Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb
In 2005, Viktor&Rolf launched its first bomb: a profusion of flowers in a feminine perfume, sensual to the point of excess Flowerbomb. Today, it is the turn of the masculine codes of perfumery to be dynamited: Spicebomb offers us the promise of a concentrate with an explosive personality. Deliberately powerful, exaggeratedly sensual, decidedly audacious. The bottle, a reworked custom-built grenade for a perfume made up of explosive scents, is encircled by a black band that cannot contain the force of the fragrance. An olfactory explosion is ineluctable. An explosive encounter between two accords with detonating tones: the first, explosive, fuses zesty, fresh notes while the cold spices leave their icy bite. The second, addictive, combines a middle note of incandescent spices with a wholly masculine combination of leather and tobacco as well as the brute force of vetiver. Notes:Bergamot, Grapefruit, Cinnamon Leaf, Pink Pepper, Lavandin, Chilli, Saffron, Elemi, Vetiver, Balsam Fir, Tobacco Accord, White Leather Accord. Style:Explosive. Addictive. Seductive.

I just wanted to add my voice to the list of reviewers who received a sample size not realizing it was a man's fragrance, and ended up loving it on myself. Its sexy and spicy and intoxicating. I just ordered a full size, all for me. My man is not a cologne kind of guy, so I don't even have to worry about sharing.

Men Fragrance Worn by Women

This smells amazing! I bought it for myself and I'm a girl. Somehow it doesn't smell typically manly and as I can read on the comments, a lot of other women seem to be wearing it as well. I really wonder how this smells on a man??!!
If you're looking for something very manly; this is not it! The bottle looks more manly than the actually fragrance.

Quick Take: colofume, perlogne, cute couple smell in one scent, spicy/sweet/slightly floral
Straddles the line of masculine and feminine with such ease. Love the spicy/semi sweet hot guy smell! I've actually found myself catching a whiff of this cologne/perfume (colofume or perlogne? hah!) and then lookIing around for the cute guy who was wearing it...only to remember oh yeah. That's me. Durr. But it appeals to the dudes and the ladies. Verrry nice.

Quick Take: captivating, perfect, delicious
Seriously my best friend bought this and he wears it all the time! I told him to save it for the fall he told me he could not wait! He loves it, and I love it more! It's so captivating! I seriously love when he wears it, and love it when he sprays it in my car, the smell lingers for hours!

Sephora Has No Integrity

Sephora listed the corresponding gift set with a 3 oz. bottle of Spicebomb. Order arrived with a 1.7 oz. bottle instead. Sephora would not do the right thing and honor the specifications of this gift set at the time of sale. Sephora has removed mine and other previous comments after they were posted. Beware! This company has no integrity!!

Perfect for a Young Man with Good Taste

Quick Take: good value, perfect scent
My 23 year old son is extremely into fashion (if we only had the money??!!), among other artistic endeavors. I bought him the "hot" Calvin Klein fragrance for Christmas last year, but I don't think that he's ever worn it. We were at a Sephora store where I wanted to browse - he usually waits outside for me - but this time, after he saw me asking for samples of fragrance, he decided to explore men's fragrances. I don't know which ones he chose, but the person working with him was very helpful and friendly in giving him some samples to try. I was a bit taken aback when he told me a few weeks later, that he wanted to buy this fragrance. I have a few comments:
> this fragrance smells FABULOUS on him - he doesn't smell like every other 20-something out there
>he has very eclectic tastes in everything and knew that this was THE ONE of the samples that he was given that he wanted to buy - I tend to think of it as something for a slightly older man, but he wears it well
>the fact that Sephora lets you take home samples of cosmetics and fragrances is one of the many reasons why I LOVE Sephora stores and have since they opened in NYC. (We live in upstate NY and it took several years for Sephora to open a store here. We would make regular trips downstate to visit stores like Sephora since we were used to a more cosmopolitan setting (moved from Washington, DC). So now, besides his 58-year old mother, you now have a 23-year old customer for life.

Quick Take: good value, spicy, clean, perfect
So, I literally smelled this cologne from the little swatch IN A MAGAZINE AND I ALREADY AM IN LOVE.
This cologne is seriously everything I have been looking for in a scent for a long time, and it will be perfect for my boyfriend. Heck, i might even get a bottle and mix it with Kat Von D sinner (smells like they would compliment each other nicely).
Its nice and spicy with a milky, clean, soapy undertone which I have been searching for for a long time.
I only gave it 4 stars because, alas, my only point of reference is a magazine, so it could smell different enough in person or on the body to make it less than what I expected.
The next time I get a chance to go to Sephora, I will definitely be getting a sample, hands down.

Spicy Unisex Fragrance

Quick Take: long-lasting, unisex, spicy
Bought this a week ago for myself because I was attracted to the spicy and musky notes. My boyfriend loves it too and I think I might get it for him for the next special occasion. It's refreshing from all the sweet, fruity scents and floral scents that most women fragrances are. I like the spicy notes and prefer it over Flower Bomb. Stays on the whole day and fades to a nice musk. A nice change.

Love, love, LOVE Spicebomb and am so glad you are carrying it! Just ordered a bottle as soon as I learned this. To heck with the guys on this one! I wear it as a perfume and everyone constantly asks me what I'm wearing. Love everything about it. Smells amazing on a woman too:) You'll have to keep a lot of this one on stock. It's a total winner. Would love it if you carried a full sized shower gel and body creme/lotion in this. Perhaps in future?

Quick Take: reusable, good value, delicious
I'm one of those that got this as a sample and fell in love without knowing it was supposedly a men's cologne. That being said, I loved it immediately and was surprised because this type of scent goes against my clean and fresh scent preferences. And I went through the sample so quickly that I had to buy the full size within days of receiving the sample. It's that delicious.
I also may or may not have tried to convince my brother that he needed this scent too. (I did. I totally did.)

I chose this as one of my 3 free samples not realizing it was for men. When I got it I saw the "Por Homme"... woops! I don't really care though because this smells amazing! It really could work for men or women. I tend to like more sensual spicier scents and this definitely delivers.

I got this as a sample and did not realize it was a men's fragrance. I put it on and loved it! My boyfriend thought it was a sexy scent for me. I wore it to work the next day and received lots of compliments. When I went to Sephora online to order a full bottle, I realized it was meant more for men. This could easily be a unisex scent and I can't wait to have my boyfriend wear it as well. After reading the other reviews, I'm glad to know I wasn't the only woman who wore this and loved it!

Quick Take: good value, unique and addictive
As a fragrance addict and collector, I put aside all of my other scents and bring SpiceBomb to the TOP of my shelf! This fabulous creation is strong but subtle, fresh and woody with staying power that compliments my own chemistry to create a masterpiece of aroma therapy!! It's addictive and seductive, and so distinct. There are so many "generic" smelling scents on the market today, and after awhile they all smell alike. Spicebomb leaves them all in the dust! This is now my Signature Scent! It works in any season, any occasion, and for any reason. I thank Sephora for their speedy delivery and excellent service. I am hooked!! This may just be the "Holy Grail" of all fragrances!!

Spicey and Warm, Easily Unisex

This fragrance starts out with citrus and spice, but mellows out to a comforting blend of tobacco, leather, and incense. My husband enjoys Baldessarini Ambre, but Spicebomb was a miss for him as the pepper notes were too strong for his taste. The scent actually reminds me of of a Head Shop; very earthy and full of incense. Spicebomb could easily be UNISEX and reminds me of Carolina Herrera 212 (a scent I used to sneak from my brother!). I think this scent is sexy and sophisticated, but not for the average man. It's smells a little dirty, dangerous, and mysterious...but I secretly love that in a man!

Requested this as a sample not knowing it was "pour homme". Spritzed it on my wrist and thought it was incredibly intriguing, smells like an Indian incense. I didn't realize until I logged on to Sephora to see what the top notes were that it's for men. I would totally wear this! "Intriguing" is not an adjective I've used to describe a fragrance ever, and it's addictive.
