BECCA Dual Coverage Compact Concealer

What it is: A split-pan compact containing two concentrations of the same concealer shade for customizable coverage. What it does: Ensuring a flawless match with every application, this dual-sided concealer holds two separate formulations. On the left is a super heavy duty, slightly drier consistency to cover anything from blemishes to scars and birthmarks. On the right side is a slightly more sheer, creamier formulation of the same shade, ideal for under-the-eye areas and blending over larger areas of the face. Sephora is the exclusive beauty retailer for this product.

Dry
-05.09.13
This was very dry under the eyes and creased after an hour. I tried several times but unfortunately it never looked good for that area.

This stuff is awesome
-05.03.13
Quick Take: full coverage, non-drying, lightweight
I'm a big fan of Becca to begin with - I've been using their Luminios 25 SPF Skin stuff for years. Now sephora stopped carrying their stuff for about 6 years. I was excited to find it in store again and went for the concealer. I tested it in store to make sure I had the right color. It works great with my other Becca basics.

BECCA Concealer
-04.27.13
Quick Take: full coverage, creasing
I picked up this Becca concealer at Sephora during Chic Week to try; I’m always on the hunt for a better eye concealer. I loved the concept and the brand had many shades to choose from. Picture and review below.
xoxo, Pascha
Pros: Great texture, love the packaging and I love the 2 compartments (medium coverage and extra coverage).
Cons: It is a creaser; with or without primer it creased on me. I have dry skin so it was fine in that regard but the formula will not do well on oily skin.
Verdict: I returned it. The hunt continues. Hefty price for this little compact: $28.

Horrid ingredient list
-04.09.13
Quick Take: full coverage, greasy, heavy, oily, cakey
Mineral oil and petroleum? This is 2013, why would a company use such cheap fillers in a prestige product.

Great Concealer
-03.13.13
Quick Take: non-drying natural coverage
This is one of the better concealers I have used. I got this in Tahini which is a perfect match for my medium olive skin tone. I've used this for a few weeks and it has not disappointed. Goes on well and has staying power and the while giving a natural look. Love it!

Perfect concealer!
-02.23.13
Quick Take: blendable, full coverage
I love this concealer. Previously I was using drugstore brand concealers and they were either too cakey or too sheer. Becca's compact concealer provides great coverage while blending in and looking completely natural. I have oily skin with occasional dry patches from my retinoid and this blends well with all areas of my skin, and is long lasting even when I get oily.
I love that it includes a medium coverage side for larger areas, and an extra coverage side for darker blemishes. The medium is a bit creamier so that it can blend easily over large areas.
I also appreciate the range of shades Becca offers. I really need my products to have yellow undertones as beige products look whiter than my skin and don't blend in. The tahini shade is perfect for my light-medium yellow based skin tone.
Will definitely purchase again and highly recommend for others.

perfect coverage

Quick Take: great coverage, perfect match
This concealer has really amazing coverage. I have dark circles and this is the best concealer I've tried so far. If you have a skin color that is difficult to match, I would suggest this concealer. Its taken me forever, but BECCA concealer has provided me with the PERFECT match for my skin tone. The only negative of this concealer is the fragrance. I don't like any products that go on my skin to have fragrance, especially something for the delicate undereye area. Plus the scent is old and powdery. Yet, this is still the very best concealer I have tried.

Concealer is one of my biggest problems! Since this was recommended to me - I dont need to add multiple layers of concealer - just by itself its perfect! HIGHLY recommended!

Holy Grail
-01.13.13
Quick Take: full coverage, no creasing
I really should have never bought this, because now I don't think I can go back to any other concealer. It's full coverage and covers everything! I purchased this in "Praline" and apply the lighter shade under my eyes and the darker shade on blemishes. HIghly recommended, although expensive, you get what you pay for.

Great for blemishes
-01.03.13
Good range of colors for skin matching. I like the 2 concentrations of concealer. I use the medium for slight redness and the heavy duty for blemishes. Even coverage following application with a concealer brush.

Great Full Coverage Concealer!
-12.17.12
This is my 2nd time buying this concealer. The first time was when Sephora carried Becca products some years ago, so that should tell you how long it lasts!. I am so glad that they decided to carry Becca again. IMO this concealer works best for under the eyes only. It needs to be warmed up before applying but is a process well worth it because after that it stays all day and does not crease. It is non-drying yet comfortable, with full non-obvious coverage. Exactly what my aging eyes need!

Good
-12.13.12
Very good coverage & stays put. I use a small brush to apply & it covers my blemishes without caking on them. Really does blend away the redness. A little goes a long way, too- it is pricey but I expect to not have to purchase again for many, many months!

Nice needs improvement though
-10.24.12
I got Tahini, and I'm normally a NC 25/30 in M.A.C. The colors worked great and blend so easily into my skin, and I use my finger tips to apply this as the heat from them helps get the product to blend better.
1 star off because it can cake if you put it on a drier part of your skin. The corners of my eyes are dry sometimes, and when I used this as under-eye concealer it caked even when I applied very little.
Another star off because of its staying power. After using Becca's primer with it, by the end of the day it has worn off (no excessive sweating or anything, just going to school). For the price, it should stay on longer.

Waste of time and money
-10.13.12
Doesn't conceal anything. I have a couple of blemishes and it didn't come close to covering them up. Freckles, dark spot, nope, nope. On top of that, the package/amount is small for the price. I already have enough concealers that don't work this will have to go back.

Not what I expected
-10.06.12
Quick Take: full coverage
I bought this with the hopes of covering some under eye circles and blemishes. First of all, it was way too light for my complexion. It probably would've been better if I would've gotten a better color for my skin. It kind of make creases under my eyes stand out as well. I returned it to the store and discussed my issues with a consultant. The consultant helped me find a better concealer for my needs. I'm happy with the other concealer. This concealer has a really cute compact with a mirror. It's super tiny.

Best Consealer Ever
-10.04.12
Quick Take: full coverage
I'm so happy Sephora is selling it again. I've started byuing it years ago when they carried this line, then I was buying it from Becca directly when they stopped. I've tried many products but couldn't find anything better than this consealer that is so versatile, perfectly and naturally covers all imperfections you'd like to hide, and lasts all day long! Thank you, Sephora, for having it back in stock.

Best under eye concealar
-09.24.12
Quick Take: full coverage, long-lasting
I first found this concealer when Sephora first carried the line many years ago. It is by far the BEST under eye concealer I have ever found. I have fairly prominent dark circles and it is the only one that works for me. It is hands down the best in terms of coverage and it lasts a long time. Not to mention the compact is great for slipping into a pocket or purse. I have been ordering it online since Sephora stopped carrying it...I am so happy they are carrying it again!

Great Line of Products
-09.22.12
Quick Take: full coverage
I've been using this concealer since Sephora carried it the first time around (maybe five years ago or so) and it's been going strong since then. Glad to see this line is back as brown girls still tend to have limited options when it comes to cosmetic lines, and this line offers a good number of shades. (Three to five shades for women with a multitude of shades and undertones is not sufficient.)
This product in particular has great, natural-looking coverage and is the closest match I've ever come across. It also lasts forever, so the price tag is really, really justified.
