I'm caucasian with naturally wavy/curly hair. I had high hopes in trying out this product. I had wanted to purchase this on a shopping channel I recently watched. However, when I was at sephora...I saw they had the product, so I bought it. I used the the step products and found that it made my hair very soft, but it looked greasy. Since them i've used less, and at one point just used the Co wash...my hair still had a greasy look to it. I won't be repurchasing this product.

This just didn't agree with me. I have "SJP" type hair, can be spirally and frizzy at the same time, and I don't wash everyday. The hair wash/cleaner sort of did it's job, but I didn't feel that cleanness that I wanted. BOTH leave in conditioners were just plain awful - left my hair greasy! The only salvation was the pudding - no crunch or stiffness but didn't hold well for more than 18 hours. I was disappointed.

I am caucasian, blonde, with thin, naturally wavy hair ~ I am thrilled that I tried the starter kit. I finally have found products that enhance my naturally wavy hair into beautiful, bouncy curls. It is highly moisturizing without weighing down my hair. Thank you "Carol's Daughter" !! Your products are winners :) !!

I used to love this product which came in bottles with cow print labels. It disappeared and came back with different formulation and packaging. Old product was great! Very light weyight and fresh smelling. New product leaves my hair greasy and stringy, even when I just used the shampoo and left out the three other heavy products, and the smell is very chemically and unpleasant. I hope they go back to the orininal, but for now they've lost me.

my hair was damaged from straighting it all the time! i thought i would never get my curls back but within two days they were already forming better and felt so great! i am in love with this product. :)

i bought this starter kit because i wanted to try the products and i loved all of them. my favorite is the conditioning co-wash, i got a good clean hair feeling without feeling that my hair was really dry

Been natural for the past two years and have purchased sooo many natural hair care products that I can open a mini beauty supply store, lol! Anyhoo Carol's daughter is the truth my curls are soft and very defined with no stiffness or white residue. Finally a product that works, yay me!

I dont know if I love this or hate it.. I tried the co wash with the leave in conditioner.. It was way too greasy for my hair.. My hair is coarse and slightly wavy. so i tried it with the leave in conditioner(lite). Definitely works better. i actually blew my hair out instead of making it curly and gives it a really nice shine and my hair has no frizz, its just a little heavy and no bounce.

I use this product on my 10 & 3 yr olds. They have curly hair so I like to use the hair milk to define the curls. The only issue is the curls dry out and their hair become very puffy. Its nice for a couple hours but that's about it.

I bought this set along with ouidad's travel set so i could try all of the products to see which worked better with my hair. I tried carols daughter first because it smelled better than ouidad's, hers smelled like those cheap hotel shampoo bottles they give you, but carols smells wonderful i don't think its "granny" anyway the co-wash i loved becasue it is soo smooth in my hair and i used the original conditioner first because there is also a "lite" one i think next time i will wash the product out a little bit more i usually leave in some with my other brands because my hair is so dry but this is so moisturizing you don't need too and it was good for the rest of my hair but it made my bangs greasy cuz i like to have those straight anyway the "milk pudding" which is very thick and yes it does smell like glue but once you get it on your hair that bad smell goes away but my hair was soo curly! i loved it! it looked amazing so i wasn't going to even try ouidad's but i decided to just in case to compare and it did make my hair curly but not near as curly as carol's and it was harder to brush out it made my hair kind of dry. so THANK YOU CAROL'S DAUGHTER :)
