinking about getting the smaller one also to put curls and waves in my hair.

I've been through many flat irons and was using the sedu the past few years. I thought it was time for an upgrade so I decided to go with the GHD. At first I didn't know if I should go with the classic or the gold but I thought I would give the gold a try. I got it in the mail and gave it a try and I LOVE IT!. I have thick hair which is naturally wavy curly. I have ALOT of hair and this iron does a really good job at getting rid of the frizz. One thing I did notice is that the ghd gold makes my hair a little oily. I am not sure if its just the shine or my hair but I would recommend this product for anyone with thick hair. Also, the brush is a plus I love the brush!

The last (high quality and expensive Sephora) straightener I was using finally stopped getting hot so I decided to splurge on another high quality and expensive one. I stood in the store and debated over the ghd and the T3. I finally decided on the ghd (I'd been eyeballing it for years). I'm in love. I have past the shoulder, super think and coarse hair. The ghd is super light weight--shockingly so, actually. It heats up pretty quick and I do feel that it does a solid job on making my hair straight. So, overall, no complaints yet..and, frankly, I can't imagine there being one.

Quick Take: good value
This GHD is fantastic! It straightens your hair without burning the ends, leaving it smooth and shiny! Everyone thinks I've just come out of the salon. I don't have to worry about controlling the temp. and its easy to travel with. The brush is lovely!

I have loved this straightener ever since my stylist used it on my hair in Korea. I didn't buy it there because the wattage would have been different to take back home and use in American outlets. It's been a long road to save for this, but well worth it. Save your money and get the best.

For the money, you could get much better. The straightener doesn't get very hot, and there's no temperature control. To really see results, you have to go over the same piece of hair like 20 times.

I bought this straightener a couple weeks ago and I love it. I looked at buying this for a couple weeks but the price was a little high. I finally bought it and I'm glad I did. It makes my hair feel soft and it looks healthy. It doesn't seem to burn the ends of my hair like my old straightener started to do. Getting the brush with the straightener is a good value because if you buy them separately you would be spending a lot more.

I love the GHD, this is my second one. Sadly, my first one died on me after 3 years. I tried to find a less expensive flat iron, but everyone I tried did not meet up to my expectations.I finally caved and bought this one, now my wild, frizzy hair is easily tamed into straight, shiny locks.

The Style & Finish Kit is the best purchase I could've ever made! I don't think I'll ever have a bad hair day after using this amazing styler and brush (and trust me, I've had my share). My hair has never looked so sleek and shiny...and with about a 10 second heating time (and alert!), getting ready in the morning seems so quick and effortless! I would recommend this product to everyone!

Love the ghd Style & Finish Kit! Tried the gold styler on my hair for the first time and my hair has never been as smooth and straight. The styler heats up in no time and yet doesn't burn my hair. Plus, in this kit, you get a ghd brush (which, I looked on the ghd website, and it retails for about $65!).
