What is left that hasn't been said about the best facial moisturizer of all time? I have tried dozens and always come back. Bought this little size as a gift for a (now former) doubter. She will be purchasing soon!

Good moisturizer but drying

I have very oily skin. This moisturizer is good but I notice dry spots on my face after using. Maybe too drying for my liking.

I felt as though it was very moisturizing however I could not get over the smell! Maybe I received a "bad batch" or something, but it smelled awful! I ended up returning it because I could not stand the smell!

This isn't bad for its price. The moisturiser is easily absorbed by the skin and the skin feels super soft after application but it feels a little caky. I don't think this is enough moisture for my dry skin because when I put my foundation on my skin looks matte. The smell is horrendous, its a mix of medicine and gasoline. It makes me question what's in the product to make it smell his way. If you are looking for an affordable day to day moisturiser and don't have problem skin then I would recommend this. I am going to keel looking for something that provides me with more moisture and has a better smell.

Love this product for overnight

I only use this product at night, and already I have noticed a difference in the texture of my face. This time of year is very dry where I live, and my skin really drinks this in. I've seen some complaints about the smell, but I find the smell to be neutral. Great stuff!

This is an amazing moisturizer! It doesn't make your skin feel greasy! It's so light! I use it twice a day or more, and it has been fabulous for my skin! I can't give it enough stars!

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
Tried some of Philosophy products before, then saw an ad in the United Duty Free magazine on the plane, tried the moisturizer and really liked everything about it... the texture, the absorbency, the travel-friendly size, the smell, or rather that it's a fragrance free, the way the skin feels even after hours after using it, etc.. would definitely recommend it (and actually already did) to my friends ;)

My boyfriend ran out of moisturizer and I had read good things about Hope in a Jar so I was a little broke and decided to get him this cute ornament sized one to try it. It does a great job of moisturizing, he only needs to put on one coat whereas the Clinique gel (yellow one) requires him to put on 2 coats. However, the major drawback is that it smells!! Omg I don't know if every jar is like this but at first the smell is pleasant then...not...

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, intensive, hydrating, versatile
I have perpetual dry skin and have such a hard time finding projects that don't leave my skin feeling tight, itchy, and dry--or on the other end of the spectrum, very greasy. This moisturizer is perfect. It does smell a little medicinal, but the scent goes away after a little while. I highly recommend.

Decent cream, horrible smell

Like others, I just couldn't get over the smell of this product. It's a very sharp, acidic, overpowering floral scent. Yuck. The cream itself is OK, and did seem to soften my skin a bit, but I ultimately had to take this back.

Smell?!

I used this product the first day and although the product felt good on my face, it has a weird smell. Almost like burnt plastic. I couldn't use it after the Iraq day because I could smell te odor the entire time! Maybe my bottle was defective?
