I brought this as a gift to me. I get four great products at a value price I wish they would do more of these kits. The product is pricely but the quality is why it is pricey. I use this and love the way it makes my skin look and feel.

Quick Take: good value, travel size
Bought this set based on reviews and my eternal quest to improve the appearance of my aging skin. Just hit the big 5-0 and I've been troubled with uneven skin and pores, plus some very dry patches. I'm very pleased with this set. Applied the primer to my entire face and the more intensive primer under eyes, nasolabial folds, and crease around my nose. Finished up with my new Bare Minerals Ready foundation and I was very pleased. Best my makeup has looked in a long time. I have tried other high end primers and wasn't satisfied with any other. A little goes a LONG way with these primers, so the higher price can be justified. The mascara is fabulosity. Wore beautifully all day without any raccoon action. The lipgloss is nice, but nothing spectacular on my light-medium complexion. If I re-purchase the set, I'll probably regift the gloss to some lucky girl.

I'd been on the lookout for Hourglass products lately so when I saw the "best of" I was excited to buy. I'm glad I did as the value for each item is great and I'm happy with the quality. The mascara is my new favorite, and I was using Dior Show previously. The thin applicator brush does a great job of defining my crazy directional lashes. The primers make my skin very soft and I notice a more even quality to my face moments after using.

I love to buy sets like this one to sample a brands products. I love that this set gives two full size items as well - it makes the set a great value. The larger primer is a good size and will give me many uses, and even the smaller one will give plenty of uses to decide if a full size would be worth buying. I really like the mascara, more than I thought I would. It is good for volume and length and I didn't have any issues with it clumping, irritating or coming off. My favorite piece of this set is the lip gloss. The color is very neutral and versatile, and the texture is very smooth and nonsticky. Very comfortable to wear and the packaging is luxe looking. This set would make a fantastic gift for a friend who is into high-end make up.

Quick Take: good value
I am a huge fan of Hourglass so this set is a definite must have for Hourglass fans or those who want to try it at an affordable price.
Hourglass's face products are a GODSEND for those with combination skin, so the primers are a joy to use. I had a sample previously of the Veil Mineral Primer and love to use it with any foundation I have, not just theirs. The No. 28 Primer is good for those with dry skin, so definitely a must-have for fall/winter weather. You really don't need to use a lot at all of it so the small vial will last awhile.
The mascara is really interesting for me, since it seems a bit more "wet" than the drier mascaras I'm used to. I just have to let it set for a little longer but they make my lashes look pretty good. No complaints there!
The lipgloss is amazing! It's a very neutral color that goes with anything. It feels like a joy to wear and I love to pair it with other lipcolors or wear it on it's own since it has a bit of a sheen to it.
Overall a great value, especially since the mascara and lipgloss are full sized!

I've been dying to try the Hourglass primer and see what all the hype is about. I first got the primer recently in the Sephora Favorites Superstars kit (go get that before it's gone!!!) and was really impressed with the primer. The primer is now my all time favorite. Seeing how great of a value that kit was, I saw this one and figured it would be a good chance to get a backup of the primer (which isn't cheap to me) and to try the other products at the same time in a value kit. I looove the lipgloss. The color is so pretty and flattering...I'm sure it looks good on most ladies. The packaging is pretty unique and the applicator is like none I've ever seen before, but still functional. I haven't tried the serum or mascara yet, but I am convinced that I won't be let down, plus even if I don't like one of the products, I've still gotten my money's worth and more.

I bought this set because I already knew that I really liked Mineral Veil Primer. The primer lasted about 4 months with everyday use, so it is a great value. The lip gloss in color ignite is very smooth and the color is sheer, but can be layered over your lipsticks to become more opaque. The mascara lengthens and holds a decent curl throughout the day. I have to use an eyelash curler first, then pop this mascara on top. I couldn't try the No. 28 primer serum because it leaked out of the bottle before I received it. Everything except the No.28 primer serum is full sized so it is a great value. I do like Hourglass in general because of the quality and they leave out the nasty ingredients that I intentionally avoid, like pthalates and sulfates.

THE SERUM IN THIS KIT IS ABSOLUTELY OUT OF THIS WORLD. I MADE ME FEEL LIKE I LOOKED FRESH AND LUMINOUS, I LOVE IIT. AND EVEN THOUGH IT IS SMALL IT SHOULD LAST A WHILE BECAUSE IT ONLY TAKES A LITTLE TO GO A LONG WAY. AND THE LIP HINE IN THIS IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER FELT LAST FOREVER AND THE EFFECTS LAST EVEN LONGER.
