Quick Take: easy to use, quick results
No offense to the individuals who gave bad reviews, but you guys are talking about how it didn't fix the "friziness" of your hair - it isn't for frizz, it is for split-ends!! I use this product after I straighten my hair or if I just want a little touch up. I am in the process of growing out my hair, and have also been using the Carol's daughter oil after I get out of the shower. I only wash my hair once ever 4-5 days now with a combination of these two products, and I have a lot of thick heavy curly hair that I straighten. It has really helped to keep my split ends under control and keep my hair shiny and smelling delicious!

Quick Take: easy to use, quick results, really works
This product when used as directed, truly made my split ends close up. It lasts about three days and then you need to re-apply it, If you wash your hair more often, use after each washing. I noticed the ends split again after a few days. I am very happy with the product though, it does just what is advertised.

Love this product. Im gonna stock up so I never run out. Ive been gently bleaching my hair. Ive never done this before and as I feared it gently destroyed my ends. I found the word-on-the-street product inadequate.for months I've just been dousing my hair in argan oil. While this product hasnt glued my split ends back together it has made them smoother. Now theyare less noticable and easier to brush through. Ive been trying to grow out my hair and this product has changed my hair brushing experiance from panic inducing to feeling like a tropical goddess. I use a lot more than the reccommended peasize amount and it doesnt have any adverse effects from overuse.

I am have been trying to grow out my hair for a few years now but since my ends would get so dry and had a lot of split ends I would get trims so regular that it would hardly grow. I read a lot of good reviews on this and decided to give it a try. Believe me this is some REALLY AMAZING STUFF. My hair doesn't need those trims so often and for the first time since high school I get compliments on my hair so that just shows how good this product has worked on me. Definatly worth every penny !

Quick Take: easy to use
This product works great on my split ends which have dropped dramatically. Even though I do not die or perm my hair I still end up with split ends from heat and wind. Love the smell as well.

Quick Take: easy to use
This stuff is very helpful for split ends, considering the cheap price. I would recommend it in conjunction with the repairing hair mask. I dyed my hair blone and it killed my ends so this has been helpful in repairing them.

Not worth the money

I bought this product because I was looking for a great solution to give me smooth hair and it was the best rated hair product on Sephora at the time. It did not have a single review that was not 5-star so I decided it was probably going to be worth the 25$
Was I ever wrong. I couldn't believe this product that did not get a single bad review actually made my hair WORSE. I already have somewhat smooth hair to begin with but with a bit of frizz and some split ends. I expected since my hair was not super damaged already that it would work wonders but after using this product my hair was even more frizzy and just did not feel nice at all. It certainly did not repair any split ends either. I wondered why I was the only one who did not like it but now I see in the reviews that I am not the only person who was disappointed.
It really was a waste of money. I wish I would have returned it to get my money back but I find the way Sephora just tosses all returns in the trash very wasteful and so I didn't with hopes that I would maybe use it again someday. It's been a few months now and I haven't.

Maybe it's because I didn't stick with it long-term, but I felt this did nothing for my hair. I dont't have many split ends, but my hair is very frizzy at the bottom, and this did not help with the fizziness in the least. I tried the living proof version of the split end sealer, and it helped with my hair after just one use.

Quick Take: easy to use
I use this product right after I wash my hair and just let my hair dry naturally afterwards. The tips of my hair are more moist and less prone to split ends after using this product. The product also makes my hair shinier and smells great!

Quick Take: easy to use, quick results, use a little bit on ends anytime, most certainly conditions moisturizes, mends ends instantly like a fresh trim!, looks and feels so great!!
i tried this in a sephora store on my dried, spit ends and was amazed how controlled, moisturized and healthier they instantly became...so i bought the full size, and it still has yet to fail me! i use it lightly on dry ends in between shampoos, and get instant conditioning, moisture, like a fresh trim...also apply it to fresh washed, damp hair, and receive a super moisturizing result....worth every penny to me...my hair is fine, thin, shoulder length and very recently colored/highlighted, a little drier than usual, and this definitely is helping...love the monoi line!

This stuff works.
The winter was making my ends very dry but after a few weeks of daily use, they now match the rest of my hair in texture and appearance.
At first I was skeptical about paying so much for such a small amount of product, but I will happily continue to invest because of the awesome results.

Quick Take: fail, over priced
I love Carol's Daughter as a brand. But this product is a joke. Over priced and does not get the job done. I had some frayed ends and tried this product based on the mixed reviews. Did not notice a difference. Was not impressed. And for the price in comparison to the amount of product...Pafooey! The best solution is good hair care. I make homemade conditioners that work better than this product.

Realized after purchasing has a lot of 'cones' in it which is not good for your hair. Did not seem to make much difference on the ends of my fine, wavy hair that has minimal damage after using for a couple weeks but I did like the smell. Returned product as decided was waste of money.

To start, I love the Carol's Daughter product line and I have had this particular product for two months and have tried it several times and a variety of ways (even with Pequi Oil as suggested by other reviewers) in order to write a fair review. My hair is fine, blonde and I straighten it daily.
I personally did not find that the product sealed my split ends or improved the condition in the least. It actually made my fine hair feel weighed down and heavy regardless of how much I applied (I experimented with varying amounts and application techniques). I felt that the ends of my hair looked worse with this product in it. I purchased a drugstore brand split end mending treatment, just for the sake of trying it, for $3 and had far better results (and the bottle was twice the size).
As I mentioned before this particular product just was not for my particular hair type and I will not be be repurchasing this.
