Quick Take: soft bristles
I am using the coverfx cream foundation and it is wonderful. I was using the bareminerals precision full coverage face brush with this and I thought it was ok and didn't want to splurge on this one. A person at sephora told me that brush was for powder and probably wasn't the best for the cream and the companies do make their brushes to compliment their specific products. So I bought it figuring I would return if it wasn't worth it... but this is amazing. the cream goes on like porcelain, no brush lines which is what I was getting with other brushes, blends perfectly and makes sure just what is needed remains on the face as you blend. I am so happy I got this brush if you use a cream foundation it is a must have. Super soft and perfect for full coverage but subtle cream application.

Quick Take: soft bristles, doesn't shed, uber soft, great for buffing in foundation
I love this brush so much! The Cover FX foundation ended up not working for me. The color wasn't quite right and I couldn't get it to stay. (I have a LOT of things to cover) This brush was by far the best way to apply the makeup. It is amazingly soft and makes it easy to buff foundation into your skin for an airbrushed look. I returned the foundation, but kept the brush. I hate how expensive a good brush is, but this is definitely a good investment. Doesn't shed, soft and sturdy.

Quick Take: soft bristles
I am so glad I purchased this brush at the sephora store. I almost didn't as I didn't want to pay this much for a brush, however as I was looking around the store they had one of the brushes on sale for $16 so I grabbed it!! So glad I did. This is the best brush to apply the Cover Fx cream foundation with, I can't get the same flawless coverage with anything else. Definitely recommend. The only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is because the bristles do shed. I just bought the brush so hopefully it will stop. If you can put up with slight shedding then definitely grab this brush. BTW in order to prevent caking apply in light layers with this brush, if you apply heavy then yes it will cake as with any cream foundation. Light layers and using this brush is the best method and it goes on so much better than using another brush or your fingers in my opinion.

So another person said she had bad shed with this brush and I did too, for the first application the bristles went everywhere, on my face, compact and the counter. For the second and third application so far no shedding at all. this brush blends so beautifully especially on my oily acne prone skin. I use the cover fx cream foundation and im loving it. 5 stars for working awesome ( but look out for a little initial shed)

Quick Take: soft bristles
Love this brush! I like a full coverage and am currently using Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation. All this time I've been trying new foundations and new techniques to try to eliminate the streaks left behind by a regular flat foundation brush.
This brush did the trick! It's incredibly soft - almost like a really, really soft sponge. It's got that kind of density, so there's no bristles trailing behind the others to leave streaks or gaps.
Would definitely recommend. Thinking of buying another in case this one gets discontinued!

Quick Take: synthetic hair
Very impressed with this brush. The bristles are very soft and unlike the traditional flat foundation brushes, this round or slightly dome shaped brush does not streak. I have not noticed shedding. This brush is perfect for applying my Cover FX cream foundation along with any of my liquid foundations. I would def. recommend this brush.

I read another review commenting on the "natural fibers" which is a true tesitment to how realistic this synthetic brush is. This is a synthetic brush made from DuPont Natrafil technology, fibers which mimic real animal hair. I'm a pro MUA and use mostly cream foundations on my clients. This brush is the perfect size to get around the contours of the face, and the shape makes it ideal for applying and buffing foundation into the skin. I didn't have this shed at all, and the bristles are the perfect amount of softness on the face. Unlike a traditional flat paddle foundation brush, this won't leave any streaks on your face. I highly recommend this brush for professional use.

I use this brush with my Laura Mercier Silk Cream Foundation. I still haven't experienced any shedding and I wash it all the time. It applies my foundation evenly without looking caked on or streaky.

Best Foundation brush. Fluffy enough to blend, flat enough to build. The Natrafil fibers truly make it a flawless application with an impeccably even finish.

Sheds BAD! Every time I use this I get little white hairs all over my face! I bought the cover fx cream foundation and thought it'd be nice to have the brush that goes with it.. But I have completely stopped using it and am skeptical about all their brushes now.
