Gorgeous, versatile palette!

Quick Take: versatile, varied, glamorous, indulgent
I was lucky enough to snap up the very last of this palette in my local Sephora store. It captivated me the moment it was opened. Twelve absolutely stunning, perfect shades (well, maybe 11, because I don't use the "Deep Night", which is a dark blue, very often) that can be mixed and matched, creating subtle or dramatic looks.
Really, a fantastic set. I'm thrilled with it.

This is a fab palette! I was highly impressed w/ the pigmentation. This was my first experience w/ Laura Mercier's eye shadows and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I wish more shadows were this consistency. So easy to apply and enjoy!!

Good, but I've had better

Really good palette but I probably wouldn't repurchase. A lot of people compare it to the color selection in the Lorac Pro Palette but they are quite different. There are several shadows from this that I really love and are quite unique. The dark coffee color is soo pigmented! However the shadows are a little drier than Lorac's but I think they still blend well with minimal fallout.

Beautiful but disappointed

Quick Take: weak color payoff
I really wanted to like this palette. I gave my mother my Smashbox palette so I had been looking for some neutral eye shadows. When I tried it, the colors went on really light and it seemed like I had to load a lot of shadow on my brush to get any color payoff. Sadly, I took it back. Maybe it's been good for others but I was disappointed.

Love everything about this item. The case is a beautiful, soft faux snake skin and the color palatte is beautiful. The shadows have great pigment color and blend easily. I am so happy I made this purchase.

Superb palette with cool tone shades and great for my blue grey eyes. Recommended by Laura Mercier representative at Sephora who was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Shadows go on like silk and consist of lovely statin and matte colors

Classy and Elegant pallette

The perfect combination of day and evening colors with a rich twist. the colors are great on any skintone and compliment all faces. The pallete has a great mix of matte and shimmery hues, the pigment pickup allows for subtle color application: not too overwhelming and not like you're not wearing anything. i love this pallete and it makes for an outstanding gift.

Gorgeous colors

Quick Take: gorgeous colors, pigmented mattes, light shimmers, so-so
These colors are GORGEOUS, but I am not sure if it hadn't been a gift I would really keep it.
The mattes are perfect and the colors are extremely pigmented and rich. The navy (deep night) can be a bit blotchy, so make sure to have a really fine quality brush to apply.
The shimmers, however, do not show up on my (fair) skin whatsoever and have almost 0 color payoff. The only exception is the sunlit gold color, which is my favorite in the palette and actually shows up on my fair skin. I really wish the Chocolate and African Violet showed up, because they look SO pretty in the pan. All that comes out, however, is a light colorless shimmer.
I much prefer the Naked palettes, but the I needed a palette with more matte variety. Overall rating- so-so.
