It was bigger than I expected. It fits all of my essential makeup. Although it does not fit my brushes, my main reason for purchasing was to hold my lipsticks, make up and mascaras and it does the job. I would definitely recommend

The only complaint I have is about the price, but other than that its a great, spacious case. Each of the sections on the pull out drawers is customizable, so you han make smaller sections for single eyeshadows and larger ones for your longer lipsticks.
It fits everything and is a great case for taking away to college!

Bought this as a Christmas present. Recipient was very happy with it but they don't live near here, so unless I hear any more from them, I can't say any more, other than they especially liked that it came with the shoulder strap. I opened it to check it before I wrapped it and while it did have some styrofoam pieces on it they picked right off. No need to use nail polish remover. Perhaps the difference between the shinier faux croc and houndstooth. Person did say a little on the heavy side.

Quick Take: spacious, hard to open, good value, big, bulky
Spacious, big, has compartments that you can customize with inserts provided. All in all it's greeaaaaat!
So why 4/5? When you open the shelves out they seem kinda...well...stuck? And I have to carefully open it every time even when I had nothing in the box. I can deal though, got 20% off during the Sephora sale. I still would buy the train case w/o the discount. I've had SO many train cases for my personal makeup stash, and this is spacious enough to stack my favorite palettes on the bottom. :)

Quick Take: overpriced
When I got this mini traincase out of the box I was pretty disappointed. The craftsmanship wasn't all that great and for $55 I was expecting something that would excel the quality of a standard Caboodles traincase. It's very cool looking, I'll give it that, but it's definitely not worth the price.

The Perfect Size Case for any big/small trip..

Quick Take: small and convenient, durable and strong
I've seen youtube videos on the bigger train case and I've decided to go with the smaller version. I take small trips more often than big trips and so I thought this would be perfect...and guess what?? I was right. This smaller version train case is perfect!!! I've measured it myself (not exactly to scale, but close to it) and it's absolutely perfect for me. I wrote the dimensions down in the answered part of the questions down below. I love, love this train case. It has 2 dividers that can be easily removed and placed back into place. This is a great deal and purchase. I highly suggest everyone getting the smaller version one if you're not into the bulkier/larger one.
