This "pinch-proof" eyelash curler is just what it says. I didn't realize how nice and painless curling my eyelashes should be. Time will only tell on how durable it is.

I bought this b/c Shu's was no longer sold at Sephora. Its cheaper, curls better, and it comes with not 1 but 2 more replacement rubber heads. Great buy. Bought a bunch as gifts tied to ribbon with L'oreal's Double Extend mascara (best tube mascara). Btw, This mascara, at the end of the day, slides off once wetted down - right off the lashes. No running black mess.

Worth every penny

When I couldn't get the Shu Uemura curler I've used for years, I tried this one. Glad I did! It doesn't pinch, and gives a great curl to my very hard-to-curl lashes. I would definitely buy it again.

I am a long-time user of the shu uemura curler. They stopped selling it in Sephora and in the US a while ago so I've been trying to find a good replacement. Many friends recommended the sephora curler, but I just didn't like it. I felt like I had to hold it down for waaay longer than usual to get a good curl. Returned it after one use.

I've used several different kinds of curlers and never noticed much difference. When my last one broke, I ordered Sephora's Black Diamond. This one is noticeably better! ! It's easier to hold and use and does a good job of curling.

the only eye lash curler i will buy. i wish they sold the little black pieces that go inside the curve separately though, i lost all of mine and had to end up buying another curler. i'd recommend it.

Took me a few times to get the hang of it as the space between the 2 clamps is smaller than my older eyelash curler, but I love it now! It curls great and doesn't pinch.

Quick Take: beautiful really!, effective yet gentle
I have fairly sparse, short eyelashes. Yippee. I can't use just any curler, at least not effectively. This tool is great! it curls my lashes without pulling or pain. The cushion/pad removes any pinching or damage to the eyelashes I have and would like to keep.

Quick Take: perfection, comfortable
Usually I find eyelash curlers to leave my lashes at a awkward right angle but this curler gave my lashes a perfect curl every time. Also on a random note, due to the "Black Diamond" plating it isn't cold to the touch. But if you want to "iron" your lashes, I have no idea how the plating will hold up to the heat.

I've always thought of eyelash curlers as a must before any application of mascara. Most times, drug store brand curlers pinch and look aged after so much as a weeks use. This curler is perfect! Its black, so makeup residue isn't as noticeable, and curling is comfortable!

I was actually impressed by this eyelash curler. Before it arrived I actually expected it to be like any other eyelash curler. I was impressed, it was pretty sturdy and not flimsy and didn't pinch or pull my eyelids. And I like that it's all black mainly because it conceals the mascara that stains the rim which keeps it from looking tacky.
