Co-Wash is a Must Have!

When this product first came out I was pretty skeptical about using it because I have thick, relaxed hair. After talking to some lovelies at Sephora, they convinced me to try it because what I didn't know was that while shampoo is great for cleaning your scalp, it strips away moisture from your hair which is why you use conditioner to put the moisture back into your hair. Let me just say, it is FANTASTIC and an amazing time saver!!! It used to take me an hour and a half to do my hair, and now I can have my hair done in about 45 minutes. It makes my hair so soft and it feels so rich, there is no need for anything else.
The only time that I would use a shampoo is if my hair is feeling a little more dandruffy than normal, but other than that I am a convert for life!

Quick Take: lightweight, moisturizing
Carol's Daughter Co-Wash is awesome. I have fine, curly hair that I color. Co-Wash very gently cleanses without stripping off any color. It leaves my hair wonderfully moisturized but doesn't weigh it down. Highly recommend. It's now a staple in my hair arsenal.

this conditioner works for my daughters thick curly biracial hair without weighing it down too much and after that I use the original hair milk leave in conditioner and mimosa hair honey shine pomade.

Although I don't think it works for my hair as a cleansing conditioner, I do like to use it as a leave in. It really helps keep the curls and fights frizz. It didn't seem thick enough to use as a cleanser, it left my hair dry.

I am very satisfied with Carol's Daughter Hair Milk Conditioning Co-Wash. I use it in my 10 year old daughter's hair. My daughter is biracial and her hair is very thick and curly. I wash her hair once a week and this product leaves her hair smooth, very manageable and easy to untangle. I am very happy with this product. Once out of the shower, I put the original Hair Milk in her hair and let air dry. Her curls are beautiful and frizz free.

This product is great and smells good. My hats off to the lady who came up with this miraculous conditioner. I wish I knew about this product sooner. It made my hair soft, strong and manageable, and no breakage whatsoever. I can't wait to order her shampoo. I love the name Hair Milk!

I have very curly hair and have spent the last year transitioning away from a chemical relaxer and wearing my hair natural. I use this co-wash with Carol's Daughter Hair Milk leave in conditioner and have been very happy with the results. It leaves my hair very soft with nice, defined curls. It does get a little greasy with continued use, so I use a traditional moisturizing shampoo every 3 or 4 washers. The scent isn't for everyone, but it's not that noticeable to me - much stronger in the conditioner than the shampoo. I have no idea why people with wavy hair are purchasing this product. It's clearly described for curly hair - it's a great curl enhancer and moisturizer, but isn't going to change waves to ringlets.

I'm textlaxing my hair so I have some natural curl in my hait and this is a god send !!! I just used it today and when I came out the shower it felt so soft !! Then I put some leave in conditioner and my hair felt even softer and bouncy after I was done blow drying. Even my boyfriend felt my hair and said it felt really soft. I cannot wait too co wash again !!! Also it smells AMAZING.

My hair is curly,color treated and dry ends. I had big hopes for this. But as a conditioning-shampoo I didn't like it. I wasn't enough moisture for my ends and too much for my roots. I tried it as a conditioner and I liked it better. But still not enough moisture. It just didn't leave my hair as soft and shiny as other conditioners have, I did love the smell though.

I'm Indian with thick, wavy hair that tends to have a lot of frizz. I wash my hair with just conditioner a lot so I don't have to dry it out all the time, but this stuff was just terrible. My hair is pretty shiny but this stuff made it dull and WAY more frizzy than it normally gets. Maybe this would work for someone who wants to add a lot of texture to their hair, but I do not recommend this.

I used Wen an other Wen type products for years because I no longer like shampoo & how harsh it is..one of my biggest complaints with the Wen type hair system is I loose a lot of hair and it does not totally give the moisture I need. I really love Carols daughter for those two reasons, my wavy hair is really smooth and frizz is calm, def my new fav!!

Leaves my curls perfect, just as advertised. It smells great too. I give it only 4 stars because it leaves my hair a little greasy after two days, especially if not washed out completely.
