I bought this a few weeks ago. I was a bit scared that this index would burn and cause my hair to be flat. I transitioned for 8 months before deciding it want for me. I chose this relaxer after hours of research and because its hydroxide free. The only harmful chemical is the guinadine which is in low concentrations. This relaxer was so easy to apply, it did not burn or irritate at all which I thought meant it wasn't working. I was amazed at how healthy and straight my roots were. I shampooed 4 times and let it sit to make sure it was all gone. My hair felt dry after conditioning because this is a very protein heavy system. I deep conditioned with a moisture mask and it was awesome from there. I will never put any other relaxer in my hair from now on.

Perhaps it is just my hair but this product has done nothing for me after several months of use as directed. I am not fond of the way my hair feels and looks when this is used.

Quick Take: easy to use, multi-step, quick results, soothing, hydrating
I purchased this with the Deep Reconstructing Shampoo and fell in love! If you have a lot of hair be warned that you do have to use a few pumps to coat your entire mane but its worth it! Also, this balm requires you leave the product in for 15 minutes plus... I left the balm on for 35 minutes and the results are AMAZING! I wouldn't use this product every day but if you wash your hair every other day or more and you have very dry, breaking, color treated (blonde) hair that tends to frizz at the ends this is for you!!
