Quick Take: wonderful
I have tried almost every BB cream that Sephora has and returned them all. They were all too dark for fair to light skin. After reading the bad reviews for this one, I realized that this one might be the one for me. This is for fair to light skin ONLY for sure! It has excellent coverage, it dries matte and it a perfect base for foundation as you will use less of it since this has such good coverage. Highly recommend to fair to light skinned girls!

Quick Take: awesome
I'm very light skinned so this works out well in terms of matching my skin color. Noticeably better skin with continued use. Reviews indicating its thick consistency might be due to using too much of the product, I find a very small amount is all that is needed and find the product light and blendable. Lasts longer than primer and mineral make up. I do think you must be light skinned as I have gotten compliments on my skin and people were surprised that I had anything on my skin (so it apparently isn't thick, just need to be sure that the color will match your skin-tone and use a very small amount). I find the amount of ratings that rate this product low due to its color is unfair, if the color did not match, it's a clear sign not to purchase. It should come in more tones but these types of things require first testing to see if the color matches.
All in all, if it matches your skin-tone, great product! Skin flaws improved over continued use and has a high SPF.

Quick Take: a great choice
I've been using Dr. Jart+ BB cream for a while, but I wanted to try this one. I have very fair skin, so the color isn't a problem for me. I like this V7 BB despite it's thickness. It is covering, though like most BB creams, minimally, but it smooths out my tone, and my skin looks great! I do put a light dusting of mineral powder over it just to set it.

I am a Lancome girl. However, this product is the most superior cleanser I've used. I have dry skin and it does not dry it out and gets all of my heavy makeup off.

Quick Take: light, natural looking, full-coverage
This BB cream matches my skin tone perfectly. I use about a pea sized amount, and it covers my blemishes and redness around my nose perfectly. (BB creams are not meant to be used in large amounts.) My face stayed oil free all day, unlike some of the other BB creams I've used over the years, and feels very light.

The stuff was thick and cakey, made my skin continually peel, and made it break out too. I should have returned it but I threw it away after a couple of days.

Good BB but not for everyone

I got this as a sample and instantly applied wayyy too much so I had to wash it off because of that and because it was way too light. It looked like a mask. To my surprise I could still feel the smoothing, moisturizing effects of the cream at the end of the day even tho it was mostly gone. I tried again with less to make sure it didn't match. I was right :( This is good stuff and if the color matched I would gladly spend the money on it. Needs to come in more than one shade...

this stuff is cakey and pigmented for extremely fair complexions. i wouldn't use it without moisturizer underneath, which sort of defeats the purpose of a BB...

I am so happy that sephora carries it. I got a sample of this long time ago from a different site but I wasn't able to purchase it anywhere. For me it is the best BB cream. I have tried quiet a few different brands, even other ones by Dr. Jart but wasn't satisfied, the shade wasn't perfect, felt heavy, not enough coverage, my skin didn't tolerate it etc. I love this one: it is perfect for my fair skin, makes me look flawless without the heavy feeling, not drying, doesn't make me oily or break out. It feels perfect for my skin. I love that it's SPF 30 and it's Titanium and Zinc Oxide: more natural options and less irritating to the skin. Please continue selling this.

Quick Take: amazing, smells good
I've been searching for a BB Cream since they became popular. Only problem?--I'm pale. Very pale. As my boyfriend once jokingly said of foundation, "Do they make this in ghost?" Every other BB Cream is too dark, too orange, too anything but right. So when I saw that everyone disliked this cream for its light shade, I knew I would love it. It's the perfect neutral match--not yellow, not pink. The true test? Would it cover the incredibly dark acne scars and current blemishes I am trying to rid my complexion of since discovering I have an intolerance to eggs that manifests in the form of cystic acne? Answer: It does. I don't find it drying, but I also moisturize underneath because I know I have dry skin. All in all, a ten out of ten. Bonus--it smells like Fruity Pebbles cereal, oddly enough. So if you have any of my problems (acne, scarring, cave-dwelling paleness), try it. You can always send it back!

If you're very pale, this is the bb cream for you. The V7 BB cream is a thicker consistency, so more care is needed in application to ensure even coverage. I did not use lotion prior to its use, so perhaps it would go on more evenly if I had.

This product has replaced my foundation. Lightweight and yet great coverage. Time will tell if it makes me perfect as it claims to be a perfecting BB cream...seriously a great product.

Quick Take: thick, pale, natural looking, neutral toned
I knew when everyone's reviews said "way too light" that this would be my perfect shade, and it is! I'm so happy because it's been almost impossible for me to find an American-brand BB cream pale enough for me (pretty sad considering BB creams were originally for pale skin) but this one works. I thought at first it might be a shade too dark but it blends out. I normally wear Bobbi Brown's alabaster as it's one of the only brands that makes my color, so if you also wear that shade this will work for you! It has great coverage and leaves a very natural demi-matte finish. Not too pink or too yellow. I love it.
