A Holiday Favorite
-01.04.13
Quick Take: a holiday must have
I look forward to this product every Holiday season. It warms on contact, smells like actual gingerbread cookies, and leaves your skin soft. I wish they had it year round, but then I wouldn't be able to look forward to it coming back out come November. A GREAT gift for any girl, mom, aunt, or yourself!

Makes my skin so smooth
-01.02.13
This is the first body scrub I have ever used & I'm very happy with the results. At the end of the summer, I got weird bumps on the backs of my upper arms that just wouldn't go away. After using this scrub only 3 times, the bumps are gone & my skin is baby butt smooth. I am very impressed. The only con to this product, and the reason I gave it 4 stars, is the smell! It does not smell like gingerbread at all - it smells like Lemon Pinesol...I just try not to breathe through my nose

Sooo Addicting!
-01.02.13
I have been using this stuff for years! It smells soo amazing and makes me look forward to showers. The smell is not overly sweet and smells more like coca cola than a gingerbread cookie. The smell isn't girlie, in fact, when my brother in law came to visit he confessed to using it and loving it just as much as I do. I find it a little too abrassive to use dry, but it's prefect when I wet my skin first. This doesn't leave any oily residue and makes your skin feel incredibly soft after. I will use this as long as they make it!

Scent of the holidays
-01.02.13
Quick Take: large granules
I love the smell of the product but as mentioned by others the scrub has pretty large particles. You just have to be cautious about the way you apply so that you don't lose scrub off your skin and washj it all away before it does it's job. The subtle after scent is lovely and it exfoliates great.

Good companion! I was also hesitant because of the price, but very pleased. The large granules do not bother me - I think it helps to exfoliate. Not clumpy or runny, Light, pleasant smell. Will definitely buy again. I wonder if I could add some baby oil to the product? Most scrubs have more oil.

Great Value and Love the Smell
-12.21.12
Smells more like ginger than gingerbread which works just great for me! For the exfoliation the price cannot be topped plus I just love the size of granules. They really work.

Quick Take: amazing
The Gingerbread Man scrub from Philosophy is amazing! It leaves my skin feeling velvety smooth. I love the aroma and texture of the scrub. It's not abrasive on my skin even though it feels thick in your hands. Love this stuff!

Yummy!!
-12.04.12
Quick Take: large granules, declicious scent!
This smells delicious, and leaves just a faint scent afterwards. Does an awesome job exfoliating, however, like others mentioned, the granules are somewhat large, and the product is a tad clumpy/difficult to spread on your body without losing some of the product to the bottom of your tub. But just be careful when applying, and it's fine. No residue afterward, skin feels super soft and smooth!

Quick Take: smells great, good value
I was skeptical about the price tag, but I am SO happy I decided to indulge! This scrub comes in a huge container for the price, smells delicious, and does an excellent job of exfoliating. The granules are on the larger side, but as long as you stick to using this on your body you'll be fine. I love that it didn't leave behind any residue like some other scrubs I've used, and the scent doesn't linger too long like I was worried it might. A great purchase, don't hesitate at the price!

Eh.
-11.09.12
Quick Take: large granules
Not a fan of this scrub. The granules are too large. It is difficult to spread the product over your skin without losing most of it. And the smell is just ok. Not ginger-y or cookie-y enough for me. Just a faint spicy smell. I like Bliss' hot salt scrub MUCH better.

What a mighty good man
-11.07.12
The Gingerbread Man is one of my favorite Philosophy products. The scrub is thick (not runny) and really buffs your skin to glowing. What I love is the scent, which is more of a pure spiced ginger scent than a bakery scent. I repeat, it is NOT supposed to have a christmas cookie scent. So if you are expecting that, move on to one that does. This is a scrub for women that want to pamper their skin without smelling like a preteen. This stuff makes me feel all cozy and warm.

Good enough to eat
-10.30.12
This stuff is great. I love the smell of it and I love the way my skin feels after using it. The scent doesn't linger, so if you want to put on lotion or perfume it doesn't "conflict." I have used it for a couple of years now. The ONLY down side is it is a little messy, but it just washes down the drain.

LOVE!!
-10.29.12
Makes me and my bathroom smell soooo good! Just the right amount of oil to salt. Doesn't make my shower slippery and dangerous like many scrubs do. And it leaves my skin so soft. I plan to buy enough to last all year - I like it that much!

Gingerbread heaven!
-10.25.12
Quick Take: large granules
I love this product. I've tried other body scrubs, but keep coming back to this one. I feel like most scrubs aren't abrasive enough to really smooth my skin. This one really works! It leaved my skin smooth and soft and moisturized and I only have to use it about once a week. I also love the scent. It's true that it doesn't quite smell exactly like gingerbread, but in my opinion that's a good thing. This scent is a mix of sweet and spicy and clean, and I love it.
Also, the trick is to use it on DAMP, not wet skin. Water does wash it away pretty quickly.
